Gah - despite the fact i was feeling crampy this morning my mum has now got my hopes up by symptom spotting for me! I told her i got crazy tired on a dog walk and felt like lying down in a field (i was so tempted!!), and i also got really teary when on the phone to a call centre numpty who wasn't helping me which was utterly pathetic of me! Mum decided these are pg symptoms which i would love to be true but i have a feeling that this morning's cramps are more telling.

bikey I would say the AF like cramps could be implantation? That usually happens about a week before AF is due. I've had the same but AF due 15th (ish) so could be the witch on her way.

TTC #2 BFP due tomorrow....

Right ladies I have a question...AF / BFP is a week away based on a 28 day cycle which I always had before taking cerazette for 6 months. But yesterday and today I have had AF like cramps...is it possible to have 21 day cycle or am I just worrying for nothing?

Also forgot to say I bought some clearblue digis and they have been negative for the last 3 days as well.
Gonna keep trying as I have a pack of 10 so... Lets see what happens I guess.x

Toby I don't know but I'm having a weird one with OPKs this month as well.
Only started using them last month and last month I had faint lines most days that started to get darker one day and then the next day (CD17) I had a very very dark an obvious positive!

This month I've been using them since CD11 (cheap sticks so don't care!)... Had faint lines every day.. Some days pretty much no line at all.
Today is CD17 and still no dark line like last month

My bbt is still low so pretty sure I haven't ovulated yet. Also lash month I had EWCM on CD17 and CD18 and nothing this month either.

Maybe i will ov a bit later this month but hoping that doesn't effect my luteal phase.. Maybe my cycle will just be longer this month.

I have a question. Using IC OPKs for the first time this month. Used them every day since CD10. Faint line every time, which I understand means negative. Did one early afternoon today (ov day, according to FF) and faint line. Just did another and there's no line at all (other than control).
Is this normal? Can you have faint lines and then nothing at all? I definitely haven't missed ovulation.

I've never used them before, so no idea!

I think you could still be in with a chance hun... It's not over until AF arrives anyway and if you're getting a faint line then that's promising!
Take a break of you want to but you never know... You could get a BFP any day xx

Nah, I might get another cheaper test tomorrow. I had chemical miscarriage in Feb. I'm cd33 today, think my cycles are just messed up. Planning on stopping TTC for a couple of months due to awkward due dates/months i.e Jan and Feb.

Oh lyndsey, don't feel disheartened just yet. Those digital ones rely on you having higher hcg.
How are the normal line poas? Have you tried taking a Tesco normal line one?

Fed up now. Did a Tesco digital test. Showed 'not pregnant' all IC's I've done have had faint second lines. Maybe need to accept it Ain't happening. Fed up.

Haha yeah we just tried to dtd as much as possible in march so didn't really matter when I ovulated as there would hopefully always be some little swimmers waiting! Ohh gilly you're near the end of the month! Being at the beginning i feel like I'm never on a bus for very long until I jump on the next one! Xxx

Never assume when you're ovulating! You might be a week out.

Ps ELA my AF isn't due til 24th! I'm still dtd like a maniac at the mo!

ie, ov is appx 14 days before your next cycle starts... Not halfway through your cycle x

My cycles are appx 30/31 days most months and I ov around CD17/18.

This is quite normal and just means my luteal phase is maybe a little shorter than others but not short enough to be considered a defect.

Ov on CD17 on a 30 day cycle means my luteal phase is 13 days which is normal...(they say 14 is the average.. Sometimes less/more).

Slightly later ov means maybe only an 11-12 day luteal phase which is apparently still ok.

Doc says anything less than 10 can be considered a defect.

You ladies with nice long cycles (mine are short too - 26-28 days) - how is it possible to ovulate at CD19...how long are your cycles?? I thought OV was half way through the cycle? Does that mean you have 40 day cycles?

I just assumed I OV on CD12-14 along with everyone else.

So, in line with my 10km race next weekend I went on a 5km run last night up a v steep hill and back, felt bloody knackered but definitely happy to be getting fit even if I'm not pg. Bring on AF I say and cycle 4 for May.
