hello! can I join in? TTC since 18th March when I had implant removed, so not really sure when to expect a BFP but hoping for an April or May :) no nasty AF as yet so I shall decline some wine

Can I just ask what everyone's doing about drinking alcohol when TTC? I have been drinking "normally", which is less than when I was uni, but more than a pregnant person! Prob 1 glass a couple of nights a week, and a few more glasses if we are out for dinner or have friends over.

AF's due next weekend - no symptoms whatsoever so far but just wondering if I should feel guilty for having a couple of glasses in front of TV tonight?

I don't really want to abstain completely as who knows how long this process will take! Just wondered what everyone else is doing!

gilly I'd probably Dtd every other day fom now until about 10 days before AF due. That should cover things plus a wee rest from Dtd every day

gilly and penny - I think, (presuming you like it ), just do it lots! And don't stress about when to do it. But then I am not pregnant and never have been. I've heard others - who will hopefully be along to offer more useful advice, say that little swimmers are at their best with a couple of days in between but not sure how true that is. Also don't stop boffing when you think your fertile period is over as I don't think any apps or sticks or thermometers can predict absolutely everything. But then I am very much in the not very helpful laid back school and don't use any of them.

How exciting! A positive on opk just now :) DTD tues and last night and will DTD again tonight. Do we need to DTD again tomorrow? Should we just keep going lol?

Haven't dtd yet this cycle... Had a very heavy period which lasted a day or so longer than usual and been working nights since!

Anyway.... My phone apps are now telling me I'm fertile!

I reckon I will actually ovulate next wed/thurs so... I want to know how often we should be dtd...? (Will be using OPKs as well and also charting)

Last month we dtd every day during my fertile time and BFN.

Same again this month or should we dtd every other day?

Or maybe every other day til Monday.... And then dtd tues wed and thurs??

Just wondering what other people do...??

I tested this morning, 12dpo and bfn :( No signs of af at the moment. Going away for a couple of days nowb so will test again Sunday if still no af.

I'm out. 7day luteal phase. Bloody stupid body. Can anyone shed some light on day 21 progesterone tests - do gp's normally do them? Should I be persistent and ask for one? (Last gp I went to see - not my normal one - just said to relax and that 6 days would be fine?!!) as a sensible, educated adult why does it feel like I'm humoured and placated by some gp's?! Minor rant over.

I ovulate on Saturday (I think) and really need to DTD lots but now I've watching Dogging Tales it's put me off

I won't watch OBEM it would make me cry too much!!
