I missed penguins :( Though it is probably just as well, as it sounds tragic! Poor bereft mother penguin! Poor demented baybee thief penguins.

Eight hours till squirty fanny syringe. Am all worried I should be doing something to prepare (beyond having a shower, I mean). But what? Everything becomes freighted with womble-killing potential, even choice of breakfast.

I am very much enjoying watching the penguins vicariously through your posts.

No results from BE as yet - he cancelled his appt today because of stupid work and has rebooked for Thursday. If he cancels that I will actually throw a proper hissy fit and then destroy him with my space lasers

Actually I was just thinking. You can see how base an urge it is when these bereaved mums snatch a baby from the supermarket or somewhere.

The struggling with the cold was hard enough.

So in the penguin charts, the emporers are the faves, the rockhoppers are good fun, and the Humboldts are rubbish. Agreed?

norfy it is a stressful time. This time tomorrow it will all be over and there will be nothing more you have to do. That's not to say the worry ends but you will hopefully get a little more zen about it - what will be will be and all that. I felt like that anyway.
