Hey. Newbie here! Been TTC for 4 cycles. Got married in the summer which delayed TTC but full steam ahead now. If I'd have known how difficult it would be, would have started years ago! Hoping that sharing the journey with some fellow tryers might make it a little easier. Feeling pretty fed up about it at the mo

Yes MoC, pre seed is same as conceive plus. Am yet to use it but going to try tmrw as tonight is a well earned night off!!
haven't told DH I bought it yet & wasn't planning to tell him I was using it either so I guess I'm trying to find out if it's much different to not using it!!? Maybe tmi!!!

Hmm yeah I agree with block I think if AF doesn't arrive by the weekend I'll poas again. DH is on nights ATM and he likes to be there when I do it (bless him).

Oh really thunder I didn't realise you were meant to stop...doh. I thought it was a short surge especially as some people miss their surge at least you've put my mind at rest and I know it's normal. I still have no OV pains so I'm not OVing yet, makes me feel better about not DTD this morning

I think this is why they say stop after the first one, Moc, I had it for 3 days!

Hum, so I just did another OPK and it's positive again, is it usual to have a positive OPK two days running?

Well post mmc I don't really know where I am but if this cycle is my first back to normal one, I'll be due to poas myself this weekend!

HAHA I'm starting to have second thoughts about you thunder! Are you sure you don't supply the shops with Pg tests? and come on TTC threads to encourage people to POAS? haha

Oh block and pink, this is rubbish. You poor things having to wait sooo long. Are either of you tempted to poas again?

Hey Pink, Nope, still nothing happening here either. Although I did make a doctors appointment. I will be 3 weeks late by then, and I think that is enough time to wait!

I rang the NHS line thingy to ask how long to wait before making a appointment so I didn't sound crazy rushing off to the GP, and she said that most symptoms don't start till about 8 weeks, and although positives are 99.9% right, negatives aren't as reliable. So there is always hope! :) She also said that It says on the test box's to go to the GP after a week if no AF and no +ve - Opps! she made me feel like a school girl! She even went on to explain about the egg meeting a sperm In case I didn't know how it worked!!

• Feeling a bit down at the moment though, With the stress and excitement about moving to the US, then that being put on hold - no AF, but no BFP, I just feel like I cant plan anything - and this stupid Ice/snow means my weekend plans are cancelled - My horse's rehab sessions are put on hold. :( Just feel so lost at the moment.

hi hoping i hope so, dtd last night, was going to wake the OH for a sneaky one this morning too but im too pooped and he doesnt have to be up for another 3 hours so doubt it would go down well. Yep, everytime since I got it so from about cd7 i think, he doesnt know, i go to the loo before bed and apply some inside then figure by the time we dtd it will have had the 10-15 mins they advise.....fx it works for us. Is pre seed the same sort of thing?

Any sign of AF block? I'm still waiting. Day 48 now :( been taking agnus castus for 5 days and feel a but crampy. Something's going on in there! Tempted to poas again just in case but I know its a long shot. Already done 3 since last AF.

I second that Thunder, MoC I think you're in with a great chance & those swimmers will be there waiting! Will keep fingers & toes crossed for you.
Are you using the conceive plus every time you are dtd?
I am on cd 10 and was planning to use pre seed on my high & peak days but have read that it is good to use it earlier in the cycle too?

Hey MoC, I don't know lots about opk but if you dtd on CDs 9, 11 and 12, then those swimmers ARE waiting aren't they?! But yeah just keep going now and for the next couple of days I think is the advice. Sounds like you're in with a great chance....

Ok, you ladies are the font of all knowledge and I need to drink from the font. I've been doing OPKs since sat which was CD10, now on CD13 and I have got a positive OPK, I wasn't expecting a positive till tomorrow or Thursday

Yeah I'll have a bit of your chocolate rasberry, if there's any left! Have decided to concentrate on remaining calm and will step away from the sticks now as they only add to the confusion.

block any af news? Have you contacted the doc/decided to poas again?

Just did a second poas ("in case!")- 2 lines before I'd even flushed... so that's made me feel more secure. Thanks all for being so supportive. xx

fl0 have a look in the ante natal clubs and find a friendly bunch? Don't disappear completely though! Re docs, in my experience they don't do much anyway- mine just said congrats, made sure I was on the folic acid and referred me to the midwife but I ended up referring myself anyway Not much more happens til you pass the 8 week mark in my area at least.

I'm confused today, I thought I was around 7dpo after getting +ive on opks last week. I stopped using them after it went negative a few days later. Now just done another one and it looks +ive. On top of this, I think sonething hormonal is going on because after getting hair cut and coloured on Sat, the colour hasn't taken properly. So I rang my hairdresser today (a friend) who immediately asked if I had my af or anything as she often sees hormonal effects on hair colour working or not.

I know I'm a bit messed up after mmc but I don't know what to make of it all! And not sure what to do now, start using opks again I guess. I thought af should be due this weekend, am now on cd 23 and usually have 29 day av cycles. Any advice out there?! (sorry for long rant)

Thanks you lot! I need to work out what's next. My lovely Dr doesn't work on thur which is the only day I can make it (i work in a different town and commute a long way). And do I need to graduate to a different thread?

I'm just starting the 2ww. May try to DTD tonight as well just yo be sure! This is our 1st TTC cycle and DH has been too ttired and stressed with work to do it regularly. Bad timing! Im not liking my chances this month as we just haven't done it enough. But it only takes one sperm!

Welcome pinkapple - I'm on day 43 of my cycle too! - I'm getting annoyed so might give the Dr a ring this afternoon to see if they can do anything to help it along.
