We've run out of room on Karbea's Jan IVF thread and it is too much fun to stop! We're all getting into comfy clothes and enjoying the side effects and surprises (and occasionally some hand holding).

AFM, I'm glad not to be in work today. Very very tired but just so thankful that - so far - nothing bad has happened.

Not quite noks. I am not drinking for lent (well, it started as a pregnancy cover story but I thought I would carry it on when it all went wrong). So I'm very much looking forward to a glass of wine on Sunday!

I am now back and have resisted the temptation to purchase pee sticks. I even walked through Boots just to show how determined I am. I do have one from the hospital but it looks as though it's from the 1930's so I don't think it will be as reliable as some of the others. Anyway.....

The Southbank sounds good to me if it's convenient for you. Where can we go for something non-alcoholic Sad ? euro obviously if you come we can watch you supping fine wines !

Let me know where you suggest shazza. Will about 4ish suit ?

shazz yes, in the City. I doubt I will make it out though as my plan is to work as hard as I can Friday and Saturday in order to take Sunday and Monday off, so I finally get a two day weekend off! If you are at the Southbank when I am leaving though, I'd love to swing by and say hi, but please don't make your plans around me because I might be in the office until late.

I'm still shocked about choco and everyone on here who has suffered such tragedy. I feel for you all and realise that no matter how worried I am and what the future holds, today I am still blessed and for that I'm so grateful.

Noks I'm around tomorrow and am happy to distract you from the evil temptation of POAS! What do you fancy doing? If you are Surrey I guess you come into Waterloo? So we could meet on the southbank If that is convenient? What would be a good time? Afternoon ish?

Is anyone else around tomorrow? Euro what time do you finish work? Do you work in London?

I hope you're all ok. I guess we have all gone a bit quiet after hearing about choco.....if you are lurking my love, this is just to let you know that I am thinking of you today. Flowers

I have had to go out again as am trying not to go mentalcrayzee on the last couple of days of the 2ww. I daren't even buy the tests until tomorrow evening just in case I give in to temptation and test early. I have got on the train and whilst poncng up and down the high street doing my best Hyacinth Bucket impression, i have found a lovely little artisan shop in Godalming to buy shit I don't need, just to distract myself. Mr Noks has done alright out of it - old blabber gob has got himself a rather nice alternative Easter present.

Shazza I just wondered if we are still meeting at some point tomorrow ? I am still up for it if you can make it but absolutely no worries if you can't. If anyone else can meet, that would be fab too.

Hi ladies, sorry for the lack of personals, not really in a fit state at the moment. Thank you all for thinking of me and for your support, it's the worst news. Levels have dropped to 26, so will start bleeding in the next couple of days once I've stopped the Gestone. I will still be lurking and checking up on all of you and hopefully I'll have the strength to come back in a while. Bloody devastated x

shazza, keep and euro - thanks! We told DS this morning and he is thrilled at being a big brother. I am still taking the progesterone and have been told to keep on until week 14, then reduce to one a day for a week before ending it completely. Seems overkill to me but I'm not arguing.

euro when you said yesterday you started temping again I for a moment wondered if you had lost your job! I found temping useful to confirm I was ovulating regularly but after a while it became another way to torment myself when I would see the temp drop again and again after day 25 or so. But I would be doing the same as you if the IVF hadn't worked. I hope when you test today there is no line so you can start again.

noks good luck on not testing early. I managed only by ensuring I had not HPTs in the house and working long hours so as to avoid just dropping into any chemists on the way home!

shazz it's a thermometer designed for temping, that has 2 decimal places rather than one. Some people do manage with a normal one though. I hope dancing was fun.

fairy that's just brilliant news! Do you feel a bit more relaxed now? Can I ask when you stopped on the progesterone? Anyone else know? I think my doc said 6-8 weeks depending on my levels, but I'm not sure if he meant 6-8 weeks pg, or 6-8 weeks from then, I was rather flustered.

noks I think you'll be 16dpEC on sat, so should get a clear answer. My 14dpEC with a crap test was a real headf*

euro I guess it's not that surprising to get a faint line at, what, two weeks post m/c? I don't know. I hope it goes off soon, and you can move forwards. You must be exhausted. And your job sounds crazy.

No time off for Easter here, but it's Thai new year next month which'll be awesome.

Fairy that's lovely news. Congratulations. What a relief. So can you 'come out' now and tell everyone or have you done that already?

Gosh euro fingers crossed it was the cup. I've never taken my temp whilst TTC this might sound dumb but do you just use a normal thermometer under the tongue?

I've had a better day. Still concerned of course but managed not to google and I'm not freaking out like yesterday. I'm going to take Noks' advice and go dancing tonight. I didn't go last week cause I was too anxious.

Choco how are you honey? I hope you managed to rest abit. Xx
