I couldn't bring myself to call her a bitch, we still need her help! Come on ladies, let's do this thing....

OP posts:
GardenWorm · 10/03/2013 23:03

Hey Janie my poas partner - I don't feel pregnant either (well obviously apart from all the symptoms crazy made up 'feelings' that I don't think it would even be physically possible to have!). If its any consolation I had none at all with my DC.

Oh and randomly on the alcohol front I went on a hen wkd at 6 wks with my DC (before I knew - please don't call the social) and it had no ill effects ;o)

JanieLovesCake · 10/03/2013 22:52

aly good luck tomorrow xx

JanieLovesCake · 10/03/2013 22:51

Hey sunshine, hope you're doing ok, and rant away, we've all got that sad thing in common so know exactly where you're coming from x

Depressing rant alert...

I've had quite a strange day beginning with crying in the shower and feeling a bit blue. Today is a friends due date, she was 6 weeks ahead of me so it's made me realise that I would've been due soon. It's not something I ever marked in the calendar so I was quite shocked at how upset I felt. Also with every other person on Facebook posting Mother's Day pics with their little babies, made me feel so jealous and sad :( also not feeling very pregnant and worried that AF is on her way (I always get shivery when it's due and I've been shivery all day). Ra ra ra ra raaaaant over.

Sunshine2013Hopefully · 10/03/2013 22:17

Hi everyone, I've been lurking and nervous to comment. In denial a bit I think. I had an early mc in January and I'm trying not to get obsessed about TTC again and failing miserably!

Just found out that my 20 year old, unemplyed, still living at home cousin accidentally got pregnant, wat wud hav been about the same time as me. Whereas I lost my much loved baby my lil cousin's baby is absolutely fine! Sorry I'm starting to sound a bit bitter, she's a lovely girl really and will make a great mum, and now she has got her head round it she is excited!

Anyway I see I am in good company with hopeful TTC-ers and slightly nervous bfp-ers. Hope we can all keep each other sane!

alyant79 · 10/03/2013 20:21

Thanks bump that's very encouraging.
Unfortunately I'm going on an overseas conference for a week about a week after my erpc. Will probably miss ovulation whether its early or "normal" so a bit pissed off about that. Oh well nice to know there could be hope if we can manage to dtd before I go.

I never used to be so obsessed about getting knocked up before this happened. Anyone else out there also feel like they've had a personality transplant?

BumpKitty · 10/03/2013 16:04

Hi alyant it seems we had quite a similar experience, I had hardly any bleeding after the ERPC and i got a BFN after 10 days, but this was the first Test I did so would probably have been negative earlier. then it took 3 weeks for AF to turn up (which is pretty quick really) i assume this was because id had most of my miscarriage naturally like you. So that would mean I ovulated one week after the ERPC. Hope this helps :)

alyant79 · 10/03/2013 15:39

saggy and zeux i'll be at the beggining of my cycle after erpc tomorrow.
still can't believe I have to go right back to the start again :(

but i'm certainly not waiting for first av before ttc again, as soon as the bleeding stops (and I'm hoping that since I already had the "main" miscarriage that should be quickly - and now that I've said taht it'll probably last for weeks) we'll get back on the horse, so to speak.

bump i too had an empty sac at 12 weeks and want to have an early scan around 7-8 weeks. I'd rather know asap if the same thing is happening again...

Mummytothearkbuilder · 10/03/2013 15:16

I guess if it is AF then at least I will know what day is cycle day one etc as at the moment I have no idea - all I know is its been 3 weeks and 2 days since the miscarriage. Still no positive opk but I am trying to look for other signs of ovulation too. It's so frustrating having such long and irregular cycles!! X

Bodicea · 10/03/2013 15:02

shellshock got hubby practice this morning on the fake cushion thingy strapped to my tummy. He was a bit crap if I am honest. Did't get a single one perfect before we ran out of practice needles!! Gonna drag him in to EPAU when I get the stuff to be shown properly by our midwife. I also am friendly with a DVT nurse who offered to do them for me in the weekdays until I get the hang of it. I want hubby to do it as I think its good to get him involved.

bump I would go for one at about 8 weeks gestation. That's a nice time to see a heartbeat for definite and not too long a wait or too long till 12 week scan.

Just snuck a caffeinated tea in.

shellshock7 · 10/03/2013 13:52

Defo early scan here too....my MMC the baby had stopped growing at 8 weeks so that's when I'll get mine if I get there

Zeuxippe · 10/03/2013 13:09

Hi saggy great to have a poas buddy! Smile

SaggyOldClothCatpuss · 10/03/2013 12:08

I will definitely be going for an early scan. I know the chances of a second ectopic are slightly raised and I won't rest until I know.

SaggyOldClothCatpuss · 10/03/2013 12:06

Mummy could be impending AF? I was getting mild, and very much not so mild cramps for a good week before she finally arrived, and also that 'something is happening' feeling. It's not so bad, at least you have a good cut off/starting point.
Zeux I'm glad there's someone else at the start of their cycle, I was starting to think I was polar opposite to everyone else and would be POAS all on my own! Confused

IBelieveInPink · 10/03/2013 11:57

Bump - no advice necessarily, but my plan is to have an early scan if I get to about 7 weeks. The first time my body carried on until 8 weeks, even thought it had gone at 5. So I want to pick up on it earlier of things are going wrong again.

BumpKitty · 10/03/2013 10:34

Hi all mummy yes you can miss the surge, I'd get Dtd but carry on with the opks just incase you haven't missed the surge.

I've been googling early scans, very undecided but I don't have any milestone dates as I only started bleeding the day before my 12 week scan, the sac (blighted ovum) measured 6 + 4 but obv my body carried on thinking it was pregnant till 12 weeks even with no baby. So I don't think CB digitals would help either. I can afford a scan but just feel very nervous about it :( any advice?

Mummytothearkbuilder · 10/03/2013 10:13

Morning ladies thanks for your replies - I will get cracking with DTD then - fingers crossed!!

Is it possible to ovulate and not get a positive OPK?? In theory could I miss testing for the surge e.g get negative result Monday morning, surge happens Monday afternoon and is over by the test next on Tuesday morning???

This TTC lark is confusing!! X

JBrd · 10/03/2013 10:02

Hello everyone, like Zeuxippe, I also have been lurking for ages since last posting... Here's to lots of spring BFPs!

JBrd: 1 DS, 1 MC, cycle 1, AF/BFP due March 15/16 (according to my calculations) or March 12 (according to FertilityFriend - I'm in denial that my cycles appear to have gotten shorter Grin)

I'm already symptom-spotting like mad...

Zeuxippe · 10/03/2013 09:21

Hi everyone, not been on for ages as just waiting for af following mc but she finally turned up on Friday, five and a half weeks after the event! So am simultaneously relieved and nervous to be back in the ttc game.

Sorry to those who have had bad news since I last posted Sad. Thinking of you.

Fantastic to see some BFPs! Giving us all hope. Grin

I see we're doing a stats list now so here are mine:

Zeu 1DD 1mc cycle 1 bfp due 11th April

IBelieveInPink · 10/03/2013 09:01

Morning Shell. Me too. I poa digi this morning, got a 1-2. Planning on poa digi next Sunday too. Hopefully will have gone up.
I am already in an absolute panic. Im so scared of mc for a 3rd time.
DH keeps saying that either way this is good, if it goes wrong we will get help now, if it goes right, yay. But I don't want to lose another one. This is Waaay to much stress to be fun. I don't know how to chill out. And then keep worrying that stress will stop things happening!!! Argh!!!

Mummy, I would guess at ov pains, but to be completely honest anything goes after mc. Nothing wrong with dtd anyway just in case :)

shellshock7 · 10/03/2013 08:44

Wow this thread moves fast Grin

spanish thanks I POAdigitalS yesterday and got the 1-2 weeks so ill do it again on Sat then all being well Smile

aly sorry to read your news, hope you get back on track quickly afterwards

lucky I always test too early too Blush

bod Hows the needle practice going? And thanks for the decaf reminder!

Re EDDs mine shows as 14 Nov, but I ov on Cd19 so will prob be 19 Nov if we get to dating scan Smile

bakin good to see you back Smile I will post on you're thread in a min to mark my place but will stay here for a bit if that's ok Smile

thunder it sounds like it could actually be good news, if that was the cause of your MC? Hope you're a bit happier now...repeat bootys message abt her friend over and over if not Grin

mummy DTD can't hurt and may be just the right time Grin

So not much happening here, feeling slight nausea in the afternoons and getting the stretching pains which send me into mild panic so just a waiting game. First mile stone is next weekend which gets me past point of last MC Confused

WillSantaComeAgain · 10/03/2013 07:33

Sounds like ovulation yo me, ark DTD quick quick quick Grin

fod27 · 10/03/2013 00:14

Hahaa mummy glad your smiling

It could be your hormones returning to normal....or a new pregnancy!!! That'd be fab!

Mummytothearkbuilder · 09/03/2013 23:12

Ha ha fod you have made me smile - I'm sure you will be okay Hun as you had the no entry sign!!

Not sure if you know knowledgeable ladies can help me - I have got some strange mild cramps going on this evening in my lower tummy and not sure what it is???

I have been doing my opk everyday and not had a positive yet (to be expected as I have irregular and mucho long cycles) so surely it can't be AF???? I also feel (TMI alert) "moist" down there (i keep nipping to the loo thinking I've come on) - any ideas???

My miscarriage was 3 weeks ago (15th feb) and the bleeding stopped after 1 week. I hate the lack of control I have over my body - makes me feel really down Hmm

Sorry if I sound like a complete idiot - I spoke to DH and bless him he tried but had no idea and I don't want to go to Dr Google!

Xx

fod27 · 09/03/2013 22:33

There was a clear no entry sign lol sorry again....but nothing entered me...I knowwww I'm sorry

JanieLovesCake · 09/03/2013 21:39

Heehee fod I'm sure you'll be ok if it was just a wee fumble Wink they just don't recommend full intercourse cos of the risk of infection cos you aren't properly healed up inside if you're still bleeding x
