Baking - so so sorry for you, hope that you are getting lots of TLC, will miss you Sad

Camo - happy birthday - as the song kind of goes "it's your birthday and you can cry if you want to" Totally normal (sadly) to be getting some up and down days.

POASers - I am DPO8 today - but not looking good as have had tiny red fleck and pinky CM today when wiping. Which I hoped was implantation last month but AF got me, so not looking good this time either as have no symptoms as far as I can tell. Will probably be joining you on Friday and wasting a hpt I bet

My cold is now onto the sticky Green snot stage (nice) - ears keep popping, but at least tonsils back to normal size. I grumble on ........

fod27 · 05/03/2013 13:11

Can you catch something from this site? Hahaa I have a banging headache and nipped the shops ....hate being fake and polite when I just want to say "shut the hell up! My head hurts and I don't want to talk to you about your petty insignificant life!" too harsh?

DIYandEatCake · 05/03/2013 13:05

I did succumb to the ov tests this month so am pretty sure of my dates. I'm scared that if it's negative (which let's face it it probably is) I'll fall into a pit of gloom again - quite enjoying thinking there is at least a possibility of pg... But I am feeling crazy and need to get this over with..

bakingtins if you're still reading, thinking of you x

DIYandEatCake · 05/03/2013 12:57

saggy Sad. Look after yourself, it's early days. Onwards and upwards.

alyant79 · 05/03/2013 12:52

I got a false negative with my DD so they do happen. Tested day AF was due, got a bfn. Had some (light) bleeding over next few days, assumed that was AF and that I wasn't pg. Only did another test 3 weeks later as a joke, and nearly fell off the toilet when I got a bfp. Thought I was only about 5 weeks, and was mightily surprised at scan to see a 7.5 week old embryo.
I didn't do any ov testing, but it must have happened late in cycle, and that's how i got a false negative.
Felt very guilty about amount of alcohol (not to mention ski trip with lots of falling over) consumed over those 3 weeks!

shellshock7 · 05/03/2013 12:15

CD26 Blush Shouldn't test till at least Thurs, but defo testing tomorrow and got a BFN 5 mins ago

SaggyOldClothCatpuss · 05/03/2013 12:14

Im joining the ranks of the feeling rough today. M neck has gone into spasm, and I hurt from ear to shoulder. I have first AF after the MC and the cramps and back ache go from waist to thighs! Sad Literally every inch of me hurts!
'The cloud' is heavy today too. Im hoping it will lift a bit when AF is over and we can start TTC again, but Im also scared it will just get worse if nothing happens.

DIYandEatCake · 05/03/2013 12:07

Wouldn't be early, af due tomorrow so shouldn't get a false negative at least...

alyant79 · 05/03/2013 11:58

DIY: we can both be crazy together.
How early would it if you poas tomorrow?

DIYandEatCake · 05/03/2013 11:57

shellshock where are you in your cycle? We could be poas buddies tomorrow... feels guilty at suggested mutiny

DIYandEatCake · 05/03/2013 11:55

bzzbee, sorry you're going through it, mc does leave you completely physically and mentally shattered doesn't it. I hope you feel better soon - for me, I noticed a real difference after first af, hope it's the same for you too.

DIYandEatCake · 05/03/2013 11:53

alyant, if you are then I am too. I am feeling thoroughly sick and it's possible that it's entirely psychosomatic. But, but... tomorrow is 14 days since ov, I have symptoms and I'm driving myself crazy. I think for my sanity I need to poas tomorrow!

alyant79 · 05/03/2013 10:38

It is official: I am crazy.
Feeling particularly hungry this morning, and the first thing that went through my mind when my tummy rumbled was not "oh, I'm hungry because I didn't eat much dinner last night" or anything sensible.
No, it was "oooh, maybe I'm pregnant!!!"
that is a ridiculous thing to think, as we only dtd for the first time after mc 5 nights ago.
Can someone please tell me that I'm an idiot??

oh, bzzbee, you're really going through the mill Sad

bzzbee · 05/03/2013 09:07

find=fight

bzzbee · 05/03/2013 09:07

Tins I am so so sorry :(

Camo I know what you are going through, don't find the weeping, it's part of dealing with this.

Quiet here due to being unwell, I had read your immune system is low after a mc and it's true for me. 4 weeks of bleeding swiftly followed by a Horrible cold followed by awful cough followed by stomach bug and a tooth ache/abscess thrown in for good measure! Plus up ALL night with dd vomiting. Honestly I am so wrecked and rundown, TTC is the last fecking thing in my mind right now!
Our luck must surely change soon ;-)

Good luck to all testing soon,
Xx

shellshock7 · 05/03/2013 09:03

'Tins' still thinking of you, I hope you are being looked after x

DIY I nearly POAS this morning?! What a joke! No way will I be able to resist tomorrow now and I've taken my 'POAS cup' up for later just in case so BFN here I come Grin

CamomileHoneyVanilla · 05/03/2013 09:01

Thanks folks. Add weeping at desk and weeping at lovely people on mumsnet to the list!xxx

alyant79 · 05/03/2013 08:50

oh no baking that is terrible news. Biggest, biggest hugs.

cam, go and drink a bottle glass of wine for your b'day, you deserve it.

And the rest of you - don't POAS until friday! There is no point! (says the gal with a whole week left until the first POAS day, who will still try and wait until friday next week, which would mean AF was 2 days late...)

DIYandEatCake · 05/03/2013 08:46

camomile yes, been there... Look after yourself and do whatever helps, those feelings keep coming back on and off for me, usually triggered by seeing a pg lady due at the same time I would have been, but it's getting easier to deal with with time.

I don't think I can wait til fri to poas, woke with another headache and still feeling sick today, I feel so like I did with dd... So am torturing myself with hope when I'm probably just coming down with a cold or something. I don't know, kind of feel like testing early is tempting fate (eg af) for me...

fod27 · 05/03/2013 08:43

Oh cam, it's only natural, have you considerd bereavement counselling? I too break down or just get incredibly angry. Can you postpone your birthday? Perhaps celebrate it at the weekend instead I'm sure everyone around you would understand xxxx

Then again it's your birthday and you can cry if you want to

Try to enjoy/ make the most of today if you can

Hugs xxxx

SpanishLady · 05/03/2013 08:17

am gutted to come on this mornign and see what has happened (Maybe?) - Baking as others have said I am so so sorry and want to thank you for your kindness and compassion when I joined the thread. Please know as someone who doesnt know you in rl that I really liked you and respected your opinion.

Thunder - tomorrow might still be good enough - the smiley just confirms is going to happen imminently - much sure DH is prepped! Hes on duty tonight!

Cam - happy birthday. I hate to hear of your sadness and do understand - I take comfort in the expression 'this too will past' even when it relates to good things passing as well as helps me to appreciate things. You will feel happy again x

Thunderbuns · 05/03/2013 08:06

Pants, got a smiley face this morning and oh away til tmw night. Damnit.

Oh dear cam, poor you. It's probably got to happen- you can't carry all that emotion round with you without it coming out at some point. I hope you can find a little ray of sunshine today.

BrieMonster · 05/03/2013 07:13

bakingtins have just caught up after ages and am so devastated for you if that's indeed the case. Obviously you seem certain so doesn't help me thinking 'are you sure?' Feeling really sad for you, so sorry.

CamomileHoneyVanilla · 05/03/2013 06:01

Really so so sorry tins. Hope you're being well looked after. Thinking of you and sending hugs.

After a few weeks of slight denial I seem to have crashed over the past few days. Weeping in the car. Weeping in the toilet. Weeping in bed @ 1--4am. You guys probably know the score. Triggered by a cold and my f&c£king birthday today which I am so not in the mood for.

Grumble grumble

jmf294 · 05/03/2013 00:03

So sorry Baking- thoughts with you xx
