Symptom spotting- a compilation

This is really just to pass the time of a 2ww. I can't test until at least Sunday and although I know I can't possibly detect any symptoms until at least then (or if not after), can you lot please come and tell me what "symptoms" you watch out for?

I've heard stuff about a runny nose, grumbly tum, headaches etc etc and my rational side knows that these would be either coincidental or just imagined at this stage- but would help me pass the time!

So, what vvv early pregnancy symptoms do you look out for?

Is pink spotting a sign? As opposed to red or brown blood. After doing the test yesterday and it being a BFN I noticed some spotting, very pale pink but def there. Put in a pad just in case the witch came early. Nope. Maybe I tested too early.

minicc · 24/03/2013 09:26

Feeling a little disappointed- can feel my period is coming today Hmm had what I thought was IB on cd 20 but alas, had more cramps and brown spotting today. Bleugh, it's sooooooooo unfair!

Meemawandmoonpie · 23/03/2013 16:06

Caved in too, BFN. Strange cause I still 'feel' different. Oh well. Onwards!

NathanDetroit · 23/03/2013 14:22

Sorry Bunny. :-(

Good luck Ruby, it's the first morning urine you need!

Symptoms seem to be coming and going here so we'll see. Regroup tomorrow!

x

Well, I caved in & tested today when I got home - BFN. But now I'm still thinking that I'll keep testing till AF starts. It's more than likely a no but I keep wondering if the POAS test wasn't sensitive enough (AF not due till Sunday) or whether drinking 3 litres of water today might have affected the result...!

agendabender · 22/03/2013 18:02

I'm out Sad AF over here. I'm completely shocked by how excited I got though! Maybe I'll try a serious conversation with DH about having a child on purpose!

IrnBruTheNoo · 22/03/2013 14:35

By checking an ovulation calendar, apparently my most fertile times are meant to be between 21st and 25th March. If I went by that logic then I'm either ovulating now or just about to.....

IrnBruTheNoo · 22/03/2013 14:33

I have irregular cycles TobyLerone. I don't ovulate at the same times every month unfortunately. It can happen at any time.

TobyLerone · 22/03/2013 13:27

If you're due on 10th April, would you even have ovulated yet? You might have a bug.

IrnBruTheNoo · 22/03/2013 11:44

AF due 10th April but I'm feeling more nauseous by the day. This is horrendous. Getting the cramps on and off.

CatPussInACrownOfThorns · 22/03/2013 11:03

Well I've got a funny taste in my mouth and I feel sick. AF not due for 7-10 days so might be pushing it a bit, even for me! Confused

Meemawandmoonpie · 22/03/2013 09:39

Ah and there was me thinking unquenchenable (sp?) thirst was just me! I can go all day on one glass of juice, I don't drink tea, coffee ( or much else... Yes, just like a camel) but yesterday at work I finished nearly 3 litres and just couldn't quench it. Now, couple that with the weird 3 hours of eyeball watering cramps mid month, the 2 episodes of dizziness and a slight tingly nip (just the one) I'm now thinking hmmmmm....

Bunnygirlie · 22/03/2013 08:18

Tummy pains this morning so the evil witch is def on her way, maybe early Sad

gilly86 · 22/03/2013 00:43

Hello Symptom spotters!

Im now 10dpo and all of a sudden have very watery CM.
It is NOT sticky... not thick... not white... just clear and watery! yesterday it was quite mucous-like (literally snotty SORRY TMI) all day and now its shifted and is really thin, clear and watery.

Whats that about!?

Getting a lot of twinges and buzzing/vibrating type feelings down below (odd!) which is pretty strange as well.... however AF is due very soon so it could just be AF on the way.

BankWuggery · 21/03/2013 22:58

Oh bad luck Bunny damn our effing periods.

Loved the link :)

Bit emotional here too. Both ds1and 2 being particularly cute and lovely at the mo, they are 8 and 4 and so desperate for a baby. They don't know about our plans of course but knowing how much they want another brother or sister is making me a bit weepy! Ond or other will ask at least once a week if we could "get another baby in our family". Waaaah! Tissues all round.

Wait & see Bunny, but that could mean all sorts. fingers crossed
Can I add unquenchable thirst and sense of smell to the list of symptoms. I really do wonder what's going on if it's not a BFP on Sunday. :-/ Good luck all, only three days to go...feels like i'm counting down the hours.

RubySlippers77 · 21/03/2013 22:06

Bunny - sorry to hear that - hopefully next month!!

Really hoping my tests turn up from Amazon tomorrow. If not I may have to go to Tesco and buy a cheap one, can't stand all this imagining/ experiencing symptoms any more without knowing for certain one way or another! After all without knowing I can't yet blame my general absentmindedness on baby brain.....

Bunnygirlie · 21/03/2013 21:49

I think I jinxed it by joining this thread, bit of pink cm this morn so AF is coming!!!!! Due Monday!!!

gilly86 · 21/03/2013 21:17

'Change in Colour of Your Vagina' LOLOLOL

Yup, it's gonna go green!

Shock
IamKuma · 21/03/2013 21:04

Just looked at that site and must say that 'Change in Colour of Your Vagina' was not something I was looking out for!!

Have started feeling quite emotional today and first sign of achy boobs... Will be quite miffed if I get a BFN..... Hmm could just be lead up to AF though, I suppose...

RubySlippers77 · 21/03/2013 08:10

I know what you mean about the peeing - can't decide if I'm doing it more often or if it's because I'm on the lookout for every sign I can!!

Today I'm back to feeling really tearful, which was what started me wondering about it in the first place; I felt very PMT-like (hormonal, sore boobs etc) only it was two weeks early! I may crack & test tonight, 3 days early but some peace of mind would be nice...

BankWuggery · 21/03/2013 00:50

Hi Bunny, Nathan and Kuma

There is going to be a POAS-athon on Sunday, the nations sewers will not know how to cope Grin

Have another "symptom" today- rubber nips. Happened with both my dc, my niploids turn to this very strange rubbery texture and didn't go back to normal until I stopped breastfeeding. Very strange. But I must admit I don't know whether they do this normaly before my period as I am not in the habit of checking my norks for rubber.

Toby - your light bulbs story did make me smile!! I am hopeless in that respect, have two lamps which I've had for a couple of months and still haven't managed to get the right bulbs for them!

I definitely have crampy pains and a dodgy tum, although I may have managed to poison myself with my own cooking rather than anything else.....

Can't decide if I'd be more upset to get a BFN (as I've only been with my DP for a few months and we haven't been TTC - it would be a surprise!) or scared to get a BFP Confused

Bunnygirlie · 20/03/2013 20:47

Hi y'all! Can I join in the fun? On day 25 of a 29 day cycle!
