Right, you lot. Somebody is hiding AF when she is supposed to be here with me. I'm on cd34 now and am getting fed up of wondering when she is going to turn up. Own up, who has her cos it is my turn?

keepitgoing · 25/03/2013 10:42

Oh cup how awful for them. :(

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 25/03/2013 09:50

Oops pressed send to soon

Sweetie hope you are having a fab holiday

Solars when are you joining DH?

I'm so jealous, I really really want to go on holiday. Hopefully when we have more of an idea when ICSI will be happening we can plan something.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 25/03/2013 09:47

Morning Brookers

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. We had a bit of a rubbish one. Some very close friends of ours have lost their baby at 19 weeks. We are so sad for them. We ended up staying at home on Friday & going to the inlaws on Saturday as we went to see our friends instead. I'm so upset for them, this is their second loss (the other was at around 7 weeks). Life seems so very cruel sometimes.

Keep I hope you and DH had a lovely weekend. I'm still so excited for you Smile

Oh by the way I will be doing ICSI not IVF

Maybe I'm gutted that you'll have to wait a cycle. Is it because your DBro is getting married abroad? Is it in Italy?

Cartoon hope you are doing ok.

Geek you are putting in some very long hours at work! I hope the end is in sight. How is dink boss doing?!

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 25/03/2013 08:01

Keep I did a couple of tests too one a day for about 2 weeks Blush I liked seeing the line get darker Grin

keepitgoing · 25/03/2013 03:47

You were much further along, face, and hcg would have been at least 20,000, so it's not surprising if it takes a while to go down. hcg geek alert

I po2s this morning. One was the stupid boots variety I used the other day. Positive, but not as strong as the control. Do not buy boots value. The other was a just-ou-of-date (sigh) one from uk. Positive right away. The second was in the interests of science...

No more now. Blood test on Friday anyway.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. X

GenericDietCola · 24/03/2013 20:55

I understand why you would want to know where you are in your cycle. Bear in mind it may take a bit longer this time as you were a bit further on. I found that anyway. Hope you're doing ok chuck x

cartoontrickster · 24/03/2013 20:10

6 wks gen, really didn't think it could take so long. other times I've got my period exactly 4 wks later but I've got a feeling this will be longer.
no sparks but I do it to give me an idea of when my cycle will start up again. bit silly this time really as I'm not ttc right now so it doesn't matter.

GenericDietCola · 24/03/2013 18:06

Face I had 3 erpcs and it usually took 6 wk or so to get a -ve, so don't worry. you'll be TTC again soon.

thanks keep that should help me say the right things and brook properly. ill have to keep re-posting it so I can refer back.
in other news yesterdays pee stick decided I was still pregnant. not sure if it should be negative yet or not really.

keepitgoing · 24/03/2013 11:31

keep's guide to assisted brooking conception:

Iui, squirt sperm up your chuff

Ivf, make lots of eggs if poss, fertilise in a dish, pop an embryo/s back

ET embryo transfer, ie when they put the embryo back. As sweeties using donor eggs she won't do the stimulation part if ivf.

Icsi, like ivf only they inject one sperm into the egg, rather than just swishing them around. Used if male factor issues.

I think it highly unlikely you will need any of these, face, as you get preg easily. They sometimes test the embryos for genetic abnormalities before putting them back, this is called pgd, but I think its unlikely you'll need that, sweetheart. That's normally if you're both a carrier or have a genetic disease.

cartoontrickster · 24/03/2013 10:54

keep I need a list of short explainations iui, icsi etc? although I have a feeling I may be finding out about some of these soon. actually I think I know the iui don't iHmm

keepitgoing · 24/03/2013 10:42

Thanks gen and Jen. Will you be rejoining brookers, like musical? Though gen's a bit recent.

Right, I want a list on assisted brooking...
Solars, monitoring cycle next month
Beedle, ivf appointment v soon...
Sweetie, ET in April
Maybe, icsi the cycle after next
Geek, can't remember... But soon
Cupcakes, ivf in next few months, brooking for soon
Scarlett, iui coming up
Cartoon, taking a break

At least that's it in my head? Who did I forget?

GenericDietCola · 24/03/2013 09:10

Just marking place and still excited for Keep! I have to live vicariously thru you lot now.

Maybe, sorry you have to delay a cycle but I'm brooking no argument that you'll be diffed straight away.

So excited for all the other assisted brookers too. Love and brooking to you all x

JenFreggle · 23/03/2013 20:24

That's amazing news Keep!

We've had no snow here, just rain. Today has been dry though so we've spent the day geocaching

keepitgoing · 23/03/2013 16:06

Plus, my sister will go crazy with excitement.

keepitgoing · 23/03/2013 16:05

Boo I seem to remember your nerves too ;)

I just don't want her to worry through this bit too sparks (though I know she's worried now. Mums for you!). Maybe once we've seen a heartbeat. I agree, as I would tell them if sth went wrong too.

Boo I remember that dreadful stalker. Weirdo.

Night all x

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 23/03/2013 15:52

you will have to stop that sort of posting if you want your cushions when you move in with us Wink

I think I was about 8 weeks when I told my mum and brother, my best friend knew just after the bfp (because of that stupid MN/FB stalker)

It's a bit hot outside here for sunbathing, esp if you've been told not to swim by a consultant... We are gearing up for summer here. Sorry ;)

maybe that is annoying you have to wait another cycle. At what point would the wedding be? Is there really no way... But either way it won't be long!

beedle no visitors till my parents mud May, when I'd be about 11 weeks I think. But they've known our issues just not when we planned to do ivf, so I think I'll tell family at 6/7 weeks if all goes well. Not sure.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 23/03/2013 15:27

Nope, not seen any posts from Sweetie, are you imagining it Sparks Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 23/03/2013 15:25
