I hope nobody else has started a May conception thread; April isn't going to be it for me, so onwards and forwards ladies!

I know...last time we ttc it took nearly 5 years and I got very stressed if dh was not 'in the mood' or was away working.
This time, even tho sometimes I feel a bit frustrated, I try not to let it interfere because you can end up not bd-ing at all if you argue about ttc!

weewilliewinkie · 23/04/2006 15:45

hmm..relaxing...now that's an interesting thought! Finding it so hard to think about anything other than getting pregnant! I'm really trying not to let it take over my life, but it's so easy to let it become all-consuming!

coggy · 23/04/2006 15:44

Best tip that I am given (although VERY hard to actually do) is relax!
I tried to forget what CD I was on this month as we went away on holiday, relaxing merrily...but I found it impossible to forget!

weewilliewinkie · 23/04/2006 15:41

Hi ladies

Please can I join you? I'm ttc after my m/c in Feb...need some support!

Only on CD3..have started temping, using OPK's, taking EPO, taking prenatal supplements, exercising, losing a bit of weight, not drinking..think I'm obsessed!

Any more tips would be gratefully received...Smile

coggy · 23/04/2006 15:25

Hello...back from hols.
CD24 for me although this was the month that I was going to forget all about dates etc. Not so easy is it?!
Hopecat - did you have a good time with your doggy on Woolacombe beach?
I hope that the Devon air did you and your dp good and that you have managed to take a little extra souvenier home with you!!!
I have NO idea how to spell that!!
Blush oops!!

Hopecat · 23/04/2006 14:59

Happy Sunday everyone.

I'm on CD19 now, and I've had tiny little cramps in my uteral area since CD15 now.

I know everyone on the Conception Threads is always saying 'don't get excited by the symptoms', but how can you help it? I find it easier to allow myself some growing excitement (balanced by having a life, obviously). Then, if and when it comes to nothing, I feel sad, then get on with it. Surely that's healthier than denying to yourself that you have any hopeful feelings.

Small rant there: just been having this conversation with my Mum. Grin

Anyone else feeling any stirrings (and I don't mean rude ones)?Wink

laughalot · 22/04/2006 10:14

Jan 2007 sounds perfect to me

Hopecat · 21/04/2006 22:46

Maybe you were! 50-60% of pregnancies end in MC, and most of those will be chemical PGs.

Enough of them carry on that there still seem to be kids everywhere, though.

Lets keep our fingers crossed that we both get to hop over to the ante-natal threads. It would be a new one wouldn't it? Due Jan 2007. Ahhhh...

laughalot · 21/04/2006 19:09

Yep hopecat iv got cramps today very niggling cramps maybe its all in my head I thought I was pg last month

trace2 · 21/04/2006 16:57

maazaa · 21/04/2006 16:50

Hey there! DH returns home tonight from few nights away, hurrah!

Sorry to be so naive and confused but what is a CD all about? If anyone fancies explaining, I would be most grateful!

Hopecat · 21/04/2006 14:26

Hi lotta: pretty sure I OVed on CD15, but now am all confused cos of temps (see temp thread).

Had EWCM, though, and +OV stick, and have been having tiny little cramps since CD15.

Here's hoping.

laughalot · 21/04/2006 14:22

Hi hopecat we are on the same days I think I ov on day 14 saw some ewcm so now its the 2 week wait.

Hopecat · 21/04/2006 14:06

Hi everyone.

Was way ahead of myself yesterday: I'm actually on CD17 today. Got a rotten cold: brain not working properly.

Pussycat: briefly, my DH doesn't produce any sperm. At all. He's been on horrible treatment since Jan 05, and in March 06 we were told he had enough of the little suckers to give us a really good chance.Grin

Had a chemical pregnancy last month, so we know we can conceive.

Hi Skerriesmum: so I'm one day behind you. Obviously I'm so impatient I'm willing the days away a little too quickly...

laughalot · 21/04/2006 10:42

Hi pussycat! Yes, I'm four hours behind you timewise so I never seem to be on when anyone else is! I'm on cd16 now, we bd'd this month cd 10, 12, 13, 14, 15 (whew!) It's hilarious I share these details with people I'll never meet... (I guess that's the whole point.)

Hi Hopecat, I'm on the two week wait now myself. I have lots of distractions though, I should be packing boxes! We move at the end of the month and I can't think about testing until after that anyway. Can't wait to compare with you, hey we should test together... although with the time difference that could be tricky.

Hopecat · 20/04/2006 16:03

Hey Maazaa,

Sounds nice at your house. We’re loved-up too.

We’ve never used contraception, though, as DH doesn’t produce any sperm naturally.

maazaa · 20/04/2006 14:47

Hello Ladies

I have jumped over from the April thread as am positively not positive! I stopped taking the pill mid packet and it has started a strange AF, which would seem to make it impossible to be PG - that and the fact we had only been trying a few days!

All that aside - am feeling very happy and content at the moment! Did anyone else find that throwing contraception away made the old BD a lot more enjoyable! Tis all "loved up" in our household at the moment.....!!! Grin
