Put on your vest/shades and grab your weapons, it's Action Hero Time.

The BESH are experts in all matters action, but specialise in taking out the local droids and sometimes Druids Wink

Cover me, I'm going in!

Oh bloody hell. That made even less sense than most of my posts. You wouldn't think I was in a job where wordsmithing is important, would you?

EuroShagmore · 15/02/2013 10:57

He's lovely frank! It's not quite on the same scale, but after looking for about a year (and borrowing KFZK's in the meantime) I have been looking for the perfect running jacket. It was delivered late last week. And will sit in the cupboard for a loooong time (hopefully). I am still exercising but I have stopped running because I hit my max heart rate quickly even on a moderate jog, so I am worried about overheating.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 15/02/2013 10:52

Congrats on the job for MrA, is it in his regular field of expertise or something else?

I've found another horsey I want. This one. Apparently the dealer has a very good reputation and is recommended by other MNers. Surely buying a horse is a guaranteed route to an ironidiff Wink

jeff when is the scan and how far will you be? I am still having no symptoms, other than the hurty boobs (which could be due to the progesterone in the pessaries) and insomnia. My scan is 2 weeks yesterday. Time is moving s-l-o-w-l-y.

bugs how are you doing today?

Rie thanks for the sticky thoughts. And hurrah for MrA's job hunting!

JethroTull · 15/02/2013 10:38

7 is bloody brilliant! Everything crossed they keep doing what they're meant to.

Euro I did not realise my odds were so low! We had a day 3 transfer. I'm not at all convinced this bean is doing anything though. No symptoms & my boobs don't hurt as much as last week. I'm trying not to think about it until the scan Confused

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 15/02/2013 10:35

How are you this morning our BugsyMalone? xxxx

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 15/02/2013 10:26

Well done Norf 7 fertilised is very impressive. Do your clinic have a policy about how many they will put back?

Glad to hear the spotting has stopped Euro

And of course hugs and hair strokes for Bugs

EuroShagmore · 15/02/2013 10:19

No more spotting yet today and the dull ache in my womble area has stopped, so I hope it was just doing some burrowing yesterday! The darker stick this morning gave me some comfort. The "problem" with IVF is that because you are taking synthetic progesterone, it can artificially make everything stick around even if it's all gone wrong, so the only guide you have that things are going the right way is the sticks/blood tests.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 15/02/2013 10:13

:) Well go BarryOs!

I have one solitary Internet cheapy hidden in the cupboard I could send you drizz?! I resisted the temptation to do that 12th test

That's good news euro, any more leakage?

Assuming you're lurking bugs, I will simply

EuroShagmore · 15/02/2013 10:11

Oooo, interesting frank.

faif it differs from clinic to clinic, but roughly there is about a 50% chance of success from a blast and a 20-30% chance from a 2 or 3 day transfer. I think the theory is that they can better identify the good ones at 5 days, plus, if they have survived that long in an alien lab environment, they are probably hardy little fvkers. One of the reasons I was so pessasmistic last week is that natural only has about a 20% success rate and a 2 day transfer only has a 20% success rate, so the odds were really against it working for us.

drizz! I have an out of date CB digital I could post you? I haven't bothered to use it. I am currently preferring broadening my gallery of internet cheapies (slightly darker this morning - phew). I've never been one for collecting things, but it is nice to have a hobby. Grin Although I think KFZK is a bit grossed out by finding pissy sticks all over the bathroom. Oh well, he's better get used to being grossed out and bodily fluids being everywhere!

Northey · 15/02/2013 10:02

I think it was something like when they get to day 5, embryologists can tell which ones are more likely to stick, whereas before then they are all much of a muchness. We have said one or two to go back.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 15/02/2013 09:58

Very interesting chart Frank. Just restraint on your part

Ooh drizz. Two lines on an out of date ov stick eh? Can't you nip to Poundstretcher for a cheapy?

Well done Norf's eggs! I assume (naive about these things) that blastocysts are more developed therefore more likely to stick? How many will they transfer maximum?

Northey · 15/02/2013 09:55

lem, I iz unskilled in the ways of O sticks, but is this that thing where you can use them instead of fivers???

Northey · 15/02/2013 09:54

All seven eggs have been fertilised! I have seven embryos! So definitely no transfer tomorrow, and they will call on Sunday morning to tell us if they want us to come in for it then, or whether we can wait till Tuesday for a day 5 blastocyst transfer!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 15/02/2013 09:40

That sentence makes NO sense. I thought I'd binned all the out of date sticks of any variety. Spotted the O-sticks this morning and failed to put them back where they belong (in the bin). Instead weed over one of them...

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 15/02/2013 09:38

Morning hags!

How are you feeling today bugs? Thinking of you...

Congrats on the twin-cousins dot!

Finger crossed for good fertilisations norf.

Nice chart frank!!!

I am menkulling. I thought I felt diffed so I peed over an o-stick, which I didn't bin but hid behind the tampons, to stop myself from imagining stuff but there was a line. It is not a proper fiver and I am not due til Sunday (waves at frank) so SB won't condone any fiver wasting before Tuesday...

Northey · 15/02/2013 09:24

I am waiting for the clinic to phone and tell me if any embryos have fertilised. I'm also wondering how soon I can have my morning poo after putting in my progesterone suppository (oh the glamour) without losing half the dose. Any advice welcome.

TWinklyLittleStar · 15/02/2013 09:11

Fair enough frank. Hope you have a busy weekend planned so the menkulling doesn't drive you too mad.

How is everyone else this morning?

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 15/02/2013 09:00

Nope, I'm being strong and waiting until droid is overdue, which will be Monday at the earliest.

Northey · 15/02/2013 08:33

Northey · 15/02/2013 08:07

Blimey, frank!

JethroTull · 15/02/2013 07:45

That chart is pretty impressive Frank.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 15/02/2013 07:39

I'm not menkulling. Oh no, not me Confused

OP posts:
HavingALittleFaithBaby · 14/02/2013 22:38

Sounds like fair timing Twinks. There's only so much you can do. Those throes of passion disappear when trying to win a baybee. I do recall one time when we did the sechs 7 days in 8. Didn't win a baybee though because no treatment had been had then The sechs is quite a rarity in our house now yes there have been mutterings about not being needed any more mostly because my undercarriage is rather sore....

Norf I have had to work quite hard on my pelvic floor the last few months Blush. I dunno what happened really but whenever I post in conception I tell them to get on it as soon as droid disappears rather than timing the sechs based on my experience!
