Doff your top hats, lean on your canes, 'tis a Victorian Christmas for the BESH. Baste those turkeys in Victoria & Albert style, and maintain a stiff upper lip when you fill in the BESHtionnaire to see if you are cynical stoic enough to win a Baybee.

My fist is looking for a kidney to punch.

Again, just saying.

I had mega pre bfp pantular ooze, frank. Just saying.

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 06/01/2013 19:24

I don't usually get much in the way of pant snot Rie, everyone is different

Of course this cycle I've had après OV pant snot, which really doesn't make any sense at all!
In theory droid could turn up anytime between tomorrow and Thursday, so we'll see what happens.

I have definitely not been Googling "implantation temperature dip" and "increased cervical mucus after ovulation". Oh no, not me

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 06/01/2013 19:11

I have some fairly persistent ovarian proddings on day 15 but a total and unusual lack of pant snot. What is this new madness? Any ideas? Or perhaps I am now just a dried up old prune :(

Northey · 06/01/2013 17:58

Poor dog :( Have any chicken carcasses gone mysteriously missing this time?

bugs, you know it ain't over till the droid bleeps. Have you got another fiver to piss on tomorrow?

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 06/01/2013 17:09

Hello hags. Bugsy, I've PMed you.

Twinks, I'm touched that you remembered! I think I have decided to pass it up, because I have a lot to do without it in the next couple of months, added to the general family woes. And MrA has just taken on a job for a few weeks which means the vast bulk of running our business will be my responsibility, which is fine.

TWinklyLittleStar · 06/01/2013 16:51

What lovely presents faify!

bugs sorry about your poorly dog and your BFN. Any chance you've POAS'd too soon?

I have decided that rie is one third of Charlie's Angels Grin

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 06/01/2013 16:48

Is that the one that ate the chicken bugs? Sorry about the BFN (weren't your BFPs on the later side before?).

My present was great - I got slippers (in my exact size!), leather gloves, a Next just pink gift set (which I already wear) and some chocolates :)

I too have got some exercise! I felt a bit cooped up after a week of being ill so I walked 3k round the village. Feel better for it!

I also take the euro approach. I am fine getting up for something, but not just because its the done thing. I was only tempted into clothes at 11.30 today by the prospect of a nice walk through the park and a carvery lunch. Washed the car when we got back, now about to watch a film of some kind drinking boring herbal tea.

rie what did you decide in the end with the project you were offered?

Northey · 06/01/2013 12:35

I am indeed up and out and on the London train. And I had a toasted bacon sandwich thing from an evil coffee shop on the way.

SinkyMalinks · 06/01/2013 12:28

I see Euro takes more my approach to things... I'm going to get dressed purely so i can go to Tescos to get bacon.

Waaait. Pyjamas, in tescos? I could be onto something here...

SinkyMalinks · 06/01/2013 12:26

Rie, I would never have thought of your comment as fred police type. I thought twas quite amusing. And I am currently slewing from one Moment to another. Meh.

What might make it better is feeding our curiosity, and telling us what line of work you're in?

Norf, are you up and out on your way back to that there london now? Excellent effort on the getting up. I am v jealous of people who's body clock seem to accept a reasonable waking time. I wake every working day at 6/6.30, yet at the weekend, still wake, unless there's an alarm clock, at 10 or 11. I can hear my dad telling me i'm wasting the day... (and i miss breakfast at my favourite cafe)

EuroShagmore · 06/01/2013 12:08

Rie I didn't take the comment as bitchy, just the usual BESH banter, so you have nothing to apologise for.

Norfy loving the arsehole comment!

It's midday. I should probably go and get dressed or something, shouldn't I?

Northey · 06/01/2013 12:05

But that's what it is! I always thought the biscuit thing was a polite fiction. But apparently not.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 06/01/2013 11:55

ROARING at that Norf! Grin

Northey · 06/01/2013 11:53

I always thought it was meant to represent an anus.. You know, for calling someone an arsehole.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 06/01/2013 11:51

See those biscuits? I always think they're fried eggs.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 06/01/2013 11:26

Euro I must have seemed like a bitch with that comment. Sorry. Talk about holidays here of course. I was just having A Moment. And I most certainly am not the Thread Police.

EuroShagmore · 06/01/2013 11:24

I'm now very intrigued about Rie's job. I haven't seen the other fred.

Northey · 06/01/2013 11:21

God I fancy a biscuit. I've already had my one cup of coffee for the day though, and it's just not the same without something to dunk it in.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 06/01/2013 09:19

Bring him a cuppa and a Biscuit. Can't grumble at that!
