Oi I'm not a total wuss when travelling! I'm fine in cars (reading makes me feel sick though!) and on trains, providing I'm facing the direction of travel

I think I'm just very attached to good ol' Great Britain Wink

Didn't recognise you faif. Not sure whether I like it, it's so different... (and I am MN's most conservative name changer ever).

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 10/02/2013 08:53

Grin at frank being a bit of an Anne wrt travel. I am of the euro-level I think. Just boats and cars if not driving. Although crazy buses through Indian mountains have been known to make me vom...

Also despite it being v serious, the chat on dolphin-murdereress has made me smile. Also frankly, tinned tuna tastes like cat food. If you have to have tuna, have a line-caught steak, HMMM.

Right, I was working. But not all of today! I am off to enjoy the sun soon!

ItsMutinyOnTheBunty · 10/02/2013 08:37

(Oh it's Faith with a random NC by the way! I might change it back yet!)

ItsMutinyOnTheBunty · 10/02/2013 08:37

Step away from Knocked Up - a bizarre film at the best of times and all about instadiffers.

I have always pushed to purchase dolphin friendly tuna but watched Hugh's fish fight where they traced back from tin to boat to find half of them were lying anyway Confused

I have come away to catch up with my friends my 6th form. Tis luffly. Did have random memory of being in same pub as two years ago, crying in the loo because I guessed one friend was diffed after about four months TTC. Her baybee boy is now 18 months old. Was reminded about that by a comment above too. I guess I am just grateful for what I do have.

Rie I have the same mindset as you - we never do things by halves - health problems mean we're both under consultants, I've been admitted twice in the last year, house caught fire etc. never do things the easy way in our house! Try to hold on to the hope that things will turn around. I am actually having a fairly easy pregnancy cept the little monkey went really ruddy quiet yesterday when I am two hours from home! Curry was the only thing that really got her moving :)

maamalady · 09/02/2013 23:27

Thanks for hugs and fish, guys :) We've been out for dinner with friends, men are great as they go "ooo new baby news" and then talk about other things, hurrah.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 09/02/2013 23:06

Will I watch Knocked Up?

EuroShagmore · 09/02/2013 22:21

frank I'm also terrible on boats

I used to get pukey on anything that moved. These days I am largely fine on planes barring one horrific landing in Dublin in strong winds a couple of years ago when everyone stepped off the plane looking actually green and trains - I can read and everyfink - but not so good in cars (unless driving) or on boats.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 09/02/2013 22:18

I thought you'd appreciate my lack of sea legs Rie Grin

Oh dear Frank Grin

Jeffers, it was before the war when Lebanon was a luffly place.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 09/02/2013 22:00

I'm not a fan of flying. I'm not scared, but I just don't like it. Plus I get travel sick

Beirut Rie? What were they doing there?

JethroTull · 09/02/2013 21:57

I fucking love Game of Thrones Northey. Have you read the books?

Now we are watching Worlds Most Dangerous Flights on Discovery. I am going to bed.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 09/02/2013 21:50

My mum and dad had to assume the crash position once, when landing in Beirut. Mum's been a loon about flying ever since. Or maybe sane.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 09/02/2013 21:46

I am watching the plane crash thing on More 4. I may never get on a plane again after this

Shark murderer.

Casserole · 09/02/2013 21:38

SHARKS

Casserole · 09/02/2013 21:38

I can't believe my tuna pasta has murdered SHARKS.

Casserole · 09/02/2013 21:37

I have failed. The happy dolphin is their only claim. There is NOTHING about sharks.

Northey · 09/02/2013 21:34

I just watched an episode of Game of Thrones on dvd. I am now going to bed. Rock and roll.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 09/02/2013 21:33

Oh god, men and their channel flicking.

I'm watching The Full Monty. Again.

JethroTull · 09/02/2013 21:12

Some digital thing.SSG has this annoying habit of flicking through channels, watching 10 mins & changing it again! I have the iPad & fig rolls though Grin

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 09/02/2013 21:03

Oh Cass you do make me larf.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 09/02/2013 21:02

I've been watching Crocodile twatting Dundee II when there were penguins on? What channel?

JethroTull · 09/02/2013 20:50
