raining eurgh I could not learn to live with too long nails. Ew. Mine equivalently disgusting OH habit is not flushing the loo most mornings (he seems to go pre shower and then forgets to flush). Enough to make me puke regardless of the contents

Oooh, can I tell a random story to you all? It was probably the highlight of my day (which will depressingly reveal how crap a day I've actually had).

I was driving home and I approached an island where the exit I need requires middle lane, but lots of people cut in by using the quieter right hand lane. I was just about to go when a smug arse sped down the right and onto the island at the same time as me. Anywaaays, he tried to speed ahead to cut me up, only to find a police car waiting at the exit before mine. He had to slow down, give up and go around (the biiiiiiig island) again. Mwaaaaaa ha haaaaaaa! Knob.

I love moments like that!

It's what we're here for, Cats! That and the fact that we all seem to have stubborn bodies that wilfully deny our every attempt to get impregnated.

Who was it that mentioned recently that they get obsessive tidiness as a PMS symptom? I think I get that too; I was reflecting on it this week and I've definitely been more annoyed with DH and his slovenly ways in the run up to AF.

Merkin, my comment to Cats about leaving her fella was tongue-in-cheek However, I do believe that we settle for all this shit when we agree to live with our other halves. I just don't see the point in haranguing them for traits which should have been apparent from the beginning of the relationship

I agree with all of you! also loving the egg store cupboard. And boodle, my DH does all of those things too, so you're right. And I too have used the teacher voice and face at home and hate it. Have tried to chill out about the afore mentioned chores etc, and for the most part, I have, but it just got to me today.
Thanks for listening and offering your experiences. It's so good to know it's not just me and that your houses are much the same.
