Yes rache - agree the baby will just be in a funny position, am sure all is fine. But like hazle, I cannot allow myself to get one due to the inevitable panicking!

mother - how bloody annoying for you. It's so frustrating when it's like this, just com, AF, you old boot, or don't! Must be like torture waiting Sad

HazleNutt · 03/01/2013 11:29

Rach even my doc had a bit of trouble findning the heart beat last time, so probably nothing to worry about (and a reason I really should not get a doppler myself, would be panicking every time).

mother any change?

MotherOfCleo · 03/01/2013 09:23

Cramps but still nothing, just pinky brown spotting....grrr I'm getting so frustrated now. I'm going to test on Saturday if I have nothing more by then.

Bunnygirlie · 03/01/2013 08:39

CD7 here, think we need to DTD this weekend to take some pressure off next week/weekend!

If apps are right then AF due end jan, few days after my birthday, I wonder what kind of prezzie I will be getting Confused

OP posts:
Pipbin · 03/01/2013 00:46

I know what you mean Mother. After that kind of spotting and a BFN , you just want AF to turn up and get it over and done with.

CD 8 here and we've already DTD twice, for fun!

MotherOfCleo · 03/01/2013 00:37

arghhh still no AF.....cramps but nothing else, this morning was more than spotting though....confused. Hope my body makes up its mind overnight and figures out what the heck is happening by morning...getting frustrated now! Sad

Boodle9 · 03/01/2013 00:08

I'm on CD 10 too (well, technically 11 now its after midnight). Avoided OBEM too but not for the same reason as you, twinkle Grin

twinklestar2 · 02/01/2013 23:28

I avoided OBEM as we had to dtd tonight and I didn't want to be sad for it!

On cd10 and first dtd of the month done.

MotherOfCleo · 02/01/2013 23:20

rache try not to panic. viv that sucks, feel for u

viviennewestwould · 02/01/2013 23:04

Hmmm...One Born was difficult to watch tonight when I realised that last year I watched almost the entire series pregnant Sad

Rache1S · 02/01/2013 22:50

Bunny I always watched the last series with a large glass of wine. I found it was much more bearable enjoyable that way as we weren't TTC at that point but I knew we were going to start soon. Grin

Janey the surprisingly good odds are just another example of my pregnancy giving with one hand and then taking away with the other..... I opened the envelope to the good news and then 10 minutes later couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler Confused I can hear the placenta really loud though so I'm not panicking yet and hope it's just because baby is pointing his arse at me today. It seems that finding that galloping horse is a bit of a precise science.

Viv your DSS sounds like an absolute, ahem, pleasure. Grin

Bunnygirlie · 02/01/2013 22:27

Not sure if I'm going to watch One Born, might be upsetting now I'm TTC. I know I would def not watch it if I was PG as it would freak me out.

Anybody else joining me in DTD week next week? Do I have a cycle buddy?

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 02/01/2013 22:27

mother this is sounding pretty hopeful so fx.

MotherOfCleo · 02/01/2013 22:13

me neither twinkle all gone again now...had 2 bloody wipes and nowt else.....grr wish my body would sort itself out!!!! Had cramps all evening but theyve come to nothing so far.

twinklestar2 · 02/01/2013 20:28

:( mother. Don't know what's going on :(

MotherOfCleo · 02/01/2013 20:09

viv that is weird! Dont envy you their!

God I have epic cramps but AF still isnt showing her face, grrrr come on witchy I know you're their lurking, stop playing with me lets get this over with! Sad

janey1234 · 02/01/2013 20:00

Rache that's amazing - I was overwhelmed with my odds of 1 in 3692 but that's impressive!

Quodlibet · 02/01/2013 19:52

Thanks Boodle

Great news on blood tests Rach and Hazle.

Boodle9 · 02/01/2013 19:24

Good to hear that your blood test results were OK, Hazle.

Quod, I'm pretty new here, but so sorry to read about your, quite frankly, shitty end to 2012; I hope that "hormonal fallout" doesn't happen and that you recover quickly and get back on track with things.

OBEM's back? Best ask DH to hide the remote; I'm not up for a sobfest!

janey1234 · 02/01/2013 19:14

Yes viv, I shall be watching and totally shitting myself too. Has always made me sob - suspect I will be even worse now with all the hormones, argh.

Have decided that jan and feb are ridiculously gloomy months, and that the only way us elderberries can possibly get through it is with lots of BFP's. here's hoping!

viviennewestwould · 02/01/2013 19:05

Oh, went to see The Impossible today at the cinema. Take my advice and wait for the DVD.

viviennewestwould · 02/01/2013 19:04

Rache, I wish I could say I was tender-hearted towards my DP's son but he's a weird little fucker who still shits his pants at seven and steals from my coin collection (I've only saved about 86p but, still..)

Anyone joining me for One Born Every Minute tonight? [sigh]

Aquarius1 · 02/01/2013 17:22

mother sounds intriguing - hope its a good sign!!

pip I saw that episode - me too- maybe you could ask while you're having your l&d Wink

Rache1S · 02/01/2013 16:33

Viv I completely agree that access to IVF should be based on individual circumstances and health rather than a flat cut off. Doesn't the NHS know that 40 is the new 30?! I keep telling myself as I hurtle towards it. I also have a DSD which means that I probably wouldn't get help if I needed it, which I also think is ridiculous. As much as I love my DSD, having her around for a few days a week could not possibly satisfy my own fundamental desire to have my own baby with DH and I imagine most other childless step-mums feel the same.

Oooo Mother, I was just about to say commiserations on AF but it sounds like the fat bitch might not be singing after all. Fingers crossed!

Well we arrived home this morning to a letter telling us our Down's risk is 1 in 100,000, which is reassuring and only leaves a thousand other possible problems to worry about.

MotherOfCleo · 02/01/2013 13:00

now I'm confused, what I thought was the start of AF this morning certainly looked like it is now just pale pink CM, not even reached the liner yet. WTF is going on? I have a BFN on my test did one this morning before I realised the witch was in town I do have some cramps so maybe it will turn into more but it usual starts with a vengeance if you know what I mean
Ahhh why is my body such a drama queen?!?
