Newbies very welcome provided they meet the entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, must have a special pot, NO instadiffers) and bring a bouquet of sausages when they join!

Sorry should've quoted Happy about the up/down stuff.

Bunny, 33, married, 10 months TTC, just getting basic blood tests/jizz test for hubby, considering taking April off TTC.
Happy, 35, cycle 8. AF due 12th April. Rapidly running out of time to have a baby before my wedding next year!!
Sidney, 38, married, cycle 9, AF/BFP due 8th April. IC OPK newbie, will start temping next month if necessary bc I buckle under peer pressure & don't like feeling left out

Tallyra · 02/04/2013 21:07

Please could you add me as I'm on my phone and can't copy/paste?
Tallyra, 33, TTC since 2009, 3 mmc and possibly 1cp. waiting for mc specialist appointment still so not allowed TTC at the mo.Angry

SidneyBristow · 02/04/2013 21:06

Hey berries,
Slowly recovering from my Easter drinkfest. Why oh why! Sorry you fell into that trap too Frog. It's hard keeping envy under wraps, isn't it. How do you forget notes for a dr's appointment?? That would've sent me over the edge too.
Bunny I have days where I'm wildly excited about TTC, feel like every AF arrival just means that 'my baby' couldn't have been created by whatever egg/sperms that were in play last month, etc. Then I have days like today, where I've run after SKs all day, and have seen a million cute Easter outfitted friends'/relatives' kids on FB, and feel blue. It is awful. How anyone could get through this without feeling bad about it at least some of the time, is beyond me. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Oh, and happy, you're not alone with the fine one minute psycho a bit upset the next. Although I do seem a bit calmer at the moment. Don't know if it's the break from charting and PIMPing this cycle, so I'm not analysing it quite as much, or the fc appointment in 15 days so I'm just focused on that.

Boodle when you've made your list of questions would you mind sharing? I just know I'm going to walk out of that appointment and realise there was something I wish I'd asked!!

barkingtreefrog · 02/04/2013 20:10

cats please rant away about your teacher, get it all out Grin . At least if it is AF you might be back on track with your cycles?

merkin Hello! You ok?

frog that sounds unbearable Angry . I hate it when pg women don't seem bothered about it at all and don't take full care Sad .

Bunnygirlie · 02/04/2013 19:31

Oh gawd frog that would unbearable, a pregnant child in the family would drive me insane! I'm not surprised you stomped your feet!
happy glad I'm not the only one who loses the plot now and again, once I have gotten over the AF upset I'm usually fine but occasionally I just wanna scream and shout at how unfair it is!
Oh cats hope it isn't AF!
merk good to see you back, you ok?

CatsCantFlyFast · 02/04/2013 18:20

Hello people! Apologies for disappearing! I'm back (or I will be later once I've caught up). Hope you're all ok

Oh Cats, what a rubbish time you are having. I bet that job was rubbish really.

Boodle I have always had spotting, I only realised that it was anything abnormal since ttcing. A while back there was a spotters thread and all of us who have had been seen by fertility people were told it wasn't a problem, but no one really believed it. However, if we were all told the same thing then may be it is true.
Ultimately I know that my consultant has had a good poke around in there and tells me everything is in tip top condition other than my tubes, which are rubbish.

CharmingCats · 02/04/2013 14:16

[bubiscuit]s to you all.

just got a rejection letter for a job I liked the look of. At least they wrote.

I think AF is arriving. on the last two trips to the loo, i've had a tiny amount of brownish cm. I have very mixed feelings about this. Disappointment that I'm probably not pg and joy at seeing af for the first time since December. Also slight concern that this would signal a 10/11 day lp - but could just be down to the mad cycle, no?

I'm with you on feeling up and down about ttc. It can affect every aspect of your life. I really want to change jobs, but would rather not arrive somewhere pg or fall pg quickly. But hanging on just in case isn't helping either.
I may have to have a rant about my class teacher in a bit, as I'm not sure what to do about it.... [busad]

happylass · 02/04/2013 13:41

Yep Bunny I'm totally positive about the whole TTC thing 90% of the time. But then I'll have a total meltdown over the most insignificant of things. Was literally sobbing the other night watching a program that prepares men to become dads yet I watch OBEM all the time and it doesn't affect me!
Frog my chart is all over the place at the moment - white circles everywhere as I can't be arsed setting my alarm when I'm not in work. Plus I've slept in 5 different beds in the past week as we've been out and about on our travels!

Frogcatcher · 02/04/2013 13:14

Yep, all the time. Got v drunk (totally responsible in the 2ww obviously [bublush] on Sunday night as a coping mechanism of being at a DP's family dinner & his pg 18 year old niece being there. There was a load of joking about her getting fat & someone asked if she'd measured how round she was now (I think she's about 5 or 6m along). I thought that they did this at antenatal appts so asked her & she said that she had missed her last antenatal appointment as she forgot to take her notes so they wouldn't see her. How can someone that stupid/irresponsible be pg & not me? Cue the "it's not fair" stamping of feet when we get home.

Then yesterday we went to see my 92 year old grandad with dementia & my grandma & it made DP all soppy so that he says that one of the first things we have to do when we have a baby is to take it to see my grandad & grandma. Comments like that should upset me but somehow they don't as much.

Bunnygirlie · 02/04/2013 12:56

[busmile] [bugrin] [buwink] [bushock] [buhmm] [buconfused] [bublush] [buangry] [busad] [buenvy]

sorry just wanted to use them all before they went! lol

Bunnygirlie · 02/04/2013 12:54

Oh I don't do charting/temping so I feel left out (sits and sulks)

Heading back to work today was depressing, although at least it takes my mind off all this TTC malarchy! Anybodyelse feel fine one minute and then really pissed off the next?

Frogcatcher · 02/04/2013 12:49

Arrgh I'm rubbish with the link thing. Trying again below:

Frogcatcher · 02/04/2013 12:48

Here's my chart too:

Some promising dips no? Well they could be if there wasn't a total absence of BD on the crucial green days due to me not knowing when O would be & DP working late.

I finally conned got FF to give me crosshairs by changing the analyis method from advanced to research. I think it was getting fooled by all the negative OPKs that I wasted my time with took & lack of EWCM. Am slightly ashamed by all my open circles compared to everyone else who has a better set routine than me and/or is not as chronically lazy so sets an alarm to temp. Still despite that I don't think it's too bad for my first attempt! Must try harder next month as all you teachers might say!

Jealous of all your holidays (hola barking) - I'm at work this week even though DP & SS are off all week having fun Envy

Boodlebum · 02/04/2013 11:12

Ah yes, Pip, you've told me about that (re: spotting) before, but I'd forgotten! Although, what's your gut feeling about it? Do you truly believe it doesn't matter? It's just seems to me that it MUST have some significance. Something is changing 2 -3 days before AF kicks in and whatever that change is could, in theory, be a negative on in terms of TTC?

This is the problem with school holidays...too much time to think about stuff!

CharmingCats · 02/04/2013 09:53

Thanks pip. I bought the cbfm at Christmas but still waiting for cd1! Ive since read about charting, have more faith in that too, but I'm keen to wait til my next cycle, for a fresh start, as it were. Also ff chart is massive as I'm on cd 100+!!

Pipbin · 02/04/2013 09:42

You can start the CBFM off on any day up to CD 6.
Having tried all of the things I recommend charting and Internet cheapy opks.

CharmingCats · 02/04/2013 09:21

Poor tallydog. Our cat was miserable with her bandage on. She managed to get out of the cat flap as the other one was coming ing, dunk her bandage in a puddle and get it off when it was wet. She left it n the garden table.

If af does not arrive this coming weekend, I will start charting. Do you think I could trick the cbfm into thinking it was cd1 too?

I love love love school holidays! But it does always mean that I have to wait in for things to get done in the house or be delivered. Today the boiler is being serviced.....

Tallyra · 02/04/2013 08:53

I'll join in with the chart sharing. I've had a stupid morning already, Sep.ding the last hour trying to settle the dog for a bit after he shredded his bandage last night and obviously spent half the night licking his cut foot. Confused

Pipbin · 02/04/2013 01:04

That said Boodle I asked about spotting and was told that it made no difference.

Boodlebum · 02/04/2013 00:21

I've had a few charts with noticeable dips around 5 -6 DPO. Quite early for a dip though, from what I can gather. Anyway, I don't expect anything to come of it, even if it is; spotting usually starts on 6-7 DPO and I doubt that's enough time for anything to get properly settled in.

If they decide to chuck clomid at me, I think I'll ask about whether the tubes need checking first/at some point. I need to sit down and make lots of notes so I'm ready to make the most of that appointment.

Pipbin · 02/04/2013 00:14

Could be implantation Boodle 6dpo is about right.
You mention spotting, I have to say that I used to get dreadful spotting, from about 5 DPO but I've not had any since my lap and dye.

As for Clomid, they talked about putting me on it but they decided to check my tubes first as there is no point oving if egg and sperm wont meet.
