Entrant criteria: TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, OPK & EWCM obsession, NO instadiffers. (Thread 6)

You should see how teeny my ff chart is! It's illegible. My theory about doubling my last two cycles have proved unfounded. Cd86 and no af.

Tmi question from me too. Does ewcm have to be really stretchy, or is a centimetre enough??

Bunnygirlie · 13/03/2013 22:24

TMI question, is it obvious or do you have to go looking for it? Maybe I don't have any Sad

I have had some very interesting EWCM in the past but not taken any notice of it, so I'm going to look out for it this cycle and see how everything fits in. you guys have taught me so much about my own body that no one else has done. of course, is not really something that people talk about face to face...

Boodleandherpotofwonderfulness · 13/03/2013 22:21

In the spirit of sharing, Pip, I get that too...but I only ever see it once a month, after a loo trip! It's really annoying...kinda makes me want to shove it back in...

(I recall sharing this information before...)

Pipbin · 13/03/2013 22:19

Honest, I get tonnes of the stuff.
You know when you crack an egg and you get that stringy bit that stays stuck to the shell? Well it's like that!

Bunnygirlie · 13/03/2013 22:15

Woah pip I don't even notice any at all!

OP posts:
Boodleandherpotofwonderfulness · 13/03/2013 22:08

Pip...my favourite statistic of the day goes to your four inch long EWCM!

Boodleandherpotofwonderfulness · 13/03/2013 22:07

Tally, it probably won't mean much, full stop. I must admit, my relationship with my thermometer is something akin to Merkin's with her OPKs; I'm always sticking it under my tongue at random times, just to see what's happening!

Anyway, I find that my temperature in the evening can swing by the best part of an entire degree. Similarly, I can get a sky high temperature just before bed and then wake to find them falling through the floor as AF arrives.

The only way you can get an accurate idea is to take basal temperature, i.e. the temperature of your body as soon as you wake. Don't even sit up! Just shove that thermometer in your mouth!

Sorry if you already know this and I'm preaching to the converted newly-initiated but well-prepared!

SidneyBristow · 13/03/2013 22:04

Fantastic news Barking! Having warm & fuzzy visions of a nurse-led clinic where they give you a cookie & a cup of tea and get right down to business.

Boodle you might be surprised, they might welcome your phone call, you've obviously been waiting ages and as long as you're polite & asking for help rather than coming across all aggro then they'll probably be happy to sort things out for you. Or is that incredibly naive?

Merkin how can you stand it; the suspense is going to kill me! So exciting!!

Pipbin · 13/03/2013 22:04

Evening ladies.

Well I had another positive OPK today, even stronger than yesterday, but DH is full of cold and I don't fancy my chances of dtd tonight. I'm just going to have to hope that the weekend was enough. I do get a ridiculous amount of ewcm so there is a chance of them just chilling out up there. I had ewcm that was 4 inches long today!

Tallyra · 13/03/2013 22:02

Is the onesie nice and warm? We've been burning our log burner all day but the living room is only just warm...

Tallyra · 13/03/2013 22:00

I tested my new thermometer! So, as of today, cd1, my temp is 36.33, as taken at a random time just before dinner.
I take it that means nothing at all without others to compare it to though?

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/03/2013 21:59

I'm back bringing a spare onsie for Boodle!

Boodleandherpotofwonderfulness · 13/03/2013 21:58

(See...this is why I don't go swimming in real life...)

Boodleandherpotofwonderfulness · 13/03/2013 21:58

Oh my goodness. I've traumatised Tally! I'm so sorry! Please come back! Wink

Boodleandherpotofwonderfulness · 13/03/2013 21:57

It's alright, Bunny, it was actually a flesh coloured body stocking. I didn't want to admit it, but it's that which gets my husband's engine revving!

Tallyra · 13/03/2013 21:56

hellooooo!

Walks in to find a naked Boodle. Stops. Turns around and walks out again in silence.

Two cross-posts. Hmmm. Not bad! Hello Bunny (and hello Merkin in 10!)

Boodleandherpotofwonderfulness · 13/03/2013 21:47

Boodle calls out into the emptiness: HELLLLOOOOOO?

HELLLOOOOO, helloooooo, hello... echoes back at her.

Boodle realises everyone has cleared off to watch OBEM, so she disrobes and does the sausage shuffle around the room, enjoying the liberating sensation of being au naturel.

This is a cunning ploy to tempt fate and find that you have all come back to cross-post with me.

Incidentally, going back to the conversation earlier, this is pretty much all I have to do to get DH in the mood for DTD. I don't know if he's unimaginative or just a complete perv'.

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/03/2013 21:47

I'm aroun but watching Obem... Back in 10!

Bunnygirlie · 13/03/2013 21:45

Nobody around tonight?

Barking, the doctors have rung on my behalf and the hospital said that they thought my appointment would be mid-April and that a letter would be along shortly. That was a week ago so I'm really really hoping to hear something this week.

I have had a look for a direct number but I couldn't find anything online. I'm going to hold out until next week as I don't want to piss them off by pestering before I've even had an appointment!

barkingtreefrog · 13/03/2013 21:12

I thought of you straight away Boodle, you should have got yours first Sad.
Fx they're just rubbish at getting letters out and you've not got long to wait for the actual appointment. I'd give them a ring direct if it was me. When DP was waiting for his letter for his SA appointment and I was getting impatient I rang the hospital and they looked through the records at whether his letter had been written and they couldn't tell me the appointment over the phone but they confirmed the letter had been written and had been put in the post the day before (it then arrived the next day).

Boodleandherpotofwonderfulness · 13/03/2013 20:55

Evening!

Major sulk over here - where's my referral letter?! It's not fair! Barking, only half-serious! I'm very pleased for you but seriously narked with my local hospital.

Merkin, you are a PIMP extraordinaire. Do you think you will do as much OPKing once you start the job?! (People might think you're a little bit odd if you keep wandering off to the loo with a GU pot.)
