Good luck tomorrow Pip
Sorry about AF Navis..
Hello 2cats
Nice to see you Janey!

I'm off for my MRI scan tomorrow, hoping they decide what The Mysterious Lump actually is, and what they're going to do about.

DH has filled in his CBT form, I'm dropping it off for him tomorrow. He has also said he's going to take a whole day off work next week to sort out SA, blood test and everything, so fx he sticks to that. He seems pretty determined, and I might even book the blood test for him tomorrow too.

We make progress.. slowly slowly catchy monkey. Wink

Viv lol at the silver fox! I once had a very beautiful dentist and it was SO off putting. Trying to look attractive with implements shoved in my gob Confused - I can't bear the thought of a good looking gynae - trying to look attractive with implements shoved in my fanny!Shock

twinklestar2 · 16/01/2013 22:40

Good luck tomoz bunny. Will be thinking of you :)

Bunnygirlie · 16/01/2013 22:28

Boodle and Rumple I'm glad I'm not the only crazy lady lol

Viv, thanks for the biscuits, unfortunately I can't stop eating biccies and haven't been to the gym in months (hangs head in shame), glad to hear you had a positive doctors visit (in more ways than one)

Welcome 2cats, we do seem to have a few stalkers, janey we can see you, hope you are well!

Mother once I get my opk positive I never test again, I will do next month!

Sorry to hear the bitch got you navis

The only people who know we are trying is my reflexologist , the girl who does my legs and one friend. My waxing lady has been TTC for a year now and just had dildocam at new year, she has just found out she has pcos so has to have an op, feel bad whinging when she has that ahead of her.

Off to see my friend who knows tomorrow and her beautiful 4 week old baby boy, will try and not cry!!!

twinklestar2 · 16/01/2013 22:27

Viv you crack me up! Good news about getting your lap and dye booked.

Good luck tomorrow pip.

MotherOfCleo · 16/01/2013 21:27

the last few months i had serious cramping mid cycle, it was only when I started using OPKs that I realised the pain was 2 days after my positive OPK.....maybe it was just a fluke?

Pipbin · 16/01/2013 21:24

Viv, are you saying that I have a fat arse? I run 9 miles a week I'll have you know, not that I have in the last couple of weeks!

Yes, lap and dye is tomorrow. I think after that it's fake tan and tesco horse burgers for me!

viviennewestwould · 16/01/2013 21:15

Rumple, ovulation pain, for me, is as elusive as a vaginal orgasm.

Rumplestrumpet · 16/01/2013 20:52

viv seriously, it's not right - when I lived in Manchester my doc was an old Pakistani man who wanted to send me away with a "there there, you'll get well" and a pat on the back. Much prefer the sound of yours....

Rumplestrumpet · 16/01/2013 20:50

Oh, Boodle, sorry to hear that - It's never nice having people poking around there at the best of times, but at least you know they've seen it all before. And I do get your moon point now. Kind of...

Aquarius I've never had ov pain - in fact, I didn't even know such a thing existed til I arrived in the great world of MN! I've never known when I ovulate, currently using OPKs and temping to work it out, but I admit it doesn't seem to be working yet - a week of negatives on the OPKs and a temping chart that looks like a heart monitor. I don't mind the temping but every time I get a negative OPK I can't help but feel like I've just pissed a pound down the toilet....

viviennewestwould · 16/01/2013 20:32

Aquarius, no sexual desire for relapsed boyfriends who bring me to the brink of a breakdown but plenty of horn for caring and attentive silver fox doctors in nice sweaters.

Good luck tomorrow, Pip.

Boodle9 · 16/01/2013 20:15

Rumple - I dunno really, just the moon and her bloody association with the menstrual cycle and fertility and all that. Tries to explain self and then thinks, why bother? Just admit it, you're mad, woman!

Is Pip about? Appointment tomorrow, yes? Hope it goes well. I'm really not looking forward to mine. Spotting today means AF likely to arrive tomorrow and having done some googling, it would seem I'll still get the dildocam, even with everything in (ahem) "full flow". Bleurgh. Sad

Aquarius1 · 16/01/2013 20:15

mother I never get any ov pain - I don't think it's a bad thing if you don't??

navis sorry about your af . Yes Lets all spend the next cycle wearing falsies, fake tan, having a permanent fag on and eating only chips and pop tarts (ps not that there's anything wrong with falsies and fake tan in case any of you elderberries are a bit towie)

viv Shock thought you were saying you had no libido??

MotherOfCleo · 16/01/2013 19:07

ladies you make me laugh! Especially viv you should write for mills and boon Grin actually perhaps its more jilly cooper Wink sounds like fab news for you though! Im really pleased things are looking up ahh no that was just yoir dream wasnt it hehe

Hi Janey hang around longer next time. Good to know 2 days positive is ok, still no OV pain though....random. Hmm

Rumplestrumpet · 16/01/2013 18:51

And welcome 2cats, the more the merrier

navis - sorry about AF. give yourself some treats. But 2 days early is better than 2 days late - means you'll be on your next cycle soon and back on the horse - and stock up on the fake tan :)

Mother - well done on all that DTD, and with double OPK positive, looks like the timing is perfect - FX!

Rumplestrumpet · 16/01/2013 18:46

Ladies, you're going to get me into trouble! I told DH I was working over in the corner, and he'll know I'm fibbing by the chuckles I can't hold back! Pregnant moon, seriously Boodle?!? I love that it's even more random than most of my crazy thoughts. And as for viv's steamy doctor, I might have to get myself an appointment, if only I lived anywhere near manchester!

Bunny I have that same random voice inside, more traditional than I expect. My shocker was when a friend who was obese large, smoker, drinker, no fresh fruit and veg got pregnant from a fling! And here I am telling myself to eat the pith of the orange because it's all part of TTC healthy eating?!?! But I also have those random thoughts of "oh, let it be this month I get pregnant because then I can have maternity leave over the summer and hang out with all my teacher friends"... and of course the "but I want to have the baby before my next birthday..."

Boodle9 · 16/01/2013 18:26

I spelt foie gras wrong too...but I was copying viv, Miss!

Well done on getting the doc to agree to the lap & dye viv, and, as an unexpected bonus, it would also seem he has provided you with some nice mental images for 'juicing up' next time you have to DTD. Win-win.

Well, over in Boodleland, 9DPO and the spotting has started. Where's the chocolate?

navis176 · 16/01/2013 18:19

viv - great news - fx all goes well

navis176 · 16/01/2013 18:18

does that mean we all need to start shopping in Lidl and piling on the fake tan - worth a try? lol Grin

viviennewestwould · 16/01/2013 18:03

Navis, that is shit, so sorry Brew

2cats, I believe only smack-heads and Lidl shoppers get pregnant. Oh, and those orange birds who wear triple false eyelashes just to go to the corner shop.

viviennewestwould · 16/01/2013 18:00

Hurrah! I actually got to see the elusive Dr. Willetts as opposed to one of his simpering female minions. I wept almost immediately (I didn't even have to conjure up images of dead relatives or budgies) and asked for an HSG. He said, 'I will do whatever you want'. I tried hard not to blurt out 'can you go down on me right here, doctor?' (he was devilishly handsome - a real silver fox in cashmere). He offered me the laparoscopy & hysteroscopy, which I now realise is the lap & dye. I am over the moon. I know they probably won't find owt wrong but, as he put it, at least I will know where I stand when I go for IUI. He told me what I already knew; that IUI does not have sparkling success rates - especially for women my age whose problem probably lies with egg quality. He agreed it's worth a shot when we can't afford IVF (which has a low success rate, too, at my age unless we used donor eggs).

So, the lap & dye is booked for 19th Feb and he told me he will refer me to CARE in Manchester straight after for IUI. He actually said that he believes I will get pregnant naturally, but that my egg quality coupled with Michael's less-than-brilliant sperm means it could take 'goodness knows how long'. In terms of sympathy, attentiveness and willingness to do anything I fancied it was a resounding success.

As I was leaving he drew me to his lap, sat me down on his stiff member, cupped my quivering breast and whispered, 'can I give you a baby, you filthy whore?'.....and then I woke up on the bus Sad

navis176 · 16/01/2013 17:53

humpf - af arrived 2 days early Sad

Aquarius1 · 16/01/2013 16:42

I always get them 2 days running mother

janey1234 · 16/01/2013 15:18

sssshhhh I'm not here, I left ages ago

Urm, mother, I did. Two days running. Not sure if it's 'normal' but def happened to me...

MotherOfCleo · 16/01/2013 14:18

Hum, so I just did another OPK and it's positive again, is it usual to have a positive OPK two days running? Hmm

Aquarius1 · 16/01/2013 12:59

Welcome 2cats & hope the bloating isn't too uncomfortable- I know the feeling

viv didn't even notice the spelling & was being Wink about your imaginary budgie - still a very tragic story though....
