I hope nobody else has started a May conception thread; April isn't going to be it for me, so onwards and forwards ladies!

Great big spotty teenagers - Year 7-13. EUGH! Do you use www.primaryresources.co.uk? I have done quite a lot of one-to-one tuition and it's great, but obviously not sure how good it is for use in classroom!

peachygirl · 01/05/2006 16:09

Is it here?\link{http://www.standards.dfes.gov.uk/primary\Standards}

coggy · 01/05/2006 16:08

Year 2 and 1. Mostly yr2 so, sadly, mostly SATs stuff but thought I'd do a bit of poetry or something for light relief!! You?

coggy · 01/05/2006 16:07

Had it on favourites (how sad) and only need it at the beginning(ish) of each term so had a shock when it wasn't there......oh well....read a few messages on here.....done a bit of internet shopping......not all bad Wink !!

maazaa · 01/05/2006 16:06

Spooky! What age group you planning for?

peachygirl · 01/05/2006 16:05

No SEN - MLD. But I can have a look for you. I am supposed to 'do' the lit strategy.

coggy · 01/05/2006 16:05

Oooh - that was freaky....maazaa your message popped up instead of mine! Weird!

coggy · 01/05/2006 16:04

Peachy are you mainstream school?
Any ideas where the linked literacy objective planning website thing has gone?!!!

I'm a bit stuffed without it at the moment!

maazaa · 01/05/2006 16:04

Delighted to have work taken out of my hands...literally! But have gone from 0 to minus 60 in several hours - struggling to tidy up house! No motivation at all!

peachygirl · 01/05/2006 15:54

Hi all
Really sorry about the BFN wannabe but still there is still hope it just involves a long wait.
Good luck to anyone else who is testing soon.
What good luck about marking Maazaa! I'm just about the start planning and writing annual reviews

Debbsy · 01/05/2006 15:01

sorry wannabe it still must be low hormones. x

coggy · 01/05/2006 14:46

WannaBe - sorry that your test wasn't what you wanted it to be this morning - VERY disappointing for you.
I am sure that it will show up in another couple of weeks. It's just all so frustrating for you though.
Keep thinking positive thoughts (although I also fully understand why you don't want to get over-excited until you get that bfp in black and white).

Maazaa - how fortunate that all that work has gone off in dp's car! I am just about to begin planning but the website that I normally use had disappeared so I am a bit stuffed (all other documents in cupboard at school!!) Hmmmmm!

Hopecat - how are you doing/feeling? You must be around CD28? Any more symtoms? Testing when for your lil' devonian?!

maazaa · 01/05/2006 11:57

We'd love to have our own children! All kids have a good heart - sometimes just jubious parenting!!!!! Mind you, I dare not be judgemental til I have children myself! I love my job - just a bit stressful at times, so glad of a day off!! I am nervous that getting pg will make it difficult to do my job - I hope I can survive without much time off, if and when it happens.

laughalot · 01/05/2006 11:52

Are you excited about the prospect off being a mummy, it dosent sound like the school kids have put you off !!!!!!!!

maazaa · 01/05/2006 11:48

Hi L, DH is on a course today and has taken the car, which contains my marking for school......so am resigned to being house bound - cleaning and surfing! Bit boring, but better than being at school! Where are you up to CD wise?

laughalot · 01/05/2006 11:47

Mazza meant to say as well your boob ache could be because it ovulation time had you noticed any ewcm ? Grin. Well its cd27 for me its my second month off the pill and my last af was 35 days so I wont be testing untill after the 8th may

laughalot · 01/05/2006 11:43

Hi wannabe try not to be too down just wait for that 2 weeks...

Mazza how are you hunny im ok dh has been at work al bank holiday so its a little boring, what about you ?

maazaa · 01/05/2006 11:43

Don't lose heart, W....(though easier said than done, i'm sure). Have been reading up on lots of different websites this morning and it could only be a case of not enough pg hormone showing up yet.... if things are the same in 2 weeks, then you'll know where to turn next. Do you still have symptoms?

wannaBe1974 · 01/05/2006 11:41

morning all :).

Well, did a test and ... bfn. DH says not to get downheartened, that gp said to wait for two weeks and that I shouldn't have tested, but tbh I've totally lost heart now. I really really think that if I was pg then I'd have got a bfp, I think maybe it's just time for me to come back down to earth and back into reality, I've obviously missed my af for a different reason, I'll test again in two weeks but I'm not expecting anything now.

sorry it wasn't more positive news :)

hope everyone else is ok? haven't caught up on any messages but will check and reply later when I have more time :)

maazaa · 01/05/2006 11:21

Hey laughalot - you enjoying your bank holiday?

maazaa · 01/05/2006 11:20

Gosh....the suspense! Am excited for you WannaBe!

According to my not very accurate diary, I am on CD14 and my boobs really hurt....If this is an accurate date, it seems far too early for my pre-menstrual boobache and far too soon to be pg, despite the fact that we have been bd since approx CD 4/5 after AF went. This is what comes of not knowing my own body well enough!!!!!!! Anyone else in a similar position?

Flowertot - I feel for you and your DH - pressure wise....I feel a bit guilty that I have a renewed interest in all things bedroom as I have an extra motivation and no concerns in the back of mind NOT to get pg! My DH doesn't seem to mind too much as we are trialling ttc for a few months to see if it happens - what will be will be etc. Have you been ttc for a long time?

laughalot · 01/05/2006 11:10

Hi anyone around ????
Wannabe where the hell are you Wink

Debbsy · 01/05/2006 10:04

Wannabe where are you come on dont keep us in suspense???????????????????????????
Ive got up early this morning and everything to check!!!!!!!!!

flowertot · 01/05/2006 09:18

By the way, how many days can you bd pre ovulation for the little swimmers to still be there?

flowertot · 01/05/2006 09:17

Hey this is exciting! can I join? I am CD 11 so getting ready for mega bding! Though DH gets a bit stressed at the thought of 'having' to perform. Told him this was the week so may have to just see how he feels and if it stresses him out, then not tell him next month. I thought most men were up for it whatever it just seems he feels the pressure!
