I haven't been kicked off the march bus YET...... just looking in the window of the April bus and waving to the ladies I know!!!

AF is due in the next few days and I'm not feeling hopeful so please save a nice seat for me in case I need to hop on soon....

AF just arrived for me, as I knew she would given there was no DTD last month!! My cycle seems to be getting shorter - was 22days this time. This scares me that I am not actually in a cycle long enough to get pg. Before DD my cycles were every 25days, and I know I managed to conceive with her, but I am worried that the decreasing length is going to make it harder with #2. Hmmm. Must try not to worry as I sent myself doolally in cycle1! Need to gear myself up for lots of shagging from Monday onwards (means starting while still have AF - not my favourite idea, but guess I need to keep an open mind in the name of TTC!). Positive Mental Attitude and all that jazz for this month!

Dtd in the end but definitely having a night off tonight think I'm definitely in the 2ww now FX!!!

A pos opk means you are about to ov as it detects the surge that releases the egg. Meant to be 12-36 hours after seeing the positive so you've prob ov by now. But no harm in dtd again if you want to :)

bajas definitely feel like I need a night off. I've never had ewcm either!!!

AW Padster :( drink grapefruit juice too to try and boost ewcm (and feel as though you're in control of something!)

Bajas ewcm is usually a sign youre in your fertile period, so probably due to ov soon. Get DTD! :)

Wardy good going! I think youre fine to have the night off :) DTD tomorrow and then keep fx.

I'm cd13 and dh is away for 2 weeks on Friday so will DTD tonight tomorrow and hopefully squeeze one in Fri before he goes.

I'd say That's a good run. You might need a night off...

Hey, I got positive OPKs on Sunday and Monday and we've done the deed Friday, sat, sun, mon and tue! Do you think I need to continue doing the dtd or can I have a night off?

Hurrah. Have just spotted ewcm for first time in 7 cycles. Does this mean I'm definitely ovulating? Does it mean I'll ovulate today or have already or will in next couple of days? Sorry for the plethora of questions! Am v excited as this is the first indication I've had that we might be in with a chance! Cd10 so I now think I should be hoping for bfp on/ around 3rd April. Does that make sense?

Or do you mean you're getting nothing on an opk?

padster that's rubbish! Have you tried any of the sperm friendly lubes? They mimic ewcm and you could use it on DH to try and help him get jiggy?! I know my DH likes it!

OPK is ovulation predictor kit. You pee on a little stick and it tests the luteinising hormone in your pee. I bought 20 off Ebay for abour £2. wardy from the extensive obsessive reading i've done I think the LH surges 12-36 hours before you actually ovulate. Best time to do the shagging is day before you get the positive, the day of the positive and couple of days after??? So if you are expecting AF 31st March that gives you a usual luteal phase of 13-14 days which is the best you can hope for. Mine is 11days which I think isn't great as the uterus lining can start to break down for AF before the little egg even gets there
threeknights the OPK tells you that LH is surging which happens before you ovulate but you can also take your basal temperature (temp first thing in the morning before you get out of bed). Temp rises a day or so after you have ovulated (so by then if you haven't been doing the business you have probably missed your chance). Do you get ovulation pains? I know I am ovulating as can feel it and usually pee on a stick just to double check.

Hi everyone...can I get on the April bus? Was convinced I was upduffed this month to the point that I actually mis-read a pee stick and it wasn't until my DH pointed out that both boxes needed a line, realised I was not pregnant...then AF arrived with a vengeance today, boiatch.
So...feeling slightly stupid and cautious, I am hopping aboard the April bus brandishing brie, coffee, shellfish and red wine.

Can someone tell me what OPK is and also is there any way of understanding when you are ovulating other than using a kit?

Got positive OPK Sunday and Monday. This morning was negative. Does that mean I've ovulated already or about to? Also if I'm just about to and my AF is due 31st March that means I have a short lp doesn't it?

Yesterday I had some happy news that my friend was 12 weeks pregnant and awaiting her scan next week (got pregnant for #1 cycle 1!) but then today she had some bleeding so was given an early scan and sadly the little one had died. It's so awful. She is having erpc tomorrow.

Re. folic acid I've read that if someone consistently takes more than the rda for a long time then there are certain side effects. Psychotic episodes was one of them!

I've not had mid-cycle spotting either so can't comment. Def could not be implantation bleeding???

I should be ovulating today or tomorrow (only have 11 day luteal phase) but no sign of +opk yet. This is my first cycle of doing temps and annoyingly I feel like I am getting the flu. This morning my temp was 37.9! Yesterday when I felt well it was 36.2! (I only have one with one decimal place- does that matter?) So it looks like I'll have to scrap the temping this month after the anomalies around when I should be ovulating and try it next month. Though of course I am hoping next month it will not be necessary!

We have both been taking pregnacare conception vits since last AF and started using preseed lube for DTD this week

flowers I had real issues with mid cycle spotting, mine was every month tho not just a one off. I took vit b6 and progesterone cream to stop mine.

CD5 for me and I think that I will try and keep away from this thread/board as I get incredibly stressed with this whole TTC process. Doesn't help that my sis fell pregnant on her first cycle.
