Thecat- We all feel your pain about how quickly everyone else seems to get pg- I've had the SIL asking when we'll have babies- and we're keeping it all 100% secret, so I couldn't say "well, we've been trying since before you started trying"- she's got an 8 week old baby! Life is confusing and frustrating but the work will be worth it :)

I have been TTC #1 since Aug. Still having random AFs so finding it hard to track ov etc. Just started taking agnus castus and hope it will regulate things.
Sunny I had a strange AF like that a few weeks as after coming off microgynon, then had a proper AF 2 weeks later. Not had it since though. In fact I'm currently on day 46 of this cycle and no sign of the witch.

Good to know. I've been off depo for 17 months and am on my fourth proper cycle now. My cycle has been short and sweet so far (a bit lighter than it was before I started the depo) at 28 days total and I've barely seen anything apart from a bit of spotting over the last 2 days.
Might be worth trying the OPKs to see when I'm ovulating (we're dtd every other day from about day 7-14 ish?)

fl0 my second AF after coming off the pill was so light i missed it, i thought it was spotting, think it took a little while for my hormones to sort out.....so frustrating!

So my infection has gone right back down, almost over night. Really strange. Still on antibiotics just to be safe. I feel so silly for thinking it was AF. Maybe I'm a bit obsessed...

But I guess that means I'm out or this month. I didn't use opks for the last 2 days and I've never had a positive so no idea if/when ov'd. And right now dtd is the very last thing I feel like!!

Hi everyone!

I've been lurking checking out these threads for a few months but have never posted as I didn't want to become obsessed about TTC (My DH is worried that I'm thinking about it too much, not relaxing and therefore not helping ttc!) I'd love some friendly support and advice - and you lot seem lovely!!!

I'm 30 and have been ttc since coming off the pill in October. Haven't had AF since then. Had signs I may have ovulated in Dec (and got very excited!) but still no AF. Have POAS each time my AF should have been due. All negative. Started using OPK's this week. All negative. Going to the docs in a few weeks as I was diagnosed with PCOS about ten years ago and I suspect it's back.

Has anyone else not had AF for three months, or longer? What did the doctor do/say?

I'd also like to know if anyone has tried Pre Seed and where the best (cheapest!) place was to buy it.

All of my friends seem to just wink seductively at their DH's and get pregnant. Had to recently listen to a friend whinging that she got pregnant too soon!

Will make do with cuddles from my cat for the time being.

MotherofCleo that does sound like fun...exhausting too! your OH will be delighted! I have to email the dates of dtd to my DH each month...he has to work to a plan apparently !!!!!

thanks hoping we are trying a version of smep this month, although we started at cd7 and had a sneaky on cd4 but from cd11 to cd18 we are going for everyday the OH doesnt know this yet then back to every other day for a week.....fingers crossed it works! It will certainly be fun an exausting heres hoping huh

hope your bladder infection is clearing up & you are feeling better.
The smep is Sperm meets Egg Plan....will post it at the bottom of this thread. Looks quite tiring but seems to be quite successful from my research! fingers crossed it works for us. I am also using the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor (cbfm)to see my highs, peaks and ovulation window. Plan to use Pre Seed during my peak days too...has anyone else used this?
Started taking Pregnacare conception about a week ago but it has been giving the most horrific headaches...anyone got any tips of how to avoid the headaches?

SMEP:

The Plan

Short Version:

"Try" every other night starting Day 8
Buy 10 ovulation predictor kit sticks
Begin ovulation testing on Day 10
When test is positive, "try" that night, plus two additional nights in a row
Skip one night, then do one last "try"
Take a home pregnancy test 15 days after your ovulation test was positive, if your period has not begun
If your ovulation test never goes positive, continue "trying" every other night until Day 35, then do a pregnancy test if your period has not begun.

Hey everyone - been away for a while as been busy at work! AF finally came on fully on Friday after 3 days of dark brown blood. It's all finished now so back on to Dtd for this month. Ov expected next week so Dtd last night and will be trying to do it every other night for next couple of weeks. Also brought concieve plus to see if hat helps!

Tmi warning...

Turns out it wasn't menstrual blood but actually blood in my urine. Frickin scary as there were clots and everything... Just been to the doc who says it is an 'aggressive bladder infection' and not to panic and prescribed antibiotics...told him I was ttc so he made sure they were safe for early pregnancy just in case... I guess you never know! :)

honni I always spot around day 16 of a 30ish day cycle. sometimes the blood is v light, pink and lasts a day. But sometimes I get heavier red/ dark clots. Have been to docs and she was not worried. Said it was common. She gave me a refferal letter to make an X-ray appointment at the hospital , but been v lazy and not done it yet!

This is our first month ttc and due to start dtd on Sunday (cd8), we decided to follow the smep and use a cbfm so fingers x'd these two work! anyone else using the smep and cbfm?
