Well I am dusting down the drivers seat and kick starting the April bus for those the BFP fairy missed on the lucky Mad March bus. Fingers crossed the destination for this one is 'Baby Central'.

Good luck choc!

Gilly what vits does DH take?

chocoloulou33 · 26/03/2013 21:21

Lol wardy I was meant to say 'I try not to do it as much' not telling u not too haha. Sorry hun. U test as often as u like hun how r we all this evening? I'm v happy as just had dd parents evening & she is doing so well I am so proud Grin
We need to get the first bfp on that list. Looks so sad as a big fat zero! I'll be testing sat & am soooo scared. Don't wanna go onto cycle 8. Want it to be this month sooo bad x

WanabeMum · 26/03/2013 20:56

Aw gilly that's so nice, really important for dh to be on board and supportive! Makes a huge difference to me when I have my mad moments Blush

Lets hope Easter is a good time for all of us! Smile good luck everyone.

Anyone give me an idea of when I should poas? I'm kind of hopeful but don't want to waste tests. Never get sore boobs, ever, so my imagination mind is getting the better of me!

gillywillywoo · 26/03/2013 20:50

Haha penny it's nice when the men get into it too Smile
My DH was saying today he wants to buy a new car... Then he said "actually I want a baby first... Car can wait"... I was so happy cos it was actually the first time he mentioned having and wanting a baby without me talking about it first!
He's on the multivitamins too Smile

Cd2 for me and I'm excited too.. Let's see what this month brings! It's Easter after all.. New life! New beginnings! Wink

Penny31 · 26/03/2013 20:42

Oooooh I wonder who will be our first BFP! Good luck everyone :)

Penny31 · 26/03/2013 20:42

Dp wasn't keen on a Xmas/new year baby but I've convinced him it doesn't matter when we have a baby as long as we try to get one! He wants to take vitamins like me, he is into this as much as I am now! Yey :) only cd3 for me but still I'm excited to get going again lol

WanabeMum · 26/03/2013 20:33

Hi everyone! I have no idea when AF is due so not sure when to poas Confused thanks to the lovely mirena coil I had no periods! Had it removed on 14th march so only just 2 weeks of dtd! Will have to wait until AF so I can time it next month.
Sounds like we have more symptom spotting going on, which is a lovely distraction for me (I know it's not really possible but I must try! )Smile
I have very sore boobs today and some twinges so thinking my hormones are all over the place Sad

ELA88 · 26/03/2013 20:03

bajas I'm always having vivid baby dreams! The other night I had such a vivid pregnancy dream that when I woke up I was sure I'd poas in the night! I came home from work today to a Next baby catalogue so had a rant at the post! Another cruel reminder of no BFP!! Only 2 more days left at work though Grin xx

Bajas · 26/03/2013 19:01

Reckon I'll poas around the 10th. Find the hope kills me if I try too early with crazy cycles so will try to hold out until then.

Had really vivid dream that I'd had a baby last night. Am hoping that's a sign!

marie456 · 26/03/2013 18:59

Updated list again as realised my stats are wrong. I ovulated earlier this month than I was expecting so with my short luteal phase I'm due 31st March/1st April. Dont want to get back on the March bus at this late stage, so I'll stay here if that's ok?! Plus if it's a BFN then my next AF will still be due at end of April! Going to poas saturday morning I think!

wanabemum there is no way to distract yourself!!!

MrsAVB glad your arm pit pain has gone! Grin

dutchy EBay great for cheap OPKs. About 20 for a few quid.

pistachio I will its just soooo hard!!! And because DH leaves for work before me in the mornings it's so easy to be sneaky!!!

PistachioTruffle · 26/03/2013 18:07

Thanks for the vibes choco, I need all that I can get!! A Christmas baby would be really lovely!

MRs, ooh that's a tough one! Good luck with your application, is it a job you really want? Fertility friend has changed it's mind and told me AF is due on the 5th, so I might be naughty and test on the 4th. I hate having long cycles, if I had a 28 day cycle (as I used to before taking the pill etc, grrrr) I could test tomorrow, unfortunately not though!

Wardy, step away from the pee sticks! Grin

weechops · 26/03/2013 12:22

I hate the 2ww! I get totally obsessed with symptoms even though I swear I won't every time. Gah! 4dpo and my phantom symptom of the day is sore boobs. I know, I know it's too early for anything :)

Wardy17 · 26/03/2013 11:37

I'll try choc, just for you! I don't want to be told off again lol xx

Looking forward to it disappearing to I can crack on with dtd and obsessing for another month haha Grin

Wardy17 · 26/03/2013 11:05

I'm embarrassed to say that I POAS this morning, of course BFN, AF due Sunday.

MrsAVB · 26/03/2013 08:58

Morning!
Pistachio, I am going to try to wait til the 7th, although I have a job application deadline on the 7th so it depends whether I've done the god awful personal statement before 5th/ 6th (as there's no point in me changing jobs if I'm pg). It's hard wanting to have a career as well as a baby!
Today I have stomach cramps but again this might be unrelated... (although stomach closer to potential baby than yesterday's armpit pain lol).

PistachioTruffle · 25/03/2013 22:54

Fingers crossed for your symptoms Wardy!

Choco it's a little complicated, but basically as I'm a student I could take maternity leave and return to my course. If it turned out I fell pregnant and the baby was due too near the end of the course, or after the end of the course then it would cause problems with taking maternity leave/getting a job.

MrsAVB well spotted! Grin You're quite right, My cycles are a bit longer, about 37-40 days, and a little unpredictable hence the later cycle day. Fingers crossed for both of us! Are you waiting 'til the 7th to test?

lucieloos · 25/03/2013 22:49

Hi there, could someone add me to the list please :)

TTC#1, cycle 1, bfp due 7th April

Wardy17 · 25/03/2013 22:21

Hopefully they are symptoms and not just in my imagination!!!

Good luck for the future queen xx

WanabeMum · 25/03/2013 22:08

Hey ladies can I join please? I'm currently TTC #2 and have had the mirena removed so no idea where I am in my cycle! Although I have imagined felt some weird things lately, slight nausea end of last week, very tired, and today sore boobs. I'm sure this is all in my head but determined not to let it take over my life like it did last time! Any advice on distractions?! Smile

MrsAVB · 25/03/2013 21:49

Evening all!
Pistachio, I just noticed we have the exact same stats (except I am cd20 so I guess a shorter cycle...) - here's hoping we're both lucky this month; that must be a hard decision to stop ttc. Am in a similar position too as applying for new jobs at the moment. Which adds another element to being tempted to POAS (obviously not quite yet!) as an excuse not to fill in boring job apps.
Is anyone else imagining getting weird symptoms. For example today I have a pain in my armpit which I'm sure is totally unrelated to anything... Err... Don't chuck me off the bus for being weird please!
This is my first month on mumsnet, and my first month not "just sh*ing", although we have been trying since September I haven't paid any attention to my cycle etc. I think mumsnet is driving me a little crazy with all the effort some of you are putting in, I'm in awe! Any tips for a newbie most welcome.
Much love xxx

chocoloulou33 · 25/03/2013 21:34

Sounds good wardy, got fx for you. SoRry to see you go queen good luck in the future xx
pistachio why would u have to have a break if u don't mind me asking? X

Ttcnumero3 · 25/03/2013 21:06

I'm struggling to keep up with all the acronyms!!! Many have changed since i was pg or ttc previously! Think I am CD11 of a 28 day cycle. EWCM I think today (sorry if tmi!!). No idea about taking temperature or extra supplements etc.

Whilst I would be DELIGHTED to get pg this month I am also aware that would mean a due date very close to Christmas...and I wonder about the effects of that on current family...

Exciting that some people are days away from poas tick! Fingers crossed ladies...
