Welcome aboard ladies (though obviously sorry you have to be here). We're a friendly bunch so come in and plump up a cushion for POAS Fridays and lots of posifrickingtivity. With a few (gentle) fish slaps thrown in for good measure.

OLTT I just did the test too and it also thinks that I'm 29 (I'm 34). Suspicious?
Or are we both just fantastically awesome at clicking dots?

Boo to the stomach cramps

OneLittleToddleTerror · 18/04/2013 09:06

It's someone's research at harvard btw.

OneLittleToddleTerror · 18/04/2013 09:05

Sitting in the office, first thing I saw on fb is
kgajos.eecs.harvard.edu/ag/

It tries to guess your age from how fast and accurate you click your mouse on the dots on the screen. Supposedly it's a test of motor skills. It thinks I'm 29! I need something to cheer me up Grin.

OneLittleToddleTerror · 18/04/2013 09:00

Thanks everyone, you are making me laugh. Cheers to all of us perfectly riped ladies Wine.

mummy I used concieve plus. It's basically the same as preseed but without the syringe.

The empty sac is giving me stomach cramps today. Maybe my body has finally got the agenda. Or it could be pregnancy related constipation Angry

alyant79 · 18/04/2013 08:46

Welcome OLTT, but sorry that you're here. The body not realising that it's only growing an empty sac phenomenon seems to be a common one. I've decided that it means my uterus is really really good at being pregnant, and is just waiting for the perfect little embryo to come along.

Didn't dtd last night - instead I had a good cry on DH's chest. I think it was good to remind him that on the outside I seem to be doing super well, inside I'm still a bit messed up. Anyway I decided that I'm going to do my best to be super chilled about the whole ttc thing for a few months - if nothing has happened by then we will try and be a bit more proactive (both with DD and MMC got pg first try, so fingers crossed). this will never happen and I am going to go CRAZY each month. I already hate this plan and wish we had DTD
ARGH!!

In other news watched the sewing bee show last night. I'm going for Lauren. I like how she melts under pressure. Reminds me of me

Mummytothearkbuilder · 17/04/2013 22:57

Thanks for the recommendation chocolate - I will get some pre-seed if it doesn't work this cycle xx

Emki · 17/04/2013 22:23

We've got lots of time - some of my friends have only just started ttc and they are even older than me!!!!!

We've been very unlucky and it will happen!!! Posifrickingtivity to go to bed on - I recommend you all have a massage- the one I had today has made me feel a bit brighter xxx

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 17/04/2013 22:14

Mature isnt a word I would use for myself!
I prefer 'perfectly ripe'! Grin

Bakingtins · 17/04/2013 22:09

I am so pleased there are more (ahem) "mature" women on the thread. I have felt like an old bag on here for so long! Hurrah for 38 yr olds.
OLTT I've been TTC no 3 since Aug 2011 with only 2 MC to show for it. I feel your pain and frustration, or at least something like it.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 17/04/2013 22:02

Mine was nearer 6 weeks. It is BLOODY frustrating!

Emki · 17/04/2013 21:50

OLTT I think I'm not the normal most people seem to get AF after 4-6 weeks - I'm sure your will come soon Smile x

OneLittleToddleTerror · 17/04/2013 21:25

emki and guff that's exactly it. I want to be normal so I can try again. It doesn't sound very reassuring that proper periods don't start again for so long Sad. I guess I need to readjust my expectations a bit. I definitely can feel that biological clock ticking away. fod you are too young to worry about it yet!

ChocolateCremeEggBag · 17/04/2013 21:12

Mummy - I used Pre-seed on this cycle and got BFP and used it on the cycle I got the BFP for DS.
You get a tube and some dosing syringes and squirt it up within 30 mins of the chaps being released Grin it is not the most romantic of things, but then ttc sex really isn't romantic is it

Sorry that there are more of you joining the thread, it has been a lifeline for me (am a v recent graduate and still dodging between this and it's sister graduates thread) so a good place to be to offload.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 17/04/2013 20:58

Im 38 week after next. The old biological clock ticking is so loud its deafening! Sad

fod27 · 17/04/2013 20:55

Sorry your here OLT it's proper shit isn't it? I'm so gutted that you e had to go through it all again....also for my own selfish reasons.... I've had my first mmc I'm 29 Ive also had two problem free pregnancies and healthy babies and I keep telling myself it was a one off and can't possibly happen again ( god I hope that's true!)

They told me at the blood clinic I should know my results by Friday secretly hoping they test for pregnancy, and it's positive and I'm cancer free how long does it take to show up in your bloods?

Emki · 17/04/2013 19:53

OLTT sorry you're here too - I've had 2 mmc since last June - 20 week and 8 week and I'm also 38! Had erpc 8 weeks ago and waiting for AF to arrive STILL! Sorry ladies for repeating myself!!! So I'm in a very similar place to you but we have to be positive - my doctor at the epau said that I've just had a lot of bad luck - and it will happen! But when???? We want control!!! Arrrgghhh! But it will happen! It will!!! I'm two personalities constantly!

guff I hear you! Want my body to be a bit more normal! Xxx it will happen! Everyone keeps telling me it will!

Went for massage today to try and relax..... Grin

GuffSmuggler · 17/04/2013 19:07

santa that is too funny - was it a cool superstar like Robbie Williams or someone a bit embarrassing like Peter Andre? Grin Someone I knew at uni snogged Dean Gaffney and we were like 'WHY would you admit that!?' ha ha.

Sorry you're here OLTT - we also started TTC no. 2 in Sept and am so fed up we're no further along, although I know it's nothing compared to some people here.

I'm generally fed up today, has been a month exactly since the MMC was diagnosed and 3 weeks since the ERPC and STILL i had a bit more blood today, was absolutely minuscule but it put me in such a foul mood, I was like FFS it has been a month of seeing blood down there, I just want my body back to normal so I can TTC again!!

I feel like there is a mountain to climb in getting PG again, but I know we all feel like that which is why we are here.

saggy from my previous TTC thread I know some people do ovulate straight after AF so the general advice was start shagging as soon as it's stopped (if you weren't using OPKs).

OneLittleToddleTerror · 17/04/2013 19:02

saggy I was most likely on the September bus. Then it was all a blur with ttc bus I was on Sad.

And what you said sounds like a good plan. OPKs are cheap enough from the Internet so it is worth testing from maybe even day 5 to give you piece of mind. I didn't have any luck with the opks I got though. I am going to start using the CBFM once I get to my first real period.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 17/04/2013 17:57

I have been having a little think girls.
I've been using OPKS, but I don't seem to get a really definitive strong line. I did however start on day 8 this month, and there was a line which got fainter for a few days, then got stronger. What I'm thinking is that rather than ovulating late and having a short LP on a 26 day cycle, maybe I'm ovulating right at the start and I'm missing the strong line as I don't start testing for a few days after AF. I did seem to have EWCM on the last day of AF. I read somewhere that it's common to get a Later smaller surge of LH and a small amount of LH later in your cycle, after OV so maybe this is what the sticks are reading?
Anyway, it's just a thought, so I'm going to POAOPK during AF and see what the OPKs say. It would make sense a bit with the last PG where my bloods were always a little high and I got a strong BFP at 3.4!

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 17/04/2013 17:45

OLTT weren't you on the September bus with us? I'm so sorry you have all this shit again. It's absute bollocks! Sad

OneLittleToddleTerror · 17/04/2013 16:09

santa I'm intrigued by the internation start too Grin

OneLittleToddleTerror · 17/04/2013 16:07

Afternoon ladies. Hope you have space for one more?

I had a quick scan on the last few pages of the thread. It seems you lot are all busy ttc. I definitely need some good news and preparing myself for it again so think I might as well hop on here.

A bit about myself. We started trying for #2 in Sept last year. I had a mc at 6/7 weeks in January. I still felt positive at that point and think it couldn't happen to me again as statistics is on my side. I got a BFP again immediate in the next cycle, got to my 12 week scan, but now I'm the proud owner of one empty sac Sad. Now I felt I'm a case of recurrent miscarrage and it doesn't help I'm 38. I am having another at the EPAU next week, but I know from my POAS dates that I'm at least 10+ weeks. My body hasn't clued up to the mc yet. Isn't it a bit stupid Hmm?

I'm not looking forward to another round of sexathon either. It's fairly tiring work isn't it? Given we aren't teenagers anymore Grin.

I've also joined the gym today to tone up my bum and tum. They measured my sac at 6 weeks size, but I already can't do up my jeans. So I couldn't blame the weight gain on anything but my constant snacking in the first trimester, can it?

WillSantaComeAgain · 17/04/2013 16:00

Ahhhh, my lips are sealed.

(No one from Hollywood - perhaps international is a bit stretching it?) But definitely known on more than one country!
OTGA - one that got away. I made that abbreviation up (though there was a thread on it a while back).

Sounds like ovulation pain to me, but then I seem to get twinges all the time now - I think it just makes you really aware of where your reproductive organs are. One of the wierdest things I get from time to time is the feeling of a baby kicking. I'm sure its just a muscle twitching or a memory, but sometimes its so strong I convince myself I'm 5months gone and that I'm going to be one of those women that goes into labour when they didn't know they were pregnant [going mad emoticon]
