Me first this time. Smile

It may only be May 4th, but I'm out for this month (although technically AF due 30th May - I just like starting new threads).

TuttiFrutti , a line is a line!!!!!!

you are pg, treat your self as pg, if you not happy ,do one next week, but you are pg

TuttiFrutti · 08/06/2006 09:34

Damn! Did test again this morning and got exactly the same result: very VERY faint line, so faint that I'm not sure if it counts as a line or not.

I saw a friend last night who said "You must wait 3 days before doing another test, whatever you do don't test again tomorrow morning", but of course like an impatient toddler I couldn't wait. I WILL wait another 2 days though before doing another.

Meanwhile am still thinking of myself as officilly "not pregnant", so drinking full-strenght caffeine and alcohol. Wink

Hairycaterpillar, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

suzi2 · 08/06/2006 07:39

bobblehead, since my AF returned (2 cycles, soon to be 3!) I have been getting multiple times of EWCM. Not sure what it means TBH but it might have something to do with the breastfeeding as I'm still feeding DS.

bobblehead · 08/06/2006 01:45

Don't know if anyone can answer this for me, but I'm on cd21 and seem to be getting ewcm plus cramps. Could this be ovulation or does it mean af is likely to start soon? This is first cycle since giving up breastfeeding so don't know what to expect but is it normal to get lots of cm this late on?

coggy · 07/06/2006 20:35

Oh! Blush

trace2 · 07/06/2006 19:27

COGGY THEY ARE SURPOSED TO BE FRESH (GRIN)

hairycaterpillar · 07/06/2006 19:16

wow it's looking good Tuttifrutti...let us know what tomorrows test shows. I have a test in my kitchen cupboard which I've promised dh I'll not use until the w/end, but without sounding to much like my 2.9yr old ds "I want it NOW"!

coggy · 07/06/2006 18:24

Trace - I popped into town earlier to get a few things and had berries on my shopping list. Went and forgot the flippin' things though...
....but had a good idea.
Tesco's do a frozen berry selection for £1.48 (not a spotter but just done an order!!) and they would be ideal to bung in a smootie. No need to add ice to it either.
Clever eh??!!

Sexonlegs · 07/06/2006 17:08

Just dropping in for my daily dose of mumsnet. Fingers crossed to those who are looking like pos bfp's. Plan to bd again tonight as ov test says "get on with it". Am also finding it all mechanical though and a bit boring which I know sounds awful. DH quite happy with it all, but I think we need to spice things up a bit! Sorry tmi I know, but needed to let it out.
Happy days! xxx

chocolateuser · 07/06/2006 15:21

i waited 2 months after ectopic for things to get back to normal. I'm 31 on friday - hoping my birthday wish will come true!

Hopecat · 07/06/2006 14:54

Hello chocolateuser. It's 8 months since October anyway. How old are you? If you're over 35 they say you should try for 6 months before going to seek help, and if you've had an ectopic they should be sympathetic.

Tuttifrutti and hairycaterpillar - things are sounding good for you two. I've done Clearblue tests and never a HINT of a vertical line.

Sorry to hear you're feeling rough Trace. I'm not on clomid so I don't know how that feels, but I do know this ttc lark is putting us both off the whole idea of sex.

And coggy - glad you've got loads of EWCM - hope you're putting it to good use Smile

just butting in here, but wondering if it's too soon to go to a doctor. i empathise with everyone on here. i had an ectopic in oct so i assume the dr will just say chances are lower and i need to try for longer. 6 months feels like forever. waiting for af seems like torture. can a dr help yet?

TuttiFrutti · 07/06/2006 12:31

I really hope so trace. I am going to the supermarket this afternoon so will pick up another couple of tests, and test again tomorrow morning and the day after.

trace2 · 07/06/2006 10:10

we had some one on here not long ago with the same, you are pg, have a happy 8 months(GRIN)

trace2 · 07/06/2006 10:09

its a posative conrats,

TuttiFrutti · 07/06/2006 10:08

Of course I couldn't really hold off testing, and did test this morning and... it's inconclusive!!! Did a Clearblue test where you get a plus sign if you're preg and a minus if you're not. I got a minus sign straight away, but then after about a minute a very very faint line appeared down the middle of it, so it's ALMOST a cross IYSWIM. Really annoying - sounds a bit like what you got hairycaterpillar, and I just don't know what it means.

Will have to test again in a few days time, but I've never felt so impatient and really want to know NOW!!!

trace2 · 07/06/2006 09:50

ok thats your choice, but you know we are all here if you need us, but it does sound like a bfp, and i really hope so, good luck with the new test

hairycaterpillar · 07/06/2006 09:48

Thanks Trace...think i'm going to try and hold off until the w/end before testing again, am terrified af will arrive and i've had this false hope.

trace2 · 07/06/2006 09:41

well it sounds like a bfp then, do another so we can congratulate you! go girl

hairycaterpillar · 07/06/2006 09:38

came up within couple of minutes probably...

trace2 · 07/06/2006 09:35

hairycaterpillar, did the lines come up befor 10 mins, thats what a evp line is

trace2 · 07/06/2006 09:33

wow gingerbear, you now have EWCM!? it must be the clomid doing its bit, so maybe you wernt ovulating befor.

yes i am evil to and i carnt spot it, or control it!

yes coggy we have been at it so long he now knows when we need to, from day 7 to day 20 most months every other day, it just feels like all the months befor when i didnt know i was not ovulating was a waste!

coggy · 07/06/2006 09:30

That's intereesting about you EWCM gingerbear (not something you'd say to someone every day!!! Shock)

Clomid is supposed to dry it up quite badly and I haven't had alot apart from this month where I seem to have loads.

hairycaterpillar · 07/06/2006 09:29

Hang on in there Tuttifrutti(says she who caved!)...fingers crossed for you and all on this thread.

I'm going to re-test at the w-end i think currently CD24 ...worried line i had earlier in week was an "evap line" someone mentioned that earlier in the thread...what is it?!? My line was red and seemed in the right place, but i know it was v early to test.

coggy · 07/06/2006 09:28

It does tend to get quite mechanical after you have been ttc for a long time and I know lots of people who can't bear that but after trying for ages and ages it's hard not to isn't it?

Is your dh interested in knowing the 'best times'?
Mine says it puts him off - which is akward and makes me feel bad sometimes cause it's only then that i seem to initiate anything and he must suspect.
