Newbies very welcome provided they meet the strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, must have a special pot, NO instadiffers) and bring a bouquet of sausages when they join!

He absolutely is! The cheek of it! God, the things I watch to put off packing my bag and admitting it's a school night!

CatsCantFlyFast · 15/04/2013 00:14

Is Keith Lemon stealing our Gail's idea?? (Not watching as in bed)

Boodlebum · 15/04/2013 00:12

Oops... Wanging, not wangling! Grin

Boodlebum · 15/04/2013 00:12

Omg! Sausage wangling on Keith Lemon right now!!!

CatsCantFlyFast · 15/04/2013 00:04

Also tryin, would you try temping? For some people OPK's are not accurate and outside of blood tests, temperatures are the best way to pinpoint and confirm O

CatsCantFlyFast · 15/04/2013 00:02

trying hellloooo! I can't say much about a short LP (seeing as mine seem to last forever) but I would gently recommend more than 1 cycle temping prior to trying any supplants (not sure if I read you right so ignore me if I'm wrong!). Only reason being that most people have an odd cycle once in a while and supplements can stuff up a normal cycle so I'd want to be sure I had an issue before I tried anything. FX for you, and you know your body best so ignore me as I'm sure to be wrong
In my world I'm off to bed. Can't pimp in the morn as none left, but hopefully will have arrived while I'm at work tomorrow. Theres not much point me testing without FMU this early but not sure that will stop me tomorrow eve Had the same 'pains' from last month all afternoon but nothing since about 6pm. Can you 2ww-ers all please come out the woodwork so I'm not the only boring paranoid weirdo...

CharmingCats · 14/04/2013 22:55

As far as books go, the one I like the best is:
www.amazon.co.uk/Impatient-Womans-Guide-Getting-Pregnant/dp/1451620705/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1365976329&sr=8-1&keywords=the+impatient+women%27s+guide+to+getting+pregnant
But I also highly recommend tcoyf, especially for the cm and temping information. Both are written in an accessible style, but the first one is quite funny and really resonates with the berry sense of humour. She recommends tcoyf, so the advice is complementary.

Trying123 · 14/04/2013 22:49

Thanks Boodlebum!, off to bed myself too, just wanted to check I could navigate my way round here! night x

Boodlebum · 14/04/2013 22:46

Hello Trying! Glad you found us OK! (Although I think most of the Berries have retired to bed tonight!)

Boodlebum · 14/04/2013 22:44

Sorry - I've not bothered buying any books. I'm like Barking and I've just stuck with Dr Google. TCOYF is the one I get heard talked about the most. if I were to buy a book, that would be the one I'd at least start by looking at.

Trying123 · 14/04/2013 22:42

Bunnygirlie · 14/04/2013 22:39

boodle scientific ones please, have read 50 shades of shite, never again!

OP posts:
Boodlebum · 14/04/2013 22:08

Teachers in the house, guess what I'm about to start doing...my planning! Oh yeah, that's right! I haven't done any maths planning for this week.

I live fast and loose, me.

Boodlebum · 14/04/2013 22:06

Bunny, when you say making babies books, do you mean practical, informative, scientific books, or are you talking 50 Shades of Grey stylee?

(No to the first, a resounding no to the second.)

BlindKitty · 14/04/2013 22:04

Right girlies, off to bed. Have a good day tomorrow and barking hope you're feeling better soon xxx

Bunnygirlie · 14/04/2013 21:58

( gets off the sofa of pity so barking can sleep, pops her ass on the pouffe of possibility)

barkingtreefrog · 14/04/2013 21:48

And to quickly reply to what I've missed..

Bunny I've only used Dr Google.

Tally lovely quilts Smile.

Kitty how very thoughtless.

barkingtreefrog · 14/04/2013 21:47

Planning done. Sort of. Job application for DP done. Resources emailed to my work address so I have back up if I forget/lose memory stick. Now need to get bag sorted for work and have a bath. No shower as the tiles aren't set yet and there's no screen up. But then no bath either if the taps have stopped working again. Oh the joys.

I could do with another week of holiday, so many things I meant to do and haven't done yet... Feeling so tired. I shouldn't be going back to work like this, I'm supposed to be refreshed!!

Can I sleep on the sofa tonight?

Bunnygirlie · 14/04/2013 21:39

Question peeps - anybody bought any good making babies books?

OP posts:
BlindKitty · 14/04/2013 21:27

Bunny and boodle I know! She was just joking but did kinda hurt. Not that I would know (being childless) but I thought it would make more sense putting a baby into his outfit vertically feet first, rather than wrestling with him horizontally on my knee!

Bunnygirlie · 14/04/2013 21:13

kitty ugh! Don't get me started on thoughtless comments! ,

OP posts:
Boodlebum · 14/04/2013 20:57

Kitty, what her mum said just shows how completely thoughtless some people can be!

BlindKitty · 14/04/2013 19:29

Bunny - I'm cool about it now but it did make me sad at the time. Especially when she asked me to dress him the morning of the christening and her mum walked in a said 'God, you tell you haven't got kids, shall I just dress him....?'

Let me know if you want any help with FODMAP.

Bunnygirlie · 14/04/2013 19:22

kitty that is hideous! I think that would make me sob!

I will google FODMAP, sounds interesting.

Nowt wrong with bigging yourself up Tally, I did after all post a piccie of my marvellous macs!

BlindKitty · 14/04/2013 19:20

barking thinking about your Tesco experience, I was in Tesco's the other day and I spent so long looking at the labour tens machine (yes, Tesco's sell them!) the security guard came over to see what I was doing. Think I was just lost in my own fantasy world lol

Boodle yes my friend does know. We have both been trying for about 23 months, both had all our tests the same time, both started clomid the same time and both about to start IUI in June. Oh and we're both going on holiday at the same time so hoping for ironic pre IUI pregnancies at the same time!
