TinkyPeet · 16/11/2012 10:52

Sorry to hear it tiggerish stay strong Hun enjoy yourself this weekend so you can jump back on it next week xxx

tiggerishtom · 16/11/2012 10:51

Yes Taking that's exactly how I am looking at it, and thanks for the hugs.

Being really positive and a am pleased that a least my cycle wasn't too long either, I could have gone on a mammoth 45+ days like I used to in my younger years.

So actually strangely relieved this morning to get AF because that its was only 33 days..... I am keen to get started again! Grin

Good luck for everyone testing soon!

Cortana · 16/11/2012 10:45

X-Post

Tiggerish I think some lovely wine is needed for this evening.

Sometimes the first cycle of TTC is the hardest in that you've got all the hope and excitement fresh in your mind. Be good to yourself today darling.

Try and think along the lines of this is the first day of a brand new cycle for you. Not the end of something. Another chance for your BFP starts today. Thanks

TakingTheStairs · 16/11/2012 10:42

Tiggerish, I'm so sorry to hear that.
Plenty of wine and paté for you this weekend. It's not ideal, but now you can start to watch the patterns of your cycle and figure out what's going on with your body too.
Next month will be your month, I just know it

Cortana · 16/11/2012 10:39

Ah the toilet hugging stage, Tinky, you'll be offered a million remedies once that gets going. I found tea and peanut butter sandwiches helped but everyone is different.

I'm due anytime from yesterday till the 18th Jelly. My cycles can change by 5 days easily. No witch yet, I have been crampy for days now though.

Was the water hot in the shower when you felt dizzy? When I had DS I went over in anything more than lukewarm early on, could be a good sign. Fx for you, and for everyone Smile

tiggerishtom · 16/11/2012 10:33

Thanks for everyones lovely and kind words!

AF arrived this morning so I am definitely off the busSad, Wine tonight.

I will lurk about to see how everyone else gets on if that ok?

Fingers crossed for you all!

JellyCurls · 16/11/2012 09:32

When are you due cortana?

TakingTheStairs · 16/11/2012 09:17

Morning all. I'm super tired this morning so I'm having toast and jam for the sugar boost (bad I know). Would anybody like a piece?

Thanks pinkbuttons Blush

Fx for those of you testing. and remember it ain't over until the witchy woman arrives :)

TinkyPeet · 16/11/2012 09:16

I'm not so bad thanks Hun, getting over the horrendous cold but the sickness is threatening to arrive soon! Had to decide whether or not to go throw up before the school run, but thankfully I was fine and didn't chuck lol. Fx for anyone testing xx

Cortana · 16/11/2012 08:54

BFN here again, but no AF. TMI alert my nipples are massive I have some changes which could be a positive sign or a sign of AF.

Agreed Tinky, not over till the witch arrives. How are you this morning Tinky? Are you feeling better.

TinkyPeet · 16/11/2012 08:33

jelly sounds very promising for you!
frog the ICs aren't very sensitive so stay positive it's not over till she rears her ugly head xxx

JellyCurls · 16/11/2012 08:07

Frog maybe the IC are not that sensitive, remember it ain't over till AF arrives.

About 15dpo for me, AF due yesterday on cycle day 35 but she was, thankfully, a no show Smile This morning when i got up i was really aware of my boobies, they feel sore and full. Felt really dizzy in shower too. Holding off POAS till Sunday though as dont want another bfn.

Good luck to this mornings testers, am off to hide so the witch can't find me

frogchops · 16/11/2012 07:48

Morning everyone, did a IC test this morning.... Bfn
Surely at 13dpo it would show by now?? :-/
Af like pains didnt happen yday at all so thought she might've , well, fucked off tbh, lol.
Maybe she is on her way after all :-/

pinkbuttons · 16/11/2012 07:29

nicnic your post sounds v positive and sensible will definitely have to try and remember that nxt week when am waiting for AF.
3peas i also get ovulation pains we have been dtd eod the week before am expecting ov just incase and then everyday for a few days while have the pain. only my first month TTC though so not sure if this is working yet.
fx for everyone testing today. i will be testing tomorrow but not rly expecting a true result just need to POAS

JellyCurls · 16/11/2012 07:08

Morning 3peas i think pain around ov is common. I get really sharp pains that take my breath away sometimes and since ttc this time i realise i cramp afterwards too. We just try and dtd as often as possible around those dates as not sure when ov actually occurs.

3peasinapod · 16/11/2012 05:46

Have an awful feeling AF is on her way!

Does any of you get pain when you ovulate?? I have been getting pains on one side each month, so for the last 2 months I have used an opk to figure if it was ovulation and got positive opks each time. This month we bd a day after the pain started, so this month I think I will try and bd on the day that I get the pain. Would love to know if any of you get ovulation pain and if so when do u bd during this?? Mine can be quiet painful and sometimes bd would be the last thing on my mind..

nicnicw · 15/11/2012 22:24

thanks girlies xxx for the positive vibes xxx feeling a lot calmer ... i think i have accepted what will be will be if af does come over the weekend not the end of the world on cycle one my partner wont complain haveing more funn trying lol but fx if af doesnt arrive and i finally get a definitive answer ..... BONUS

Cortana · 15/11/2012 22:14

"You don't have to justify how you're feeling compared to how long some of us have been trying, we all understand and no one person's disappointment or excitement is any more less valid than any one else's."

Agree with this, so much.

Silver, I'd go for the job if you want it. I will be testing again tomorrow if the witch stays away. Fx for you.

Silver15 · 15/11/2012 20:18

Thanks Hayle, I will definitely consider it. Pink I was previously advised to take ibuprofen when pg with my ds2 and nothing stronger.

Anyone testing tomorrow? I know it's a bit early for me but will still give it a try.

pinkbuttons · 15/11/2012 19:08

taking your lovely post just nearly made me cry. over emotional or just this crazy all the time Hmm either way it was lovely.

this symptom spotting is not doing me any good. cramps have gone now and feel like im.just waiting.

Also injured my back last night by sneezing and holding DS , desperate for stronger painkillers and anti inflammatorys but worried about what if... does anyone know if would affect any potential baby so early on? only 7dpo. Seems crazy that for first 7 weeks with DS I had no idea he existed yet now I may not even be pregnant and am worrying about a possible very awaited baby.

Haylebop12 · 15/11/2012 18:43

Same here chocolate. I noticed last cycle I tend to start cramping 24 hours before buy I'm also 8dpo so AF not due till Tuesday.

chocolatesolveseverything · 15/11/2012 17:28

FX for us both then hayle! Mine are less now, but still very slightly there. I rarely get cramps for AF, and even if so, it's usually while on rather than beforehand.

But of course I may be reading wayyyyy too much into this:-)
