I couldn't bring myself to call her a bitch, we still need her help! Come on ladies, let's do this thing....

OP posts:
alyant79 · 03/03/2013 17:05

fod I had a terrible hormone crash a couple of days after my mc, and then another one about a week and a half later. I thought after the first crash that I was past the worst, emotionally, but it turns out not. Just a heads up to be prepared, just in case.
I might be testing in 2 weeks or so... But it AF doesn't appear I might try and hold off testing, since it will be my first AF post mc it could very easily be quite late.

Bakingtins · 03/03/2013 14:21

Gald you are being looked after, Fod.

DIY thanks for thinking of me. I'm ok. Hasn't got any worse so a little more hopeful. Trying to keep busy until Thursday.

fod27 · 03/03/2013 11:36

Feeling better today, my lovely fiancé has been taking great care of me...I had a emotional day yesterday but the dr said I would be hormonal after the op. had a funny turn due to a mix up with medication so he had to bath me etc I felt awful about it but he's been amazing!

Just look forward to hearing all your baby news! Keep up the good work ladies xx

DIYandEatCake · 03/03/2013 09:35

How are you doing, bakingtins and fod?

DIYandEatCake · 03/03/2013 09:33

saggy, I'm afraid to say that my first af started like that and carried on for nearly two weeks. Grrrr. But I felt so much better afterwards, I've got some energy back and feel more 'healthy'. Hope you feel better soon too.

Right. Friday. But I'm pretty sure af will have appeared before then!

IBelieveInPink · 03/03/2013 07:36

Nope! No no no, not testing before then. Definitely not. Not me. Friday. Definitely Friday. probably

Thunderbuns · 03/03/2013 00:50

Hey all, hooray for Friday club! Come on diy you know Friday makes sense.... I wanna see two lovely bfps next friday please. who am I kidding I know you guys will test before then

saggy yes. Cramps, clots, spotting, I had all that following mmc/ERPC. Took a while to settle down but it did after a few weeks.

SaggyOldClothCatpuss · 02/03/2013 21:46

Urgh! I have been having rotten cramps all day. Had them for a day or two slightly milder, but today they're really rotten, but still no AF! I thought it had hit this morning, with a bit of blood and a small clot, but now nothing again!
Anyone else have this after their MCs? In starting to be a wee bit peed off again! Confused

Mummytothearkbuilder · 02/03/2013 21:37

Ohhhh exciting testing next week then. I am nowhere near testing but excited for you guys - fingers crossed!! Xx

SpanishLady · 02/03/2013 21:23

Whoo hoo looks like Thunders Friday testing club is reconvened!

IBelieveInPink · 02/03/2013 20:51

I am testing Friday- Pre spa trip. Will be 2 days early but I figure best to check before sitting in jacuzzi all day!
Am trying to not even think about it, but little things are making me wonder. Still, been wrong before so best just to wait and see :)

DIYandEatCake · 02/03/2013 20:34

Me next week - not til the end of the week though. If af doesn't show by thurs I'll be getting hopeful... Keep kidding myself I'm feeling queasy but probably more to do with the 6 pack of Creme eggs consumed in the last 2 days...!

SpanishLady · 02/03/2013 18:44

Happy sat night everyone!

Thunderbuns, thank you and I am beginning to think sod it myself - I can't keep dreading every trip to the loo or every ache I feel - also I have nausea not yet as bad as with my son but given i had no symptoms with the last one ( NOT that being symptom-less means anything is wrong) I feel encouraged as reminds me of my successful pregnancy iykwim

I'm not leaving here yet though I want to take you all with me......who is testing tomorrow or next week??

Thunderbuns · 02/03/2013 18:37

Hello everyone .

I'm out on the Wine tonight but thought I'd just pop in and say hi to one and all. bodicea, does sound promising indeed. Too early to test yet I guess, but fx.

*spanish^, this is great news! Sod being cautious, I'm going to say CONGRATULATIONS! Yes there is always a risk things won't work out but if we don't celebrate the good stuff then we'd go mad (or just be really Sad all the time)

Bakingtins · 02/03/2013 16:59

Most adults are immune to slap cheek without necessarily being aware they've had it. I was when I had TORCH tests after 2nd miscarriage and as far as I know I'd not had it. It's spread by close contact so I'd just sit the other side of the room and avoid any air kissing! Agree with bodicea that any potential bean will not be sharing a bloodstream with you yet anyway.

JanieLovesCake · 02/03/2013 16:05

Aw thanks bodicea, I knew it would prob be ok but just needed someone else to tell me! Now you're making mr think I should have wine tonight at book club instead of my diet cloudy lemonade!!

Bodicea · 02/03/2013 15:09

JanieNot as good as you been drinking last two nights and intend to drink this weekend as away for a bit of r n r. My principle is stop drinking once I get a positive otherwise I would be miserable every month for two weeks. I wouldn't panic about the slap cheek thingy though. Early days yet. Won't have even implanted yet!!!

*garden^ seeing my mum soon as am back!

JanieLovesCake · 02/03/2013 13:32

Liesl I meant over the 'moon' not mop!

JanieLovesCake · 02/03/2013 13:28

Yes I was so over the mop when mine came! Especially when everyone else's seemed too come after about 4 weeks!

On another note, I'm at book club tonight and my friend has just msg'd today her wee boy has 'slapped cheek' syndrome which is a virus that's isn't harmful to adults unless you're pregnant. None of them know I'm TTC and although I'm only 2dpo I'm panicking! What do I do?!?!?!

Lieslvontrapp · 02/03/2013 13:21

Thanks janie. Just rang epau and they said to wait 2 more weeks before going to gp. Guess I have to try and be a bit more patient! Really hope it comes so that I can feel like we are one step further.

JanieLovesCake · 02/03/2013 12:12

Hey liesl that's so frustrating, I really feel for you. Mine came 10 weeks after the op. it might be worthwhile calling the epu just to ask their advice, your doc may tell you to wait longer which is of zero help unfortunately.fx it shows up soon x

Hi bocicea I'm in the 2ww as well, fx! Could've really done with some wine last night but managed to stay off. This one better be a BFP!! x

Lieslvontrapp · 02/03/2013 12:00

Sorry to hear you had a bad erpc experience fod. Fingers crossed for you bakingtins.

So this is starting to drive me mad now. 9 weeks and no af since erpc! Definately going to go to gp next week. Does anyone know if they'll actually do anything or just tell me to wait longer? I just want to be able to ttc. Feels like its going to take ages to conceive at this rate!

GardenWorm · 02/03/2013 11:34

Bodicea - pay your mum a visit!!!

Bodicea · 02/03/2013 08:23

Hey guys, been a while. Been doing the deed all last week and on the two week wait now. Woke up with full boobs today. I am past ovulation stage and not due af for over a week. Do think its a good sign? My mum k new I was pregnant before me last time due to the size of boobs. Trying to use all my will power not to pee on a stick!!!

fod27 · 01/03/2013 20:26

No proba mummy....I've plenty more where that came from xxxx good luck you jammy bugger! He he hee
