Well I am dusting down the drivers seat and kick starting the April bus for those the BFP fairy missed on the lucky Mad March bus. Fingers crossed the destination for this one is 'Baby Central'.

The cm I had was definitely not clear!! FX!!!

PistachioTruffle · 27/03/2013 19:22

I've just consulted the oracle (taking charge) and creamy white cm (which I also have haha) can either be cyclical non fertile cm, or pregnancy associated (!) Stretchy clear or streaked cm is fertile mucus and indicates you may be in the fertile period.

Mrs, thats good, at least you will have a reason to wait and have something to distract you!

Bajas · 27/03/2013 19:04

Sorry just noticed it was sammie who had white cm. it's amazing the things you start to become hyper aware of when ttc that you never really noticed before!

Bajas · 27/03/2013 19:01

Was wondering about white cm myself wardy as have it today. Not that I'd be fit to dtd tonight anyway- dh on late shift and I woke up dosed with the cold so am feeling very sorry for myself Sad

Wardy17 · 27/03/2013 18:23

Ok slightly confused, hoping someone can help me. So this cycle I'm used Clearblue OPKs and I got my smiley face on the 17th and 18th of march. Dtd loads before and after smiley face. Haven't really dtd now since my fertile week (apologise in advance for tmi). I got home from work today and went for a wee, as you do, and noticed when I wiped some cm so I checked it out and it was stretch but not clear and there was hardly any of it, it was tiny, could this be ewcm and could I be ovulating now? I really hope not as I haven't been doing the deed. I haven't had ewcm before, is it clear or white? Does it dry white in your pants? Do you normally get lots? Sorry for all the gross questions.

barebranches · 27/03/2013 18:14

Wardy17 · 27/03/2013 15:50

Is 8/9 dpo to early to test? AF due Sunday.

Don't really know why I'm asking just can't seem to stop thinking about weeing on sticks!!

MrsAVB · 27/03/2013 14:34

Pistachio I have decided I will wait til the 7th to POAS.
because I have 2 things planned on the 6th where I will want to drink (not excessively obviously before mumsnet calls social services)
I feel like I'm the naughty kid on the bus...
Xxx

deliasmithy · 27/03/2013 14:15

Hello all,
Not been around for a while as busy with work, dtd and got new phone so lost this page!
Im cd23, just beginning to get the crazies again. No symptoms at all but I'll run with that after last months nausea sore boobs etc that just led to af.
Have felt very stressed about the fact this is last chance for 2013 baby. Silly really but sensible doesn't seem to feature right now!

Sammieh86 · 27/03/2013 13:13

my bfp due fri/sat....bbs sore, low backache, mild cramping and white cm.....sign of af or bump? fingers crossed :))) xx

ELA88 · 27/03/2013 12:59

Extreme nausea...a symptom? or due to the fact I just ate nearly a whole box of chocolate fingers! Hmm! Xx

gillywillywoo · 27/03/2013 11:15

Penny DH takes vitabiotics wellman conception tablets! Basically the male equivalent of the pregnacare ones I take Smile

BoomBaby · 27/03/2013 09:31

Good morning ladies

I was very naughty this morning and tested at 10dpo, should have been waiting until 1st April but the waiting game got the better of me. A bfn unfortunately and I've been symptom spotting like crazy but any high hopes that i had of being pregnant have reduced massively Sad

Expecting af a lot more now.....

padster75 · 27/03/2013 07:27

Morning all,

Crazy month I am having here, barely time to fart never mind shag think. Have absolutely no idea where I am up to, other than on CD20!! Damn anti-histamines taken to combat the god awful early tree pollen has really screwed with CM, so you would think the BBT would play ball so I would have an idea, but no that's fucked all over the place too!! Only thing that's worked this month is DTD (once DH found his dick the time).

Gilly there must be something in the water, my DH is obssessing about buying a new car. Well new to us, some of our friends are emigrating and he is going to buy their car. He reckons it'll be good for (and I quote) 'all that shit that babies need' .................... well it's a start!

choc great to hear DD is doing so well at school Smile
MRSAVB & Pistachio absolutely, when is the 'right time'. Becoming more and more of a strong believer that it will happen when it is meant to happen.

Busy couple of days ahead, then we are going and spending Easter weekend with the inlaws in their caravan in North Wales. Looking forward to the break (although I will be cooking or we'll starve). Hoping it takes my mind of symptoms spotting, although I have no faith in my cycle this month. DTD days 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 19 so hoping all bases are coveredGrin)

Ah marie that must be strange for u. It will so be worth the wait I promise you. Let's hope this is our lucky month! So we're both poas sat! Soooo exciting! Gah only tues 2moro, hurry up weekend x

PistachioTruffle · 26/03/2013 22:43

MrsAVB That's very true, people always say that if you wait for exactly the right time to TTC it might never come, but it would be even more unlikely to arrive if on top of all the things that are regularly thought about (suitable house, savings, ideal point in career etc) everyone waited until their friends wanted to TTC, what if they never did? What if it took much longer than anticipated? I also think that being pregnant/having a baby is an opportunity for many women to meet new people in similar situations, through antenatal classes, baby groups etc.

I have internet cheapie tests in the drawer, I'm very tempted to POAS on the 5th

MrsAVB · 26/03/2013 22:17

Evening all!
I was waiting for a train this morning and a couple were talking about when to start ttc. She was saying how important it had been to her to have friends living really close and of a close age when she was growing up and saying that she wanted to wait til a) she lived somewhere where she had close friends living near and b) those friends wanted to ttc too!
All very ideal I know, but it really struck me how having a baby isn't guaranteed - you can spend so much time planning the the "right" time, and doing all the stuff that you much more organised ladies than me do with vitamins, opks etc. life will go on and I'm going to try not to obsess!
but I might still POAS on the 5th Ssssh!
And just had an evening out with two single friends who seem to think that anyone married or ttc "just doesn't understand..." I could say the same for them - life doesn't get easy the minute you settle down!
Pistachio I'm not desperate for the job but its all part of the mix of needing a job closer to DHs so that we can move somewhere more affordable with more room for DC(s). Being a grown up is way too complicated sometimes!
Marie Thanks for your concern about my armpit pain haha! Blush
Hope you're all well... And sorry for the rant!
X

Penny31 · 26/03/2013 22:02

If you can hold out that long wanabe ;) I would definitely invest in cheap tests from amazon. Once I poas I couldn't stop! I found it addictive so know I had a stash of 20 was good! Have enough left for my obsession in April thankfully. Grin

Penny31 · 26/03/2013 22:00

Marie I understand your stress! A lot of my friends have completed their families and I haven't even started yet! There are 3 of us left with no kids and we are all now TTC. A bit tricky really because although I will be happy for their BFPs I will also be sad on the inside and vice versa. Who knew TTC would be this bloomin complicated!

WanabeMum · 26/03/2013 21:59

Thanks penny. I get some twinges normally but never sore boobs. I'm thinking my hormones may just be returning to normal and maybe That accounts for the "symptoms"

Four weeks after removal is a good place to start though, so that would mean I could test on 15th April. Watch this space!

Penny31 · 26/03/2013 21:57

If you ovulated around the 13th then you could perhaps test at the weekend....that's what I would do

Penny31 · 26/03/2013 21:56

Wanabemum I have no experience with the coil I'm afraid. Do you get AF symptoms like sore boobs, bloating cramps? If you do an know roughly around what date then you could use that as a benchmark for testing.

Maybe give it 4 weeks from having coil removed and start testing then if AF hasn't arrived.

Get some cheap opk's and pg tests from amazon. You can get batches of 20 :) then start poas to see if you can detect who you ovulate.

Someone else who has had a coil will be able to help better.....

WanabeMum · 26/03/2013 21:53

Aw Marie that's horrible! I'm sure it will happen for you soon. Thought it was never going to happen when ttc#1 but got bfp 10 months later Smile beautiful dd so worth the wait!
I think I ovulated around 12/13th as I get some pain usually. Not really sure though. Blush

marie456 · 26/03/2013 21:47

When did.you ovulate wanabe?

Good news about the parents evening choc Grin ! I'm going to poas Saturday aswell! Really want this month too, as don't want due date to go to 2014!.
Another friend announced she was pregnant yesterday and I've since been getting messages from other friends telling me the pressures on me now, I'm the only one! They don't mean anything by it and don't realise how insane I'm going trying to get pregnant but it is depressing literally the only one in my group of friends who doesn't either already have children or is currently pregnant! [Sad] Stressssss!

WanabeMum · 26/03/2013 21:46

I have no idea penny Sad haven't had a period for 6 months plus as I had the coil fitted. Coil removed 14th but we've had loads of dtd before and since so I'm not sure. In hindsight I should have waited for AF before TTC Sad
