dilver I had the same problem. Mc in June, in July I was offered promotion which means company would be spending a lot on training. I have been TTC since mc and gathered I wouldn't get pg trailer away so went for it :-)

I have been so busy at work this morning which helped keep my mind off symptom spotting. A vacancy has come up at work for someone to act up. Been secretly wishing that an opportunity came up for months till recently when I decided to TTC. My colleagues think I could do good but none is aware of my baby making plans.

Hi tiggerish I was the exact same as you during month 1, it is very exciting when you're hoping and wishing, and it's very disappointing if things don't go to plan. You don't have to justify how you're feeling compared to how long some of us have been trying, we all understand and no one person's disappointment or excitement is any more less valid than any one else's.

I really hope you get a BFP this month, but if you don't we'll all hold your hand while you have a little weep

Mine tends to change the day after. Jelly, but my ov date is based on signs rather than testing for ov so I could be wrong.

A "hypothetical" question that's driving me nuts. If say one POAS, and the control line was there and clear, but the dye seemed a bit smudgey and there was another ever so very very very faint line, would you dismiss the test due to the smudge-factor?

I think that you ovulate on the day before ewcm disappears. I think. And I believe it normally lasts a few days. So dtd as much as poss while you have it cos when it's gone then so your window. Not 100% sure that's right but its something like that.

Oh learned mumsnet ladies while i should be sitting here working i am thinking about ttc related things and have a question that will most probably change my dpo. When we get ewcm, how many days after that would ov be?

hi tiggerish I was in a similar position to you last month, first cycle TTC after coil out. My cycle ended up being 42 days and I also felt the disappointment of the BFNs, despite it being cycle 1 etc. Kind of hoping for a more normal cycle this time, but, like you, I kind of remember having really long cycles before I had the coil. So, assuming I am back to a 30 ish day cycle, I should be testing on 21 November, but will try to hold off a bit longer.

Hopefully though, you are just on a longer cycle, so there is still a chance for a BFP for you

I've had slight cramps all morning but AF not due til next week. At 8DPO it'd be bang on time for implantation, but could just mean that the witch is coming early so am a mixture of hope and fear!

Well I tested this morning and got a BFN. But no sign of AF yet, which means I'm so far on CD32.

I only had my implant taken out in the middle of Oct, and I had really long cycles from what I can remember, all those moons ago before I was on contraception.

So really, I should have expected this, but I let myself hope a little too much!

I have given myself a strong talking to; it is only our first cycle of TTC, and it proves I still don't know how long my cycles are, so no idea when I ovulate.

Yet ridiculously I feel a little down about it. Which is even more ridiculous and selfish knowing what other on here have gone through, and are going through.

Hey weechops will see what i can do for you. Not sure my magic power can reach the north sea but i will try my best.

Wondering though if having to perform and dtd on time in order to maintain the countries population is enough of a civic duty for him to be excused for a week???. I am sure his colleagues will understand

Nic You can get a false negative, but a false (proper) positive doesn't happen.. eeek. Exciting!!!

I'm pretty sure the dr's test must have had a lesser sensitivity than the tests that you are using Nic? Only thing that can explain you getting positives and them getting a negative. Sounds hopeful tho :) Fingers crossed for you.

for all those who's been got by the witch. Nicnic I'd get a cbd if af doesn't come. I think the tests the docs have are just normal tests so if they're not as sensitive as the ic then it's possible it wouldn't show up this early. Fx all goes well.
I am thoroughly fed up with the tww already and I'm only a few days in. I've already got my hopes up with no reason whatsoever and I know I'm gonna be horribly disappointed when if af turns up at the end of the month. Aargh.. Someone knock some sense into me. How do I not get my hopes up?

Finally managed to pull together a work report that was due today, so now I officially have nothing to do but lie around and get better. Hoping that our bath is going to get plumbed in tonight - cannot wait for a decent soak. Showers just don't have the same way of making you feel better when poorly.

couldnt help myself did the other cheap test that was in my cupboard this morning got another faint but definetly there pink line definetly not my imagination and it appeared within 3 minutes so i dont think its an evaporation line cos your meant to wait 5 mins before the result !! af due tomorrow fx it doesnt come !! SURELY i couoldnt keep getting faint lines and nothing comes of it can i ??? could the doctors negative test be wrong ???? thinking if af doesnt come by monday i will splurge on a cbd
