Hmmm JUST did an OPK and the line is probably thicker and slightly darker than its been all month... Still not a big fat dark positive like last month but I dunno....I'm going to take a test to work and do it again this afternoon and see if it gets any darker...
Me and DH are going out for some drinkies tonight and both off work tomorrow so that would be convenient if I'm about to ov! Lots of dtd

Bbt is still low low low so ov hasn't happened yet for sure.

I'm now on cd23 and still no bbt rise or positive OPK

I had to have a wee at 3am and had another at 7am. Decided to poas because my boobs are still sore. 5 mins later, If I hold it to the light and squint there is a line thats shadow like. I could be imagining it couldn't I? I'm driving myself crazy! I'm 11 dpo

I'm not watching it til tomorrow. Will have to steer clear of the whole Internet!

Managed Saturday,...but Sunday didn't quite work out. Poor DP. He really tried, but we gave up eventually. He's away for a few days now. Oh well,...alright then. I had hoped smiley face would wait until later this week, but I appear to have ovulated yesterday or today instead. Chances not terribly high, so I'll wait for AF now to try again next month. I'll try and get used to the idea that perhaps a baby for my birthday wouldn't be a bad thing either.

gilly Quite possibly everything is fine with you. Bodies just seem to throw all sorts of random behaviours at you when you ttc. I know mine does.

Cd 14 for me. I usually ovulate around day 16/17 which is fine but today had bit of blood when I went to the loo! eeks! What's that all about?!

Aw gilly try not to worry too much, it took me 10 months to conceive dd and I obsessed over the whole process which caused me a lot of stress! It seemed that when I decided to relax I got my BFP.

You know when someone gets a line on pg sticks and everyone says a line is a line? Surely this is the case with opk's? Lets assume so and think positive thoughts.

I reckon that some months ov is obvious and others its not. I had different ov symptoms last month to the ones I had this month. Same goes with AF symptoms, differ month to month occasionally.

Congrats sorelip and lisba! Fantastic news! We're averaging one bfp every other day which is a great pace!

Can't believe it's monday already! I followed up my gym session yest with booking myself into zumba tonight for 1st time!

I'm already trying to adopt that same frame of mind actually...
Assume this month was a weird one... Look forward to this cycle being over and done with....and focus on next cycle (whilst secretly hoping I will be surprised and get a BFP!)

All kinds of worries popping into my head like whether I'm not ovulating at all... Maybe I have other problems... Maybe even DH has problems too... TTC is exciting but also a bit stressful for me...

Just going to have to relax I think... Somehow...!

This might not be a helpful suggestion, but how about you just focus on the end of this month. Then you'll know for sure either way, and can either start again or (hopefully) have your BFP! I'll hold your hand and do the same :)

Could you even stop temping for this month, or would it mess up your charts? Just assume this one was a weird month, have a and hopefully be surprised by a BFP and not have to start again next month.

I'm feeling a bit worried and anxious this morning... Cd22 and still no bbt rise
Still don't even know if I've really had a positive OPK this month... Lots of lines last week but I wouldn't class at of them as positives (unlike last month where I had very obvious positives on cd17 and cd18)

Not sure what's going on... Combined with the fact that I had a small amount of blood on cd10... I'm feeling worried and a bit sad!

Last month I'm sure I ovulated.. Lots of EWCM and positive OPKs...
This month = nothing

The excitement is kicking in now and DH has gone off to work with a spring in his step and a new incentive to work extra hard! I am working from home today and am going to have to work really hard to motivate myself to do anything other than get excited and muck about on mn!

Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting for sticks to pee on. I might go and have a little look at the December anti-natal thread and hope to see you guys over there soon (am sure I will still be lurking on this thread too though!).

As for ironing, own an iron but i only iron the odd garment that really needs it , tumble drier does the job for me

It seems you guys were right to wait a bit longer - just tested again and bfp!!

very excited although first reaction is relief for having done the wee i was busting for since 3.30am - i lasted until 5am before thinking i would pop! Luckily Dh forgave me for waking him in the middle of the night!

feel a but guilty for having wine in Saturday night after Saturday morning's neg test result, but i suppose there's not much i can do about that now. Health kick starts in earnest now!

The secret to my success? It seems to be:

1. Only have sex once during the fertile period
2. Decide you don't want any (more) children for now
3. Do a test to confirm that you are NOT pregnant so you can go on the pill again
4. Get a BFP and have a mini panic attack.

Obviously I don't recommend any of these steps.

As for ironing, I own an iron but not an ironing board. Ergo, no ironing is done.

Good luck for May champagne, science and anyone else I've forgotten. Ela - best of luck- I may be in a similar situation soon and am dreading having to make a decision. FX this is my month! sorelip - congrats, let us know the secrets of your success!
As for the ironing, penny I can't believe you've done an hour! We do iron some things but not everything. My mum on the other hand, irons her knickers, tea towels, dishcloths...

We are just back from our 'babymoon' planned to get ttc off to a good start. According to my app, I should be ovulating today and have dtd ever day since af left so fx we should be in with a good chance this month. We're not stopping yet though as I have a short cycle so I expect I probably ov later than my app predicts. Im really hoping for a good few more bfp's this week.
Jellybean- my DH also finds the shorthand intriguing and we have started using it when discussing ttc so as to avoid too much interest from the dc's.
