Entrant criteria: TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, OPK & EWCM obsession, NO instadiffers. (Thread 6)

If you O'd on CD13 you'd now be 9dpo, how long is your LP normally? Could temps be coming down for AF?
I'm going to assume FF isn't putting your crosshairs at CD13 purely because your 2 temps on CD11 and 12 are open circles. I'm going to hazard a guess that if you change the time on these temps (so they're not open circles) that your crosshairs will move...in which case your only dip post coverline would be today (implantation??). Was it you that was ill mid cycle??

Thunderbuns · 12/03/2013 20:16

Hey raining, I've been a bit meh recently so have hidden myself away a bit. Cautiously peeking out of hibernation nest now- metaphorically at least. Physically I'm not budging from under this duvet.

How are you?

Itsalwaysraining · 12/03/2013 20:15

Anyone seen Boodle?

Itsalwaysraining · 12/03/2013 20:14

Happy, I think you have ovulated; I'm sure your temp will pick up tomorrow. You may simply have had a fallback rise which just means you had a random surge of oestrogen (causing the temporary fall in progesterone).

Itsalwaysraining · 12/03/2013 20:11

Hiya, Thunder, how the hell are you?

Thunderbuns · 12/03/2013 20:02

Hi all. Am creeping out if hibernation to say hello. I have no idea about these charts so not a lot to add. Maybe I can be the refreshment trolley?

happylass · 12/03/2013 19:58

Hehe Raining I haven't a clue and neither it seems does FF! Was hoping one of you lovely ladies could enlighten me! Have been ill though and this is a highly irregular chart. I think I OVd on Cd13 and the rise on cd14 is where the cross hair should be. Either that or I haven't OVd at all this month. Am usually regular as clock work!

Itsalwaysraining · 12/03/2013 19:55

Yes, Happy! We can see your chart! What the frig are your post-ov temps playing at? Shock

happylass · 12/03/2013 19:52

titting not twitting!

happylass · 12/03/2013 19:51

Can you see it now?? my chart

If not I'm gonna give up as wasted way too much time on this and going to have a very grumpy DP on my hands when he comes home and realises there's no dinner because I've been twitting about on here all night!

CatsCantFlyFast · 12/03/2013 19:47

bunny i would say no, provided your apps are letting you track all the things you want to (symptoms, DTD, OPKs etc etc)

CatsCantFlyFast · 12/03/2013 19:46

Nope happy that link shows me mine. If the link is the right one it will not end with "chartgraph_module.php" but instead will end with a random group of numbers and letters.

Alternatively, click sharing then get code then copy and paste the simple link but you only want the bit between the square brackets and you should delete the square brackets and the bit that says "url="

If you can paste any of the links from the get code part without showing alternative text (ie so I can see all of the text you have copied and pasted without it saying "this" or "chart" or whatever) then i can sort the proper link out for you

CatsCantFlyFast · 12/03/2013 19:42

Happy use "send an email" and email the link to yourself then copy and paste from there

happylass · 12/03/2013 19:39

Can you see my chart??

Bunnygirlie · 12/03/2013 19:32

I already use 2 apps, do I bother using ff if I'm not temping?!?

OP posts:
happylass · 12/03/2013 19:27

Nope. Can't seem to do it . Found the sharing bit Merkin but doesn't seem to want to copy and paste?

Itsalwaysraining · 12/03/2013 19:21

Merkin, too much evidence points towards you having ov'd on CD18: fertile cm dried up, also the six previous temps to ov being lower than the three post-ov.

CatsCantFlyFast · 12/03/2013 19:19

So results of my tests with FF (sorry for the delay, had a minor kitchen chaos incident)...
So it was set on advanced with O at CD18 and coverline of 36.18
If I set it to OPK it gives O at CD19 (as expected) and removers coverline
If i set it to research it gives CD18 (as before, with same coverline)

ILoveMyCats · 12/03/2013 19:15

poor lady. So hard to think that joy can turn like that. I've been thinking these past few days that I'm not sure what I'd do with an actual child now. so focussed on conceiving that the reality of having a small person in my house feels odd.

CatsCantFlyFast · 12/03/2013 19:14

Happy I couldn't find out how to do it from my phone app, however if you go on the website (on your phone/ipad) one of the links at the top (ish) right (above your data/chart) is "sharing" and you can get the link from there

Raining i was wondering if i could have had 2 surges, and just didn't get a +OPK on the later surge as I wasn't peeing on them at that point.

Frogcatcher · 12/03/2013 19:12

Ah I've only started charting this cycle Raining so it probably just hasn't had a chance to figure me out yet. Such sad news you shared - puts things in perspective really that TTC is only half of it Sad

Itsalwaysraining · 12/03/2013 18:57

You are, however, quite correct in assuming FF doesn't trust us mere mortals

Itsalwaysraining · 12/03/2013 18:56

Frog, if your timing of temps is particularly shit erratic, FF will actually re-set your default time to that which appears most often. It will, however, only do this after five episodes of a change in temp.

happylass · 12/03/2013 18:55

Oh that poor lady Rain. Heartbreaking to think we could be going through all this just for it to end so awfully Sad

Can I share my FF chart from my phone/iPad? If so, how?? Using FF for the first time this month though been charting for a while. Crosshairs seem to move every day. No idea if I've OVd or not. Would like a second opinion.

Frogcatcher · 12/03/2013 18:43

In a particularly bored moment today I tried the FF chart analysis game & it always seem to go for the temp surge as the major indicator of O on that. I reckon they don't trust anyone's ability to POAS/PIMP correctly & analyse the lines so take a computer algorithm over any kind of human input! My chart has some "open circles" for no apparent reason but a solid one where the temp was 3 hrs later than normal. Go figure...
