The BESH are experts in all matters action, but specialise in taking out the local droids and sometimes Druids Wink

You will forget about it for a few weeks and then panic, I bet. Where are you doing it?

maamalady · 06/02/2013 19:35

I have an appointment confirmation letter; 12th March is indeed an IVF appointment, our very first. I am scared, and it's over a month away. What the hell will I be like in a month's time? Hmm

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 06/02/2013 19:23

Sorry I've been AWOL hags. Review appointment was a bit rubbish and pre-emptive freaking out by IVF is tantamount... So we probably won't for a while at least

Well done on the bloatingless stabbing norf

Hurrah again for jeffers and exciting about the scan date!

GRR about good tenants with crap landlords arie and the opposite for KFZK, euro. Ready to kick some ass, if need be [scary superman smiley]

Northey · 06/02/2013 18:59

No symptoms at all, euro. Where is the bloating I was "promised"? I even went riding this morning - not so much as a twinge. And dismounting does give the ovary area a hefty yank and bang. Well, the way I incompetently do it it does. Sod it. I might even have a proper lesson on Friday afternoon. First dildocam is Friday morning, btw, jeff. I'll have been stabbing for a week by then, and then I guess they'll tell me how long I need to carry on. How long did you stim for?

aries, cream carpets in a rented house are just INSANE.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 06/02/2013 18:58

Oh I forgot, he replaced the oven two summers ago, with the cheapest he could find obviously. Because there is no extraction in the kitchen, it's very damp (as well as because of the other things), and the oven is going rusty already.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 06/02/2013 18:56

I think that came in after we started here. However, when we moved in, we had to gut the place it was so filthy. He had installed wooden doors throughout, and all the kitchen was made of wood too. Only thing was, the wood was completely untreated Hmm and the house was damp, so it was growing attractive green mould. So I went through sanding and varnishing the whole bloody place. We also had to paint. I have told him the lean to against the kitchen leaks but he hasn't done anything and now the plaster and paint in the kitchen is flaking off. A house needs some bloody upkeep, for goodness sake!

EuroShagmore · 06/02/2013 18:48

That's daft!

KFZK is a complete softy landlord. He replaces anything the tenant says needs replacing (which is why the current situation grates so much). I would have thought that after 7 years the carpets would need replacing anyway. You are allowed normal wear and tear. I would say this comes into that. Is your deposit in the protection scheme?

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 06/02/2013 18:18

You're a landlord Euro. Would you be so daft as to put cream carpets throughout your property and expect them to remain pristine, despite there being no central heating necessitating constant use of an open fire? Course you wouldn't! I have spent the day trying to restore said carpets to original hue with the aid of a Rug Doctor. Conclusion: impossible. Neither has he touched the place in the seven years we've been here. If he thinks he's withholding my deposit, he's got another think coming.

Fanks Kat. I get an earlyish scan at the end of the month as we went private in the end - think it will be 7 weeks? I haven't got any internet cheapies so I am currently pissing on fivers. Limiting my habit to every other day though....

Euro that sounds like a shitty thing to have to deal with.

North how long are you mixing & stabbing for? When do you have the delights of a dildo cam?

Rie have you done your hair yet?

KatAndKit · 06/02/2013 15:06

The early days of diff are hideous for the menkul. You are very early for symptoms so try not to read too much into them. Pissing on lots of sticks will perhaps make you feel better but it won't actually tell you much. I pissed on a ridiculous amount of sticks - probably two cheapies a day for a fortnight.

Get thee booked in for Dildocam. As you have had IVF will you get an early scan automatically? If not go private. I had scans at 6 and 9 weeks and it helped me not have a mental breakdown during the first trimester.

EuroShagmore · 06/02/2013 14:06

Indeed Norfy. That is tempting.

He's a complete nutjob. He claims the flat is making him ill because it is in poor condition (it isn't, it probably needs some minor repairs but it is less than 10 years old and KFZK was living there himself until 2008, no previous tenants have complained, and it was fully redecorated 2 yrs ago). If that is the case, he should just fvk the fvk off, for the benefit of all concern (of course it isn't, he's just trying to string out living there for free as long as possible). My worry is that this will have a detrimental effect on swimmers.

On other matters, you seem to be getting on well know with the mixing and stabbing. It's not that awful once you get into it really. Have you had any side effects yet?

Northey · 06/02/2013 12:18

Sounds crappy, europa :( Does he want to hire Team BESH as evil, crack-shot hags to, erm, help matters along?

EuroShagmore · 06/02/2013 10:35

How is everyone today? I am in a marginally better mood. I was in a right grump yesterday.

We now have an additional source of stress. KFZK is an "accidental landlord" (has a flat that he couldn't sell when we moved in together at the start of the credit crunch). Current tenant has not paid rent for 3 months so he is evicting him. Yesterday he got a letter from him claiming he is at fault for everything, ever, including the health problems he suffers (he's elderly). Just what we need. The notice period expires in a few days, so he can evict him then, but that is going to involve court proceedings and of course more stress.

TWinklyLittleStar · 06/02/2013 10:13

How are you feeling now norfy?

For me, people have sort of just finished having number 1, so I think I should have a little break before the next round of diffedments.

Off for needling. CBA. Lost one of the beautiful (and expensive) gloves HWCA bought me for Christmas and incredibly pissed off with myself :(

Northey · 06/02/2013 06:02

Yes. I heard about it in the context of a friend's wife's loss, rather than an enduring pregnancy, but the fact that she was diffed in the first place (probably with perfect ease) has somehow really thrown me. I was doing really well about shutting all that sort of thing out and focussing on my own thing... I wish he had held off mentioning it for another month. Not that he could have known.

Can't be arsed to do cetrotide this morning. Can't I just go back to sleep instead?

EuroShagmore · 05/02/2013 22:39

RL people norf? I know what you mean about rattled. I'm just waiting for a couple of #2s or #3s to be announced.

Northey · 05/02/2013 22:03

Feeling unexpectedly rattled by other (non BESH) people's diffments tonight. A bit heart racy. Bollocks.

Why can't they all just STOP?

TWinklyLittleStar · 05/02/2013 21:38

Yes, vaseline the skin around where the dye will go, stops you dyeing your skin.

I had a nice evening, though didn't get to play at pub quizzing.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 05/02/2013 21:35

Vaseline? Is that what you do?

Northey · 05/02/2013 21:32

Does Sylvester Stallone worry that people will laugh at him? NO! He sallies forth clad only in combat pants and a thin veil of sweat. Now go and vaseline your hairline and get on with it!

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 05/02/2013 20:48

Not DARK as such, just darkER. My hair is artificially light at the ends at the moment because of some over-enthusiastic highlighting last November.

Besides there's no way I'll get diffed so I'm not letting that stop me. I just don't want people to laugh at me

EuroShagmore · 05/02/2013 20:46

Bear in mind that if you get diffed, you would end up with roots...

Northey · 05/02/2013 20:43

I don't know. With dark hair, nothing of the wash in wash out variety works... I quite want to try reddish henna though.

Just left work. Ugh. If I had reddish hennaed hair I would have bolshily left on time.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 05/02/2013 20:25

I want to dye my hair darker. Any suggestions on Good Dye? Maybe I shouldn't go permanent yet.
