Just finished a nightshift in very cold and snowy london so I'm off to sleep now!

Still no sign of AF for me.
Now cd30, 12dpo.

Feel like AF might turn up today though. We'll see! Hopefully not x

Congrats clare!!

I think I might be out, tiny bit of blood this morning when wiping (sorry tmi). Perhaps pmt was to blame for my mood! It's disappointing but also reassuring since I was starting to think there was something wrong with me. It's no where near full flow but don't think I convince myself that its implantation!

tony I'm 33 and TTC #1. Not sure if we want a Xmas baby, well I will rephrase that, I don't mind but DP doesn't want one then. Might have to wait until May to start again but we will see how good my powers of persuasion are!

Hi everyone, I've been deliberately staying away from this thread as I was determined to wait until AF actually late to test and knew this would just tempt me
As soon as I woke up this morning, ran to go and test and... BFP! Smile

Just got to hope this one sticks, last time I only had really faint lines and kept testing over and over until m/c at 6 weeks and the lines never seemed to get darker, this time very dark line, hoping thats a good sign!

I'm 35.

We're giving it until the end of this year and then we're giving up and going on a fab holiday instead. Then, when DD leaves home (she's 12), DH is taking a sabbatical from work and we're going travelling.

So it's a win/win, really!

I got buckets of supplements today. Maybe the down mood is in the air though because I just can't be bothered to do this right now. I'm looking at all of these tablets thinking do I really want to be popping pills and temping and all of this crap. What I wouldn't give to fall preg by accident again Sad

Maybe I should try in a year or so and go on some holidays and save some money and stuff. Am only 30

How old are you lot??

Hopefully tomorrow your mood will have lifted. I often find I'm worse at this time of night, probably because I'm tired. I'm usually more positive in the morning! Hope you feel better soon. Off to bed now and will be doing my new morning ritual of poas :)

my DH doesnt have a hugely high sex drive either but actually I think the more you have sex, the more you want it...

He's becoming increasingly more UP FOR IT and so am I... and not just because we are TTC....

Like I said, I think the more you have sex, the more you realise how awesome it is and want it more!

I don't know how any woman can't take it seriously. I envy those with a laid back approach and wish I could be more like them. It's not in my nature though unfortunately!

I think the fact DP hasn't got a very high sex drive (sorry if tmi) doesn't help me lol. i am the total opposite and want it all the time, even before TTC. i just feel that we waist my (expected) fertile week. Gonna have to seriously up my game next month if AF arrives lol. he agreed to me coming off the pill but i don't think he has any idea how seriously I'm taking it all.

My DH is VERY laid back as well...
We only recently got married and always said we would TTC once we got married however I'm definitely more into this than him! i think that's pretty normal though.

Dont get me wrong, he would be OVER THE MOON if I said I was pregnant.... but hes just very laid back about it and happy to wait as long as it takes or whatever...(as far as he's concerned it will happen eventually and thats fine....and he's enjoying all the extra sex!).... its nice in a way... i think if we were BOTH crazy like me then it would become more stressful.

Hahah frankykins ill have to turn the cake down, made 9 cupcakes today and ate 3....Blush It's what they call comfort eating :)

My mum had endometriosis and I'm now convincing myself I may have inherited it. Have been off pill 12 months and haven't had symptoms of it, I'm just being dramatic and unreasonable!

I'm pleased that there are similar people here who won't judge my crazy behaviour and thoughts, because they are going through the same thing :)

Thanks gilly & Penny I don't really feel i have anyone to talk to. DP is so laid back about it all. I know he doesn't feel as desperate about it as me as he already has two great DS's from a previous relationship. i've been waiting for 8 years to be in a position to TTC and now I'm already going crazy! It helps to have somewhere to come and talk to people who understand. i worry as well because my sister has PCOS and i know the pill can mask things like this.

oops there goes the second piece of cake. That's what i get for spending the day baking to take my mind off it all! offers ginger or carrot cake round

Awwww frankykins sorry you are feeling down. I am in the same boat and its horrible. I'm giving it until thurs and if still bfn and no AF I'm going to the doctors. I feel a bit silly but as the time passes I can tell I'm going to drive myself crazy so I need peace of mind that everything is ok.

I hope you get the result you want soon!

I think a few of us are feeling like that at the moment!

I THOUGHT I saw a faint line one on of my tests but I think it was my imagination! So frustrating.

Not letting it get me down... Ive been off the pill since december but only REALLY started trying this month so I'm classing this as my first cycle.

Our time will come!

I was trying to hold out POAS. until at least Monday. AF was due Thursday. however i gave in and POAS on Friday and to be perfectly honest I'm confused! Looked like a very very faint BFP hence POAS first thing sat morning but i think that one was BFN. No normal AF symptoms but im feeling very emotional Sad No idea what's going on! I was thinking as its only my second cycle off the pill it would take a good few months. i feel all over the place and just wanna cry if I'm honest. sorry for ranting/moaning.
