Thanks ladies! He's had such a lovely day, will post the cake tomorrow..it was a huge success & it's all he's talked about (much more than his presents!) so I'm really really chuffed as it took ages he also had his card shown on cbeebies!! Which made me cry we had a little picnic party in the garden with friends today and he was so happy & kept saying "this is a lovely birthday picnic mummy" haha!

Poor shroom I hope they get you sorted soon. You'll feel better when you're rehydrated. I don't know if they'll offer you drugs but if they do, I just wanted to say that my sis took them with all her pregnancies and had very healthy babies. I know it is something I worried about and managed to do without as i wasnt as sick as her but if you are being hospitalised it is definitely worth considering. Big hugs xxx

I know I can't believe its been a whole year either, it seems crazy to think this time last year I was ridiculously excited and willing the day to arrive! We don't really have much cash to do anything exciting, so we're gonna take a picnic to one of our favourite spots where we spent a lot of time in the early days, and hopefully the weather will be nice. Its up a big hill with some castle ruins, and we spent many summer days and evenings there in my student days. May possibly stretch to a meal out later on, but we'll see. Tbh I am very happy not to do much, I have my lovely dh and a wriggly bump, and I am more than content to just remember the day and enjoy some time together. Like you said cloud I would have never dared to dream I'd be in this position a year down the line and I'm so grateful to have been given another shot at it.

Wow moon a year really!! And I bet at the time you never dared hope just a year later you'd be well on the way to having your own little boy! I don't know about finishing a thread but I know you can ask for them to be deleted..

Random question..... If you start a thread, I'm sure there used to be a way to finish it so you dont get anymore replies, or did I make that up? I thought there was a way to make the thread full, or maybe its my imagination!

Now some of you may think I'm rubbish for going AWOL again but actually it was just part of my cunning plan to randomly come back and find out that yet another of you lovelies is upduffed!!!! yay shroom i am back for handholding I promise. Lovely lovely news :)

Was just sneaking back to check for news on sabs and 4ever and I can't stop grinning :) Rubbish about the hyperemesis. It gets better at 14/16 weeks for most people but even for those like me who have it all the way through, it does improve slightly usually as you go on. my only suggestion is to sip water in tiny doses constantly. Any more than a sip might come up and dehydration = hospital. Also take multivitamins last thing at night while in bed. Only chance of keeping them down! It will improve. There are also drugs that can help.

And moon is having a moon boy. Lovely :) don't worry missus. Just because you feel blessed doesn't mean pregnancy isn't hard. I found a walk in the evening with dh helped. Though that went out the window second time round thanks to having a gorgeous toddler tucked up in bed as well as severe spd. I had to make do with crappy tv
