God I love you guys! Grin

Right you lot, lets get this show on the road!
What's the Friday system? Are we synchronising pee sticks? Hmm

Thunderbuns · 01/03/2013 11:32

Morning everyone. fod and saggy, I'm so glad you're ok and the ordeals are over. This is the turnaround time now so loads of positivity your way that you can leave all this shit crap behind you.

spanish have you poas again yet?

Thank you for the postive thoughts, garden - love them!

choc I'm on cd 8 so we are almost buddies? Get rid of that bah cos this is our month!

fod27 · 01/03/2013 11:31

Glad to hear your news saggy!

Let's hope so Spanish! It would really be the light at the end of my tunnel, don't want to go home just to sleep more of my life away so I've made the fiancé take me for a drive as I am now miss daisy lol xxx

SpanishLady · 01/03/2013 11:21

Hi Fod - am so glad you are out of there and home - I really hope your recovery is fast and this becomes a very distant memory that one day you might allude to at the school gates picking up your kids (not sure why you would but point trying to be made is that you go onto have happy pregnancies!)

Saggy - I am relived to hear your good news and optimism - you have been so upset, it has come across stongly on your posts and it is horrible to think of you suffering further.

So we need the wicked AF to make an appearance and peeps to get on track with TTC so we can obsessively symptom spot and choose delicious cheese and wines 'if' mother nature takes a little time getting her strut on!

SaggyOldClothCatpuss · 01/03/2013 11:11

Fingers crossed for everyone today. Spring has sprung here too but its stil a little dirty in here. But we live in hope! Smile
Ive just been awoken from my drug addled slumbers by a doctor phoning from the EPAU. I dont need to get rescanned next week. My blood results have come back as 19. down from the stalled 145. And it seems that the anomaly on my ovary might have been a corpus luteum!
AND, I can get next weeks blood test at the GP! I dont have to go back there again! And I never am. EVER!

So come on AF, do your worst!

fod27 · 01/03/2013 11:08

Saggy- you offer has been accepted ;)
Tins - I'm crossing everythin for you xxx try not to stress and get lots of rest...thinking of you

They released me this morning, passed a humongous clot last night, I swear I thought I was going to die! Never seen so much blood before, so scared of going through it all again... May consider adoption if this happens again. Even my fiancé commented that he thought the surgeon was a trainee as she was so subdued and quiet whilst I was hemorrhaging ....as if she knew she had done something wrong ;(

Got to go the drs at 3 for a sick note and follow up plus I get to keep the sexy stockings ;0

Loved that they tried to giver contraception advice even tho it stated on my notes that I was concerned about the risks as I wanted ttc again! The surgeons are so rude and abrupt yet the nurses and porters were stars! Xx

Stay positive guys! Xxx

shellshock7 · 01/03/2013 11:00

garden I've took your positivity too far and just worked out what my maternity leave dates might be if I am PG Blush Setting myself up for a massive fall!

fod hope you had a comfortable night and are being looked after now Smile

CoffeeandCremeEggs · 01/03/2013 10:48

Hey everybody. So sorry for everybody having a shit time. I'm back on CD5 again. Bah.

fod, give 'em hell, they should DEFINITELY be giving you the good painkillers. When I had my ERPC they drugged me to the eyeballs. I was told they did it via vacuum but I never actually met the surgeon, so... who knows? Hope you're feeling better today.

baking fx for you, hope the spotting turns out to be nothing and the scan's ok.

garden yes. positivity. spring, and so on...

jmf294 · 01/03/2013 10:11

Garden- I love the positive thinking!!
Hope you are feeling better today fod and can go home for some TLC.

I am so stupid. I am 9 days PO but that is an ovulation that I think happened on day 8 of my cycle.
I was googling early ovulation last night and have decided its a bad thing.
So I decided to POAS this morning and it was negative!
I hate this, I hate waiting and waiting.
I should still be pregnant not going through this crap- as we all should be!!

alyant79 · 01/03/2013 08:47

fod how are you this morning? I hope you got a decent night and that they gave you some painkillers and sorted you all out.

JanieLovesCake · 01/03/2013 07:57

Heehee garden you've made my day!! Loving the positive vibes Grin We'll be poas buddies too as I Ov yesterday (I think).

tins glad you got a date sorted for your scan, hope things stay good x

Any poas-ers this weekend?

IBelieveInPink · 01/03/2013 07:54

I forgot it was spring! Yaay! I am also feeling optomistic and see this as a baby making sign ( not the natural progression of time, no no no)
Yay spring!

Baking, totally makes sense. Have everything crossed for you x

Bakingtins · 01/03/2013 07:33

Grin at the heron. Hope you are right.

GardenWorm · 01/03/2013 07:30

Morning! I write inspired by the legal high that is a smiley face on an opk (little things). Today is a new and hopefully a more positive day for one and all after some serious rubbish that you have been going through.
Reasons to be cheerful:

  1. It's FRIDAY
  2. Spring has sprung! It's MARCH! Hallelujah. I'm thinking spring lambs, bunnies, new buds on trees (appreciate we aren't farm animals)

In my mind the above equate to mother nature being on our side and sending some bfp's.....also I saw a heron this morning which is almost a stork right? Ha ha! Oh and I have slight cramping combined with the smiley face and a more reasonable amount of EWCM as opposed to the ridiculous amounts in previous months (they must have been drowning in it before).

Basically I am trying to share my positivity that I randomly seem to have woken up with. Hope it's catching! Smile

Bakingtins · 01/03/2013 07:30

I had intended to have a scan at this stage anyway. EPU is difficult because it's in the centre of the city and you have to be there at the crack of dawn. DH is working away and I have to get Ds1 to school and then find someone to take DS2. The private scan is at my local GP clinic and a timed appointment rather than a 3 hr wait so just easier. They've been very nice, offered me elsewhere in the area today if I wanted, or they'll refund me if it's obviously gone wrong by next week and I cancel the scan. My previous experience of this has been that the spotting is the sign something has gone wrong, but an initial scan has been ok then it's all gone tits up further down the line, so I think a scan in a week or so will be more reassuring if it shows that everything is progressing, or less likely to be falsely reassuring if it is actually going wrong. I don't know if that makes any sense but it makes me feel better to think I only have a week until I get some sense of what is happening.

SaggyOldClothCatpuss · 28/02/2013 22:48

Fingers crossed for you BakingTins.
Fod have you got your drugs yet? Want me to come break some kneecaps for you?

shellshock7 · 28/02/2013 21:45

God fod what a nightmare I really hope you are being looked after properly now.

tins glad to hear you have a scan booked and things aren't getting any worse

IBelieveInPink · 28/02/2013 21:17

Jeez I check back in today and it has all gone to shit! Wtf?!

Fod, how fricken awful. Please shout at the nearest person to you that is not fiancé! Immediately! You poor thing. If it helps, I also bled a lot after mine, but they did say it was a normal amount. :(

Saggy, hugs for you too xx

Baking, why are you paying? Will they not give you a scan? I have very much sympathy and hugs. Hope that horrid spotting goes away soon :(

Horrid. Must go get chocolate to recover from all of this :( so sorry it's been a shit day ladies.

Bakingtins · 28/02/2013 21:10

I'm ok thanks thunder. Slight spotting again today but doesn't seem to be getting any worse. Have booked a private scan for next Thursday (soonest I can be seen locally) and managed to get a semblance of calm back today it was in tatters yesterday

GardenWorm · 28/02/2013 20:42

Fod that sounds horrific, keep fighting to get what you need and want, they should not be treating you like that, start complaining now X

Mummytothearkbuilder · 28/02/2013 20:32

Excellent swearing ladies!!

Fod - they should definitely give you pain killers - cant believe they haven't offered you any!!

Xx

Thunderbuns · 28/02/2013 20:21

Hi everyone. fod, this is so terrible, I'm so sorry for you. What a nightmare. Yeah they gave me some strong pain killers and mine was very straightforward so they should be offering you whatever you need. Your poor fiancé too. Sending you Thanks.

sag, you too, poor thing. Hope you're home and recovering with some treats.

tins you ok?

shell I start peeing on opks in a couple of days. No proper poas til end march...

Hi everyone else x

jmf294 · 28/02/2013 19:52

So sorry that you are having an awful time fod- hope things settle quickly and you get home soon.
Hope you are ok Saggy- horrible for you.
Fingers crossed bakingtins
Xxx

Bakingtins · 28/02/2013 18:57

Saggy hope you are recovering ok and are at home being pampered.

Bakingtins · 28/02/2013 18:55

Fod I'm sorry you've had such an awful day. Make sure they give you some painkillers, there is no reason you should have to suffer through this. Have they checked your haemoglobin levels? I should think at the very least you'll need iron (I like Spatone, see if GP will prescribe it, it's much gentler on the bowels than the tablets) Hope you are able to go home v soon.
