Newbies very welcome provided they meet the entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, must have a special pot, NO instadiffers) and bring a bouquet of sausages when they join!

OMG peanut that is hilarious! Knitted boobies!!!!!!!!!!!

Frogcatcher · 06/04/2013 16:54

Good to see you merk and sorry you're having such a rough time. Glad you could share in RL too.

Glad bunnycat is better - DP's one here is stressed according to the vet. Yet another thing that is my fault apparently for moving in with my two.

the knitted boob!

Still no sign of AF on CD32 but a tiny bit of spotting today & some weird twinges right in my bits if you know what I mean. I veer between hope & fear right now as I am now officially late. I'm not pimping yet tho as if FF is right then I could only be 11DPO. I just can't bear another BFN. Anyway last night DP was being such an arse that I was almost hoping I wasn't pg!

BombasticPeanut · 06/04/2013 14:25

Haha the dog loves it. Wait, I'll try and work out pictures.. here you go Dog loves boobie

In my defence, it's part of my midwhiffy paraphernalia. I don't have a woolly bosom fetish Grin

happylass · 06/04/2013 14:18
Hmm
Thundercatsarego · 06/04/2013 14:08

Eh? A knitted boob?

BombasticPeanut · 06/04/2013 13:49

Oh, my life would be so complete if I had knitted mice in it. Although I do have a knitted boob.

Thundercatsarego · 06/04/2013 11:29

haycorn am impressed with your early start- I'm still in bed!

barking stop MNing and get sewing!

haycorn · 06/04/2013 11:06

Morning all! After a lovely long walk with dog and DH in the gorgeous sunshine (very exciting to discover it does still exist) I am now planning on spending my day trying to make the bedroom curtains we've been needing since moving in a year ago. God I love the holidays! Sorry happylass, but I will be sharing your sorrows next week.

barkingtreefrog · 06/04/2013 11:01

thunder I've got one more foot to knit, then have to sew and stuff, will put a photo up if I get them done in time!!!!

Thundercatsarego · 06/04/2013 10:57

Hi everyone,

Been a bit AWOL recently as have been lying low since this whole thyroid thing happened. Feeling brighter now altho trying not to think about not being in with a chance of conceiving just now.

barking hand knitted mice sound amazing- any chance of a pic?

BookTart · 06/04/2013 09:57

Have fun at the wedding frog! Today I will be hoovering up all the catnip on my front room floor and obsessively checking for AF maybe I'll tidy up a bit. Maybe.

Bunnygirlie · 06/04/2013 09:48

Hello! Lunch for my aunties birthday today, my pusscat seems better today so that's good. No DTD today, hubby too tired, aren't they rubbish lol

happylass · 06/04/2013 09:35

Today I'll be busy doing sod all my lesson planning for next week. Very Envy of all you teacher berries who have another week off!
Did two 6 mile walks and an intense Pilates class in the space of 4 days this week and am in agony and literally struggling to walk today so may go back to bed for a bit! Been seriously slacking on the exercise front lately so it's my own fault for being so damn lazy!

barkingtreefrog · 06/04/2013 08:30

What's everyone up to today then? I've got a wedding to go to, and two knitted bride and groom mice to finish beforehand! As well as shopping for a belt for my DP (he's best man and only last night realised he'd need a belt as the one he ordered online hadn't arrived). And walking the dog of course. Could have done with a lie in but woke up at 7!! Got the groom staying here so cooked breakfast this morning to see him through!!

happylass · 06/04/2013 07:20

Oh and there is a thread on here about women who have become pg after being sterilised (ffs!) so we should have no problem!!

happylass · 06/04/2013 07:01

Welcome back Merks. So sorry you are feeling down. As awful as last month was for you it has at least proved that you can get pg which is surely half the battle. Every day on here I read about ladies who get upduffed after 8, 12, 16 cycles or much, much longer. We all will get our babies of that I'm sure. And when we do this hideous journey will have been so, so worth it! Having said that I completely understand your despair, I'm sure we've all been there. Take care of yourself and rant at us all you want! (((Hugs)))

barkingtreefrog · 06/04/2013 00:26

You just need to pull yourself through this month merk you sound very down Sad .

CatsCantFlyFast · 05/04/2013 23:59

pip why'd you say that? Tonight is my last chance of a baby pre me being 32 and 2 years since I came off the pill. I have great faith in everyone gradding before me!

Pipbin · 05/04/2013 23:54

You'll get your BFP before me Merk.

CatsCantFlyFast · 05/04/2013 23:33

DH has not been great, I just don't think he 'gets it'. I did talk to a really good friend (while drunk) but felt v guilty as she desperately wants kids, is older than me and not in a relationship. I've been off everything, including DTD, since last month, but realised O was tomorrow or Sun today and suddenly got a bit panicky. However I feel very detached, like half panic and half 'well it would only be BFN anyway', its hard to explain. I get upset realising by Xmas I still won't have a baby.
Anyways I am sorry for disappearing, have missed you all. Will have a read back tomorrow, looking forward to catching up. Thanks to you all for being amazing, understanding and simply lovely. When you all get your Bfps and I'm left here on my own dusting the cobwebs I shall tell fables about you all WinkGrin

Cate It's this one I've got and others have recommended.

Bunnygirlie · 05/04/2013 23:22

Hope you are well merk we missed you!

barkingtreefrog · 05/04/2013 23:22

Not me merkin.
I don't usually get much EWCM, hence loving the preseed, but got lots this week - while camping and not dtd. Bloody typical.
Are you totally switched off dtd as well as everything else this cycle? Is DH being helpful and supportive while you're feeling a bit out of it after last month? Hope you've got someone in RL to talk to.

CatsCantFlyFast · 05/04/2013 22:33

I am moons behind but was it you cats or barking who was waiting for AF and FF said O had happened??

cate other tips... Take temp at the same time every day, or at worst 30
Mins before you wake up. So if you normally get up at 7 set your alarm for 6 or 6.30, take your temp then get another half an hours sleep! To help with that, get a thermometer with a memory function (the baby mad one has one) so your routine goes alarm, shove thermometer in mouth and turn on, snooze til the beeps go off, turn it off and throw it on the floor and go back to sleep, wake up, turn it on and view memory and record temp on app. The main two things you need to know other than that are about getting it in te same place in your mouth every day (aim for a heat pocket which you can google) and doing NOTHING between waking and taking your temp. Not even thinking for 30 seconds!!
May have cross posted but I know how lost I felt when I first started out...
