diy use it to your advantage.....get the inlaws to babysit and start dogging hahaaa....needs must and all that

SaggyOldClothCatpuss · 06/03/2013 21:24

WillSanta, if that v v faint line gets darker, that's a possible new pg, fainter, just residual hCG fading away.

DIYandEatCake · 06/03/2013 21:24
Grin I would believe me, but dp has always refused point blank when his parents are in the house so could take a lot of persuading...
alyant79 · 06/03/2013 21:21

santa i'm 3 weeks past mc and still getting a bfp. It's rubbish.
Also ttc, so preparing to be very confused in a week or so if AF doesn't show up on time.
For those waiting for AF to ttc: my sister had a mc and NEVER got her AF before falling pg finally 7 months or so later. When I told that to the nurse (who was telling me to wait for AF before ttcing) she said "ok, you can start after 4 weeks, regardless of whether AF comes or not.
Have blatantly ignored her and started ttc roughly 2 and a bit weeks after mc (hoping to catch ovulation)...

choc what might the pinky cm indicate? might have had a bit myself today. what should i not be getting my hopes up about?

fod - ha!!! naughty!

Thunderbuns · 06/03/2013 21:15

You can find a way I'm sure diy shower sex

DIYandEatCake · 06/03/2013 21:11

Hello everyone - mmm, Jaffa cakes!
saggy, it's such a sad time, look after yourself. I recommend a spot of retail therapy or wine.
pink don't give up yet, don't you have a few days to go?
Still awaiting af, another bfn this morning (cd I don't know what thanks to wtf cycle but 14dpo anyway). Still feeling a bit glum.
And my fertile days next month will be right when the in-laws are staying for a few days - in our 2 bed house so dd will be our room and them right next door, don't think there's much chance!

fod27 · 06/03/2013 21:02

Even if AF hasn't arrived does that necessarily mean that your not ovulating? Can you still do tests anyway?

As I'm feeling left out of the ov testing (still bleeding from ERPC) I went out and bought 2 ov kits and pregnancy tests hahaaa your all a very bad influence on me you naughty naughty girls!

jmf294 · 06/03/2013 21:01

Isn't all the contradictory advice so irritating.
I think we all agree that we just should get on with TTC!!
Your comment made me smile Saggy- hope you are feeling brighter soon xx
Janie- rubbish post to receive. I cried when I had my 12 week scan appointment the day after my ERPC
Lyndsey- my AF was back in 3 weeks, it was not of the reasons I wanted the ERPC so things would settle quickly, but with hormones it's not always straightforward.

I have now my second period since the MC. This cycle was only 3 weeks son hope the next one will be more normal as I am sure ovulating too early isn't great.
Can you still use the CBFM if you don't have it on day 1 of the cycle to programme it. Should I get one? My other 2 successful pregnancies I conceived within 1-2 months and this last pregnancy was a surprise. Not sure what to do? Clearblue ovulation sticks or the CBFM? I want to conceive this cycle as I'm fed up of waiting already!!

Hugs and Jaffa cakes to all- I personally can't stand them and prefer cupcakes!!

shellshock7 · 06/03/2013 20:53

I still get emails and mailings from my first pregnancy so I know exactly how old that baby would be now, it still makes me a bit sad even tho I've now got DS.

I was told to wait 3m and did conceive DS after 3m so I do kinda think it might be right cos of that?! Next cycle is month 3 this time for me so we will see.

Me too pink all the signs but not arrived yet, pants isn't it Hmm

WillSantaComeAgain · 06/03/2013 20:42

Well girls, you've been busy scoffing all the Jaffa cakes I POAS yesterday hoping for a bfn but there was a v v faint line. I'm two weeks post ERPC, so surely it should negative by now? DH and I have started DTD again, even though the literature said wait three weeks, because we are sure they told us two weeks last time. But it does mean I'm going to be going nuts as I won't know if no AF = pg or just a WTF cycle.

I'm a CBFM fan here- it's been "successful" first time both times I've used it (though neither we're viable pg). They help me because it seems that I OV on about CD19- so much later than I thought. I'm generally so knackered by the evenings that DTD needs to be slightly planned.

Thunderbuns · 06/03/2013 20:36

Hi choc that's really interesting, thank you. And makes me feel a bit better seeing as we dtd 3 times in those 5 days too, just not day before or day of smiley (which are obv the better ones). Still going for day after smiley tonight though when he gets home.

I don't know about B6 I'm afraid, but I too have heard it mentioned here. What does it naturally occur in, do you know?

Have heard good things about conceive plus which does the same as preseed. Haven't used it myself (trying to stay low key here still) but I understand that only a little is needed if you know what I mean....Wink

ChocolateCremeEggBag · 06/03/2013 20:29

Lol - I have used the Vicks tip on DS all the time - never thought to try it myself!

thunder - CBFM gives you the 5 days prior to the two smiley days on a cb digi as also being fertile days. Not sure how the box does it maybe it's a con but means I have an idea further in advance.

Has anyone else heard about taking vitamin b6 supplements? I am sure I've seen threads on here mentioning it, will need to go have a look, but maybe another one to add to the list. Will also be considering some pre-seed next month, have had more pinky cm today so trying to stay neutral and not get hopes up

Hope everyone has plenty of tissues and lemsip on the go

JanieLovesCake · 06/03/2013 20:02

it's really frustrating :( sadly there's no real reason for it to be quick to return or not so there really is no use in stressing if you can help it. it'll show up when it feels like it xx

Thunderbuns · 06/03/2013 20:02

Phhhhhbbbbbbb that's annoying for both you pink and lyndsey

secretly wont accept pink's out of the running

lyndsey90 · 06/03/2013 19:48

Oh jeez. I'm going nuts here!!!!

JanieLovesCake · 06/03/2013 19:47

hey lyndsey unfortunately nothing can be done to speed it up. mine took 10 weeks

lyndsey90 · 06/03/2013 19:44

Never been so frustrated for my af to show. CD41... How long after mc did you guys get af?

IBelieveInPink · 06/03/2013 19:32

Well yes, if I ov at the usual time and my cycles are back to normal, we did about 4 times in the right period. But who knows where my cycles are.

Yes please. A Jaffa would do nicely.

Thunderbuns · 06/03/2013 19:29

Oh pants pink, that's no bloody fun is it? There is still hope though. Did you get plenty of shagfest action in this month? Wanna Jaffa cake?

IBelieveInPink · 06/03/2013 19:21

Evening all. I think that wait 6 months thing is bollocks. Just saying.
Like the Vicks tip though!

Janie- yes, what is with that?! I keep getting emails from one of the clubs, even though I have unsubscribed 3 times. When I have the energy they will be getting one hell of a complaint letter!

So, I think I am out for this month. Nothing definite yet, so I know, wait til af arrives, but starting to see all the signs. Humph. Not impressed.

Mummytothearkbuilder · 06/03/2013 19:16

Evening ladies, sorry some of you are having a rubbish day xx

Saggy - thanks for the aspirin info, that's really helpful. I asked the doctor about ttc after miscarriage and he said there is no need to wait, sometimes they suggest waiting until after first AF but he said that its just for dating the next pregnancy however a scan can do that. They told me to go for it as soon as I feel ready as my cycles are so long I could be wait 30-60 days before being able to try again!!

Xx

Thunderbuns · 06/03/2013 19:13

Isn't asparagus just about smelly wee? We don't need smelly wee around here with all the unauthorised poas..

Interestic Vicks fact- I'll try that myself next time!

JanieLovesCake · 06/03/2013 19:04

thank god that day's over. work day from hell and then came home to a 'boots parenting club' newsletter and vouchers from when i registered with them when i was pg :( ripped it to shreds. not boots' fault i suppose but REALLY boots... do you have to remind me i should be preparing a baby nursery grrrr?!

ooh thanks for the jaffa cake thunder :) just what i needed.

and camo you poor thing that sounds like the nastiest bug. i've heard vicks vaporub on the soles of your feet with a wooly pair of socks on over the top works a treat. get well soon x

thanks for the baby aspirin advice too, saggy. i was originally told that we were 'forbidden' from ttc for at least a year but only because they had misdiasgnosed me with a molar pg ... it totally floored me - i was more upset about the having to wait than the molar news...but thankfully we didn't have to wait that long in the end although we didn't start ttc for a couple of months because of their stupid misdiagnosis. defo no other reason to wait as far as my research goes so get the candles and asparagus in ;)

Thunderbuns · 06/03/2013 18:17

Evening all. Everyone ok, despite the hysteria and lurgy?

SaggyOldClothCatpuss · 06/03/2013 18:08

There is evidence to suggest that there is a LOWER risk of MC in the six months following a MC. I was reading it the other day! Ill have a look for it later. when I get up
