Sorry to hear about AF Aquarius Xmas Sad

I'm glad my nasal puke incident has caused amusement. It makes me chuckle now but not so much at the time! Xmas Grin

I've not even gained a single cup size on the boobage front Xmas Envy

happylass · 11/12/2012 18:08

Sorry Aquarius. AF really sucks Xmas Sad. I'm only on cd6 so come join me in the quest for a New Year BFP (and at least we can have a festive drink or two - every cloud and all that!!)

ChristmAquarius1 · 11/12/2012 18:03

Thanks for commiserations lovely ladies Xmas Smile

BraveLilBear · 11/12/2012 14:19

Lol at male colleague boob detection Hazle I too am borderline new bras...

Got a pair of 30DDs following your wonderful advice just before 5 weeks. Two and a bit weeks on, and the cups are leaving marks on the top and I'm almost getting overspill! Eek! Measured last week and bust size has gone up by an inch already Xmas Shock

HazleNutt · 11/12/2012 13:57

Oh great I need a new bra again. I was wondering why this male colleague kept hovering aroudn my desk and wanting to discuss the matters in more detail. Well, just looked down. The cleavage explains it.

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 11/12/2012 13:50

Some v interesting facts and figures for those in the 2ww.

janey1234 · 11/12/2012 12:43

By 'reading you' I mean reading about your curry nose vom...

janey1234 · 11/12/2012 12:42

Hey all from sunny chiang mai!

Aquarius - I'm sorry Sad

Pregnant elderberries: I think I said a while ago that when I had my mmc at 12 weeks one of my consultants told me (whilst digging a massive blood clot out of my cervix - nice) that us elderberries are much less likely to get ms than our younger counterparts. And that yes, we are marginally more likely to have a mc, but the lack of ms and mc are not related. So basically, according to him, enjoy the lack of ms and try not to worry about it!

On phone so can't remember who it was, but rache if it was you, I'm genuinely sorry but I nearly choked on my orange juice reading you. Poor, poor you but it does sound quite funny (and painful!) to the rest of us... Wink

HazleNutt · 11/12/2012 12:35

Oh actually my mum said the same about ms - she was horribly sick with me when she was 25, but no problems with my sister when she was 31.

HazleNutt · 11/12/2012 12:33

I have a theory about the energy levels - I was quite tired for about a week in early pregnancy, just going home and going to bed. Then raised the dosage of my thyroxine and have since been absolutely fine, so seems like having thyroid problems can actually be good in pregnancy.

The need for thyroxine raises quite sharply in first trimester, unfortunately our thyroids are a bit sluggish catching up with the demand. And not enough hormone will have the exact effect, with or without pregnancy - no energy. (As I don't have a thyroid, it's very easy to adjust the replacement hormone dosage in my case). Good news is that around 12 weeks, baby starts making its own thyroxine, so if it really is the thyroid, you should feel less tired soon.

BelissimaLol · 11/12/2012 12:03

I had the dildocam last week with a male sonographer. Was mortified! This week I had a bikini line and look quite tidy.
I miss sex as well. But have no energy for it. Yesterday it was a month since our last shag. Boo.
I've not actually been sick either. Just feel queasy when I'm hungry which is all the time!

BraveLilBear · 11/12/2012 10:48

Oh Quod forgot to say - that's really interesting about younger mums being more prone to sickness. Had a high risk conversation with my mum yesterday around the subject of the unmentionable baby mama and I asked her if she got sick with me and my sisters.

She said she was sick all through with me and next sis - when she was 23 and 25, and was sick with my other sis when she was 31 but that stopped at 3 months. Maybe there's truth in that theory?

BraveLilBear · 11/12/2012 10:46

Boo to the witch aquarius Xmas Sad

Twinkle, navis and zombies your time will come soon. And I think everyone's missing the amazing positive of getting that much sex! I would love to get that much sex, well, normally anyway. So it's not all a waste of time, even though it can be really disheartening.

Rache you certainly do voming in style! First the puppy story, now nasal curry!

You might get away without gardening on Friday - just thought I'd mention it cos I would be mortified if I was blissfully unaware and ended up having to flash my bits off (tho friend did say they gave her a sheet that went to her ankles so nowt on show).

I was thinking I'd have to put some work in beforehand anyway, cos surely they'd need to look on the pubic mound and I can't imagine hairy/stubbly bits being conducive to ultrasound I am a terribly hairy kinda gal Xmas Blush

The worries never ever stop!

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 11/12/2012 10:18

So sorry aquarius Sad

ChristmAquarius1 · 11/12/2012 08:42

Booo I'm out this month Xmas Angry come on 2013 and get us all some babbies please....

navis176 · 11/12/2012 08:05

twinkle and zombies - I know exactly how you feel - you do everything 'right' and then....nothing Xmas Sad But as you say best to try not to think about it too much - we've done everything possible...
zombies - I'm going to POAS on 20th too - have an appointment with my fetal-geneticist-person that morning - so would be nice to say 'don't worry about it just yet, lets see how this one goes'. twinkle - when're you due to POAS?

twinklestar2 · 10/12/2012 23:38

Zombies - all you can think us that you tried your best. I've had months when I've dtd loads and its not led to anything so I know it's depressing.

Quodlibet · 10/12/2012 23:11

Zombie, it's partly DTD and partly just luck. Don't get down about it. That is some solid effort you have put in.

Rachel I had a laugh too about you blowing chunks - hope it wasn't a hot curry, that would be painful as well as disgusting. Brave I haven't chucked yet either - only occasional mild nausea. The poor people with proper MS are in a minority on this thread I think (I did read somewhere that the likelyhood of MS decreases with age, so maybe it's an Elderberry advantage.)

ZombiesAreClammyDodgers · 10/12/2012 23:01

Getting a little depressed looking at my DTD dates last cycle. If this didn't work then what hope have I this cycle-
Cd 7, 8, 10, 11,12,13,15,17,19,20,21,22,25,26. Sad

Pipbin · 10/12/2012 22:38

Good evening Pavlovas.
Been away for the weekend and have managed to DTD loads, also I'm fairly sure I should OV in the next couple of days.
I've got the date through for my Lap and Dye which will be on the 18th of Jan, so I'm hoping we manage a BFP this month so I don't have to do it!

ChristmAquarius1 · 10/12/2012 22:38

Dildocams and barfing curry...ITs almost enough to make me feel better about not getting my bfp just yet! I'm Cd29 and due around cd30-cd33 - POASd this eve and bfn. bb's feeling a lot less sore after a week of soreness and on/off cramping so thinking af due any minute...Xmas Hmm

Thinking of all you other 2wwrs and hoping someone comes up with the goods for a Christmas BFP!

Bunnygirlie · 10/12/2012 22:15

Get well soon mrs I'm also feeling bloody rotten, think it may be man flu and yet I must find some energy from somewhere for DTD week!

Hope all you lovely PG ladies aren't suffering too much, with my IBS I suffer from nausea 75% of my life anyway so I know how vile it is!

TTCers check this out

Made me chuckle as tomorrow is the day we hope/pray/try to start DTD every other day! Maybe it's a sign lol. Fingers crossed

Who's POASing next? I am going to try to hold out till the 20th or 21st. Then if it's a negative at least I have Christmas to look forward to.

twinklestar2 · 10/12/2012 21:56

I try not to think about it too. It's the only way!!

Purplemonster · 10/12/2012 21:32

Rache, your curry story made me laugh, sorry, I'm sympathetic, I am, but it's FUNNY...and gross.
Nearly as gross as being asked for a urine sample by my midwife, then being handed back the pot with the lid screwed on and the contents intact, and being told to 'take it home, rinse it out and bring it back for next time' Whhhh??? I know there are budget cuts but bring your own pot to pee in? Really?
