Trudat.

Northey · 10/02/2013 19:50

We are all nuts, bugsywugsy. Every. Single. One of us.

EuroShagmore · 10/02/2013 18:06

Evening hags.

My work got done eventually, this afternoon. I was planning to do it as soon as I got up, at 8am, so I didn't have to think about work for the rest of the day. So much for best laid plans...

I've been ordering KFZK's birthday presents online while he snoozes on the sofa. Rock n roll, hags, rock n roll.

Faif is back - prefer you this way :)

Been for a run, laundry is on, oven is on, SB is not here. Vegging on the couch with the papers and some crochet is the rest of today's plan. No more activity necessary.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 10/02/2013 15:22

Ooh too controversial a NC it seems! :) it was an accident really. I used that NN to get advice in chat (about travelling this weekend) putting in more detail more detail than I normally would. Funnily enough, my sister recognised me instantly :) I forgot the NC was still ongoing when I posted half asleep this morning.

I am home from my adventuring. 'twas luffly but luffly to be home now.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 10/02/2013 15:20

Go to sleep in front of the rugby. It's shaping up to be quite soporific.

JethroTull · 10/02/2013 15:17

I tried charting but it just pissed me off that on paper I seemed to be normal but still wasn't getting pregnant.

It's pouring with rain here. I've been to my mum & Dad's for lunch & now I can hardly keep my eyes open.

Northey · 10/02/2013 14:22

Charting is no good for polycystic ovaries, so I am freeeeee of any need to wonder if it would help.

Has bugsy been around anywhere today or is she sworn off mn for a while?

EuroShagmore · 10/02/2013 11:42

Oh, I'm a charting fan too. I like that it usually gives me a bit of warning before Droid arrives. I like to have confirmation that I have oved so we can ease of the obligation shags for the month. And seeing the temp rise gives me some comfort that my body is doing what it should. But I get that it stresses some people out.

EuroShagmore · 10/02/2013 11:40

I am A Noid. Got up early to work this morning. Someone has checked out the doc I need to work on on our doc management system, which means I can't access it. I just wanted to be done with work for the weekend by about 10am so I feel like I get at least one day off this weekend. Meh.

FriendofDorothy · 10/02/2013 11:38

I found charting really helpful. It meant that when my temps dropped I knew the droid was on it's way and i dealt with it then.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 10/02/2013 11:38

I know. It's different for everyone and all that x

I'm planning on rugby watching this afternoon as well. I am entirely neutral about this result, seeing as I had my good one yesterday Grin

I hated charting! I did it for three months in 2011, concluded I ovulated roughly when I thought I did and binnend it. I found it a bit much to be confronted by TTC before leaving bed. It would be more interesting now, since my cycles have become fairly fucked since mc (and I really should check my LP length) but I just can't be bothered.

Work is done, into the outside world I go, and the sun has disappeared whilst I was working, stamps feet.

Sorry evil Sad

Temping has its good and bad points, but I'm generally in favour of it when it says what I want

OP posts:
maamalady · 10/02/2013 11:22

Generally I find temping to be the opposite of a headfuck, rie, as it makes me feel that I can do something rather than be completely helpless. It's just when it does something out of the ordinary that I get confused - but it doesn't do it all that often, at least.

I am curled up on the sofa with tea and a fic to preread for a friend, it's all quite cosy. And England play Ireland this afternoon too, which is always a good thing :)

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 10/02/2013 11:13

At the risk of sounding like I'm trying to be clever, that's one of the reasons I decided not to temp, draf apart from being too lazy anyway. The whole thing is already too much of a headfuck, so looking at temps on a graph would actually send me round the bend.

:( though, you poor thing. Have a hot toddy and a duvet day

maamalady · 10/02/2013 10:50

Temp has spiked again, presumably related to the fact that I feel like death warmed up, headachey and sore throat etc. Also, droid has arrived, the bastard. It's not exactly unexpected, but I am raging and teary anyway.

IT'S NOT FAIR Angry

Northey · 10/02/2013 10:33

Well, I suppose we all got used to phoenixfromtheflames. Still, if aries accepts it :)

Is it sunny where you are, lemonista? It's pouring here.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 10/02/2013 10:22

I was about to shout WHO IS THIS IMPOSTOR WHO TREATS ME SO FAMILIARLY??? Glad *Faif put the second post up!

Re: the fish, I've found that to be sure, it's best not to eat any unless it's stuff I or someone I know has caught themselves. Something I appreciate isn't practical for everyone....

Knocked Up was unutterably bizarre. But I did watch it all.
