Thanks backwardpossom

Welome BoyMeetsWorld. I know exactly how you feel, my due date last
year would have also been perfect for very many reasons and am also still terrified of having another one. Hope you are OK, waiting for that first AF is like being in limbo, you just want it to turn up so you can get 'back to normal'.

backwardpossom · 19/01/2013 21:01

Hi BoyMeetsWorld, good luck when you do start TTC.

Sorry about AF, MrsHP, here's hoping Feb is your month!

Great newsLCR!

As for me, 33+1 today. Still can't believe it!

BoyMeetsWorld · 19/01/2013 20:26

Hi all,
Tentatively joining please though not actively started TTC yet. A month after ERPC, just waiting for AF to turn up so can start again. So far no sign Hmm

But gutting as v much want a 2013 baby and feel like time's running out. My due date wouldve been so perfect too Hmm

Also, absolutely terrified of having another mc.

But lovely to hear your stories - very inspiring to hear of pregnancies after mc...

MrsHerculePoirot · 19/01/2013 14:20

Thanks everyone - AF is just starting here so bring on next month!

buzzybeetop · 19/01/2013 14:16

Great news LCR. Got mine booked for 8th feb if I make it to then. I'm with you on the nausea and tiredness Dorita.

Good luck for next month Mrs HP

Dorita75 · 19/01/2013 08:40

Brilliant news LCR you must feel so relieved, am really happy for you. Lovely to hear from the graduates too, especially about the number of successful pgs, wishing sparkly babydust to us all!

Dorita75 · 19/01/2013 08:37

I've just realised Mrshp that both times I've got pregnant have been after a month off!

This one has seen sickness kick in and I'm asleep on the couch between 8.30-9pm most nights so feeling a tinsy bit positive.....booking in not till 13th Feb due to hols and work stuff, so all being well I'll be coming up to 10wks by then. My SIL had baby girl yesterday, her 2nd, really hope mine sticks, would love to give my mum and dad their 3rd grandchild.

Have a good day everyone, stay warm Smile

Jollyb · 18/01/2013 23:27

Hurrah LCR77 - brilliant news. How long to 12 week scan for you now?

Marathon and LittleSpade - it is lovely to hear positive stories about graduates from this thread

Hopes everyone else is OK... AF due tonight/tomorrow and then I'm back in! Fertility monitor at the ready (had a month off) and am ready to go!

LCR77 · 18/01/2013 18:02

Quick update. Scan went really well gestation and yolk sacs present plus faint fetal heartbeat detected. So relieved you would not believe. Long slog to 12 week scan now.

buzzybeetop · 18/01/2013 15:49

Sorry just looked back on my post from earlier. Of course I meant I hope you're doing ok yikes.

LittleSpade · 18/01/2013 13:42

Hi everyone. Thanks for asking after me tas - yes i do still read everyone's posts regularly but like others have said don't feel as comfortable posting too much here now i'm pregnant. Also was on holiday last week enjoying some lovely warmth and relaxation in the carribean and have been busy catching up on work since i got back.

tas glad to hear you've now passed viability. I am 24 weeks on Sunday so really looking forward to that milestone. Can't believe how quickly time has gone since the 12 week scan! Wilde are you past 24 weeks yet? Hope like tas said that cheese is also still doing ok?

yikes so sorry to hear of your news - what shitty luck - hope to see you back when you feel ready we're always here to support you.

dorita i found that time went oh soooooo slowly until the 12 week scan but has significantly sped up since, certainly now i have a bump and am enjoying all a bit more. Just take it one day at time and rely on the support of your family and friends.

Jolly so pleased to hear your 12 week scan went well. Hope you can start to relax a little soon.

Hope your scan went well today lcr?

buzzybeetop · 18/01/2013 12:45

maratjhon thanks for dropping in and giving us all some hope.

yikes you're ok.

Been feeling a bit calmer since my wobble on Monday. Really trying to enjoy this pregnancy for however long it lasts. Told my mum and sister this week, only told them last 2 times when it had all gone tits up so it's nice to tell them while it's still good news. Went out with 2 friends on weds night and felt I was being tested by them when they ordered sushi for starter and were trying to convince me to eat a piece of raw tuna! Don't think I'd have been keen even if not pregnant but think I may have raised their suspicions, especially when I turned down a beer!

Went to see the GP on Wednesday and he thought a scan at about 9 weeks was a good idea but had to be organised through the midwife so had to face midwife today, a bit earlier than I would have hoped. Request for an early scan was met with an outright no. Bit annoying but I suppose 12 week scans and people bleeding have to take priority. Now looking at somewhere to go privately, I just can't wait until 12 weeks this time. Any suggestions in Manchester area??

tasmaniandevilchaser · 17/01/2013 20:47

Hi all

marathon a blast from the past, think I had just arrived when you had your baby. Thanks for popping back, it's a welcome reminder of life on the other side!

yikes hope you're doing ok

wilde good to see you around, sorry to hear about your friend. I think there was a saying on here when martha's friend died, cancer is a cunt, it certainly is Sad

Hi to everyone else

Jollyb · 17/01/2013 19:41

Hi all. Good luck clairey you sound well prepared - just don't forget to have lots of sex

wilde sorry to hear about your friend. Life can be so unfair.

jaffa hope you're feeling a bit brighter. One thing I'm glad of with my 3 MCs is that they've been very early and I didn't ever get to see a baby or HB on a scan. It must be so much harder when it happens later in the pregnancy. Give Clara an extra big cuddle tonight.
.
Plodding on here - haven't had a phone call from the hospital which should mean that my screening results have shown I'm low risk. Has been a nerve wracking 48 hours. Was so much easier when i was at Kings and got the results on the day.
yikes hope you're doing ok.

Sorry for anyone else I've missed .

Hi all, I just thought I'd pop on and say hello to those who remember me. For my sins and due to a typo, I coined the term metalling! I love this thread, it gave me so much support after my mmc. I now have a DD who is nearly 1 and can't believe how the time has flown.

I just want to say that nearly all of the people I was on the thread with have gone on to have lovely babies and you will too. Happy moshing xx

WildeRumpus · 17/01/2013 08:12

Aw thanks possom. How the diddly are you getting on now?!

Waves to polka. you get defurring girl. I had my three mcs then took aspirin with this one that stuck... Next time am TTC will def def take aspirin again. Tho my stupid Dr was harrumphing about it my pg consultant said it was a good idea :) good luck :)

backwardpossom · 16/01/2013 19:50

Wilde I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. Fuck cancer indeed. :( Thanks xx

Polka2 · 16/01/2013 19:25

Yikes I hope you're doing ok and have stuff to punch and kick if needs be, always good for a vent. Hmm

Hey Jaffa, wilde and jolly hope you ladies are ok too.... Keep scrolling back to properly and personally name check but my brain is befuddled and I keep getting where you all are squiggly.... ApologiesWink

I'm day 6 AF after my WTF cycle. On my special herbs (!) and 75mg aspirin to try and sort out the progesterone issue (the herbs) and help me get a BFP and for it to stick (the herbs and aspirin), trying to keep positive and now heading upstairs to de winter hair myself in anticipation of DTD lots!Grin

I'll leave out some warming stew for you ladies, bonne chance Wink

WildeRumpus · 16/01/2013 14:54

Hope you ok jaffa.

WildeRumpus · 16/01/2013 14:53

yikes found this thread for first time on weeks and saw your post :( am so sorry and just hope you do get some better news.
Haven't been able to read thread for while since being a stay at home mum to ds as rarely have time. Is crackers. And am moving house... And my friend died from bloody cancer last week so has all been a bit shit. Fuck cancer eh? but wave to everyone and send good luck to ttcers and big congrats to the new bfps. Today you are pregnant :)

Personally am plodding along, still bleed almost daily but the baby seems fine and kicky so hold onto that - and reaching viability next week.

Take care all! :)

JaffaSnaffle · 15/01/2013 19:11

Thank you. Today has been strange. I feel very different about my mc after the birth of DD2. Before she was born, so much of my thoughts were tangled up by anxiety about ttc then the pregnancy. This time, it was just straightforward grief about what was lost, and not just my little boy. I think the mc changed me, as a mum. I don't know whether we will try for DC3. Today I kept thinking about a baby boy that I'll never know. I may never have a son. But it also made me love my DD2 more, if that's possible. I can't believe she's here, well, and so lovely.

Jollyb · 15/01/2013 18:18

Had 12 week scan today and all was ok. Still got to wait for blood results etc. Was strange to be in the real antenatal department rather than the EPU. Bumped into someone from jury service too which was funny - had a rather awkward 'well fancy seeing you here' type conversation!

Good luck for tomorrow yikes and fingers crossed for Friday LCR.

Hope everyone else is ok too x

LCR77 · 15/01/2013 16:43

yikes I'm so sorry to hear what's happened. it must be the toughest time with some awful decisions to make. I really feel for you...

buzzybee congrats such great news. Seems conception triplets with dorita I'm 5+5...

tasmanian not been on the ectopic thread as in posting but checked a lot of the posts. And done as much reading on it as possible

Trying to remain calm for Friday scan - only two more days at work to go. Swing backwards and forwards with thoughts of 'I don't have many symptoms', 'I feel more pregnant this time', 'What if something's wrong again' - driving me a little insane...I also know Fri is just the first hurdle. My sister had a MMC last month and found out at 12 wk scan.

Still burping like a trooper though Grin - hoping this is a good sign
