Welcome to our new humble abode for the next six weeks or so, Brookers!

Here's hoping this fred will be as lucky as sparks' and scarlett's [hgrin]

OP posts:
Solars · 19/11/2012 09:03

That was meant to be sorting HAT...

Solars · 19/11/2012 09:03

Ooooo will there be a sorting at at your ceremony Bartlet? brookers & non-brookers perhaps??

Good luck today Geek

Everything crossed for your ironic BFP Keep

Beedle sorry about bfn. Your diddy Xmas tree sounds sweet! Yes get your DH to JIAJ soon!

SecretSparkle · 19/11/2012 08:46

why does my boss keep coming in when I'm midway through a mammoth post? idiot!!!

YYYAAAAYYYYY for christmas Grin

keepitgoing · 19/11/2012 08:17

oh beedle that sucks about BFN and stupid AF. I'm not testing for about 10 days. Well actually AF due next Friday (and that's the day I start my IUI cycle) and i never test anymore. But i suppose i might just to check there's no sneaky little embryo in there before i start downing clomid. Eek i just realised how close it is. I need handholding, but also not to get my hopes up that IUI will work, so as i don't get too disappointed at the almost inevitable failure.

And beedle will your little tree be drowned in decorations?! Get MrB to JIAJ before you get to your next ov time. He needs to get a shift on!

geek good to see you! Don't stress about christmas being close. That just means that your op is close too!

sparks and biscuit those posts were so sweet! I too really appreciate you guys and will do so even more if i ever get a bfp! I love to see other brookers' successes, and to go on these journeys with you. Yes, these are difficult times, but this is our thing, girls. This is our hardship, and we all have them.

sparks love the other thread you started btw. Maybe i should send it to my sister... What not to say to a ttc-er!

so back to thailand from stinky India. I will not name my daughter Calcutta now i have been there. Managed lots of rat smacking, and actually got a huge glob of ewcm! I wonder if it's the first time i noticed it because there'd be no swi until that point due to us not being together. maybe normally it all just gets mixed up with sperms or something, whereas this time i knew it wasn't. Anyway, we smacked it right away, so let's hope that was a good sign, and kept those funny shaped swimmers going till my beautiful egg turned up.

Geeklette · 19/11/2012 07:56

Phew beedle I thought you meant you were so enthusiastic you had deliberately gone out to a christmas tree farm to have your pick!! Grin

BeedleTheBard · 19/11/2012 07:55

geek I meant to say good luck for today. And as for the Xmas tree, well we weren't planning on getting one yesterday, but we were at DP's parents summer house (sounds a lot more impressive than it actually is!) and we saw a lovely little xmas tree so we dug it up and brought it home. Its only about a metre tall :o

Geeklette · 19/11/2012 07:48
Geeklette · 19/11/2012 07:22

Ooh bartlet yes please! We can have a game of quidditch at the reception Grin

Thanks boo

Got rotten head cold so will probably be cancelling my give blood session tomorrow. Unfortunately, that means going to WW weigh-in after two weeks of being a seriously miserable, drunken cow bad girl

BeedleTheBard · 19/11/2012 05:22

keep sorry to disappoint you but there's nothing to report here. I got a bfn yesterday and y boobs aren't sore anymore so I think AF will be here soon.

Bartlet I'll come to the harry potter themed renewal, and I reckon sparks will too :o
How are you? Are you still having lots of scans?

We got our Xmas tree yesterday, its a little baby one that we dug up with the roots so its in a big pot in the garden. If it survives the move we'll bring it inside in a few weeks. DP has already got the boxes of decorations out in anticipation Hmm

Is there anyone else testing this week?

Princessishavingababyboo · 18/11/2012 21:07

Ooh sign me up Bartlet :)

BartletForTeamGB · 18/11/2012 21:00

Do you all want to come then? We can have a big rat smacker day out!

Princessishavingababyboo · 18/11/2012 20:31

Good luck tomorrow Geek :)

Princessishavingababyboo · 18/11/2012 15:23

Grin can we convince you so renew your vows Bartlet it sounds fab!

BartletForTeamGB · 18/11/2012 15:21

sparks, that would have been great! I could have been dressed up as a witch, DH as Harry Potter, owls to deliver our rings, the catering staff dressed up as house elves, trolls to entertain the children, Butterbeer to drink. Now why didn't I think of this?!?

keepitgoing · 18/11/2012 12:00

I'm baaaack!!!

V tired but logged in to check on beedle???

SecretSparkle · 17/11/2012 23:17

bartlet I'm totes imagining you having a Harry potter themed wedding now GrinWink

BartletForTeamGB · 17/11/2012 22:36

I had my reception in a college dining hall (see FB and the "our wedding" folder but think Harry Potter) so only had three tables (left, middle and right) in front of the top table, where the Fellows would normally sit.

SecretSparkle · 17/11/2012 18:15

My tables were numbered, but this was largely because if we just had numbers the venue were willing to throw in the numbers, seating plan, place settings etc etc that all matched!!

RubberBullets · 17/11/2012 17:34

My tables were named after the flowers. It was a coincidence that I had the same number of flowers as tables so I took advantage.

Princessishavingababyboo · 17/11/2012 17:09

Grin failed :(

Princessishavingababyboo · 17/11/2012 17:08

Face you should have a brookers table, and a pombear, naice ham, and Greggs/fruitshoot tables, see how many of your guests nod knowingly hope you didn't have a hangover today.

cartoonface · 17/11/2012 00:58

Tbh I'm not big on fish either. Apart from fish fingers but I actually liked their fish cakes! The duck option was bloody gorgeous too thou.
Crazy brookers! Right there's one table name just 9 (i think) more names to come up with!
Don't think I've ever posted at this time of night but I am a few cocktails down!

Princessishavingababyboo · 16/11/2012 19:28

cooee everyone, I love all this wedding talk, though I am with you about the fish Sparks I do not like sea food at all, so I will have to have the beef too. now Face will our table be numbered or just labelled crazy brookers Wink

Solars that is a lot of information, very helpful too, good luck with your next step.

Cup so sorry that bitch AF got you again, but that is the last time!! brooking no argument.

Geek good luck for your appointment on Monday, brooking they give you a nice quick pre Christmas date.

well not much from me, having email battles with the committee ladies and now have my arm in a splint cos I have hurt the ligaments, I was only boxing ffs Grin

happy Friday, hope you all have good rat smacking weekends planned Wink

Geeklette · 16/11/2012 16:32

PS - yes, I am having a bit of a slack afternoon at work. It's Friday, I've worked hard all week - and boy has it felt like the longest week of the year - and quite frankly, I don't care Wink

Geeklette · 16/11/2012 16:04

solars I'd be really interested to hear your endo specialist's recommendations, will you post back when you've been please? The waiting here's horrible, but my wacky body has done its best to take my mind off it and give me something else to mental about Grin I don't know if I'll get any clue on Monday about when the op will be, it will probably be another case of waiting for a letter to come through. I really, really want it to be before christmas though. I just want to start the new year with my IVF to look forward to, and no more obstacles.
