Congratulations backward! What a lovely name too. Sorry to hear Esther had a rough start but it's great she's doing so well now.

Congratulations to dorita and everyone else having positive scans. Fingers crossed for those ttc-ing.

AFM, 33 weeks now and counting down the days until I start ML...four weeks to go (but so much work to get down in those four weeks - get off MN woman!!)

Jollyb · 03/03/2013 21:11

Many congrats possum. Esther is a beautiful name. I hope you're recovering from the traumatic arrival.

pixie as far as I'm aware there isn't an age limit on investigation for recurrent miscarriages - though as you get older there is less chance that they will find a reversible cause.

Hi all, not posted in ages! I'm just up with my beautiful baby girl who was born on Wednesday by elective section, weighing 7 lb 5 oz. We've called her Esther. She was in scbu for a few days as she had a terrible first few hours, had to be resuscitated twice in theatre, given oxygen etc. she didn't half give us a fright. Good news is that we're all fine, I'm recovering well, a bit sore/tender, but breastfeeding is well established and we're getting home tomorrow (well, later today I suppose). Big brother is delighted with his baby sister. I'll catch up with you moshers when we're home. :)

oo00PIXIE00oo · 02/03/2013 20:21

Hiya all - hope you are enjoying your hols Jolly - my next scan is on the 7th but have just started spotting with a few niggley cramps so not looking good here - EPU asked me to get my GP to refer for investigation as this will be mc x3 - at 42 are they going to bother?? X

notsoold · 02/03/2013 19:55

Hi all just catching up from afar. Many congrats Dorita, LCR and buzzy. Amicable welcome to the thread. Mrs HP - hope you made the most of your peakWink

19+1 here. Beginning to feel some definite kicks which is very reassuring. I had an anterior placenta with DD and so wasn't convinced til 24 weeks.

Pixie - hope you're doing ok

Dorita75 · 02/03/2013 09:42

I hope the good news is helping give you positive vibes amicable we've all been where you are and I for one can't quite believe that I'm here a year later in this position, good luck to you.

Thanks everyone, thanks too MrsHP let's stick together and get your BFP next!

Redbird12 · 01/03/2013 18:53

Great news dorita, lcr and buzzy, so pleased all your scans have gone well. We have our 12 week scan next Fri, off work next week and on a mini break to Lake District from Sun to Wed so hoping I can relax and not get too stresssed ahead of the scan. I know the last scan at 9+5 was fine but each time I still worry something may have gone wrong.

Welcome amicable and I'm sure you will find support here whilst TTC and then dealing with the inevitable anxiety when you do get pregnant again. After 2 MMC's and subsequent ERPC's last year I didn't think I may even get this far so hoping next week is my first happy 12 week scan.

LCR77 · 01/03/2013 15:52

Super duper news Dorita so pleased for you. It is the most incredible feeling ever especially as you can't believe everything's ok after the heartache.

amicable so sorry you find yourself here - hope you find the support and solace you need right now from others who've found themselves in a similar situation.

MrsHerculePoirot · 01/03/2013 13:03

Welcome amicable sorry you did yourself here but you are very welcome.

MrsHerculePoirot · 01/03/2013 13:02

dorita I am, so, so very very pleased for you and feel your relief and excitement! I think because you were on the sept threads all that time ago too and then the mmc thread and now this one The same as me! Right I am now totally convinced there is hope, going to ring gp and make appt right now for fertility check!

amicablemoomin · 01/03/2013 12:32

hi ladies, do you mind if I join you? Congratulations to LCR, fantastic news. Had an erpc last monday at 8 weeks. Hoping to head into ttc world before too long - it's wonderful to see some happy stories on here.
