TTC for the first time

Hey everyone me again, on this thread for the 2nd month running lol. So I ovulated last Friday, but was getting positive opks on Thursday and Friday? weird? Anyway can't test till next Friday at least but have been feeling a few wee twinges feels like ovulation cramps? weird or a good sign? x

Hello, new to this. Am 26 and last month me and my partner decided to see what happens and in my head we are trying!
I am pretty intone with my body and my cycles work like clock work! Never been on the pill and af comes right on time every month. We dtd every day of my fertile period 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th(ovulation day) and every other day til now. I have been exhausted since the 10th and on the 15th started to feel so sick(but not actually sic) i have taken lots of tests all bfn but something isn't right! Am due af tomo.

Hi! We're TTC for the first time too! We've been going at it for 9 months and nothing :( Doctor is testing me for infertility...if anything is wrong it's probably me because DH has a daughter from a previous marraige. This is stressful! Is it always this stressful?!

Cant believe im saying this... I got a BFP! Friday morning on CB digital test.... had been testing everyday since 1st day of missed AF.

Good luck to everyone else.. hopeto I was late 5 days before getting my BFP! I only had cramping, no spotting but the BFP finally arrived!

Can anyone advise about the GP appointment? Going tomorrow night after work, do I need to take a urine sample with me? Someone at work thought I should but don't want to pee in a cup if I don't have to...

Thanks everyone for ur knowledge. I'm still suffering cramps but no other symptoms. I still have not had a positive on the OPK its CD 28 today and the spotting has stopped so ill keep u updated whether I get AF or I test pos on hpt on what should be wk 5 in 1 1/2 weeks time

Hopeto fx it isn't an early af. I've suffered with spotting ever since I came off the pill 2 years ago, I tried reflexology for the first 2 weeks of this cycle and no spotting this month! I would recommend it if you have the time/money to do it

Well AF has arrived today! So onwards and upwards! At least now I know my cycles are a more regular 34 days as opposed to jumping all over the place.

I'm 26 DH 30 We are TTC our 1st. I have irregular periods spotting all the time and not sure when or if i ovulate. I recently had a D&C and all came back fine and i have hypothyroid which is at a good level due to my thyroxine. I had my first proper AF on the 19th march and it ended on the 3rd april (15d) I started tracking OPK on the 5th but no positives so far. I'm confused because i've been really tired sleeping 7hrs night and 5 hrs naps in the day, ive also been having headaches and brown spotting the last few days when i wipe. Do you think its possible I O while on my last days of period? my Hubby and I have been at it since the 4th. I tested negative on hpt but will try again in a week. Fingers crossed but may be AF coming early. Ive never been a short cycle kinda girl always 40 day cycles plus.

Just ordering some ovulation sticks to use this cycle. AF arrived this evening (35 day cycle this time).

AF = Aunt Flo (period)
BFN = big fat negative when taking a pregnancy test
BFP = big fat positive
CD = cycle day
CB = clearblue, a brand of pregnancy test and fertility monitor
CM = cervical mucous
DTD = doing the deed

Hello, complete newbie and don't get the lingo. What is AF, BFN, BFP, CD...., CB?? I am 35 and was on depo jab until december (jab due 6th dec but didn't have it) no proper period as yet.

Fingers crossed Wakey. Try to keep your mind off it as much as you can though (which is not very much, if you're like me).

BFN again. I'm on CD34. AF came cd33 last month.
Will wait a week I think and test again if AF doesn't show.

Wasted a CB digital as well I was so convinced! Back to symptom spotting!

Hi Angel, know what you mean about it getting you down. I went mad looking at baby stuff now that OH said we are officially TTC, and now feel v blue and stupid for getting excited!
