Trace what are those pains if you are not expecting AF now until Tuesday? You have been having them since last Tuesday haven't you? Is that normal for some people to have AF cramps for that long???? You could have tested to early.

I had quite a lot of CM yesterday which decided me that AF will be on time tomorrow/Monday. I was in floods of tears sitting on dd's knee over dinner. Even though I was 93% sure that we didn't manage it that 7% still kept me going and I was unbelievably f*ed off. The thing is that we had plenty of bding at the right time and always do, so something must be wrong. He said all the right things and was truly lovely, but I feel crushed - and AF hasn't even come yet!
OK enough misery.

Piffle - you have gone very quiet, I hope you're alright....

trace2 · 16/06/2006 21:52

OP posts:
wannaBe1974 · 16/06/2006 09:40

hello am crashing again :).

Trace, firstly no simptoms doesn't mean no pg, especially so early on, and even if you've had simptoms with your previous pregnancies every pregnancy is different and what happens in one doesn't necessarily happen in another, so I definitely wouldn't dismiss pregnancy purely on the basis of lack of simptoms. Also, you're only on about day .. er .. 26 or so? very very early to get a positive test, remember that your previous cycles have been 23 days based on the fact you've not been ovulating, so if you've ovulated this month then it's very plausible that your cycle will be longer than it has been recently. With regard to af type pains, I have no knowledge of chlomid but I have a theory .. possibly I'm just barking but here goes ..

As you've previously not been ovulating, the lining of your uterus hasn't thickened as it should have done during the last part of your cycle. But as you've ovulated this month, it's possible that the lining o your uterus has thickened as it should, and the increased blood supply to the uterus is causing the pains, similar to when we get pains in the first trimester of pregnancy, these are caused by increased blood flow to the uterus, and imo this could be what's happening in your case too, as your uterus is unused to this amount of blood flow. If you're concerned, then you should see your gp, esp in light of your infection a few months back.

And wait another week before testing if af does 't arrive

good luck xx

I am finding it hard to think about anything else and its doing my head in :(

Piffle · 15/06/2006 11:35

peachy I am so hoping this is it for you!!!
I had a rubbish nights sleep, dd has got yet another cough... plus stayed up to enjoy 3 episodes of desp housewives until 1am.
Up at 3 4 and 6 with dd Took temp at 6, disturbed night could count for the lower temp I guess but I should know better than to cling on to straws!
I have really sore boobs today, damn sore to touch.

rubles · 15/06/2006 11:15

lol peachy. Actually I have managed to test from just a few little drops, you don't need much, just a very small container. Grin

It's looking good for you though - 17 dpo. How long have you been ttc? I have a feeling it has been a while, but I don't know if I am confusing you with someone.

Natty1806 · 15/06/2006 11:10

Sounding good peachy. fingers crossed for you.

peachygirl · 15/06/2006 10:50

hi
36.5 again today. (I did take my temp earlier today as I was awake at 6 but a much better nights sleep - how about you piffle?)tiny little bit of 'darker' cm so far today so we shall see what the day brings
I am realy tired and my boobs are quite tender too and I'm being a bit emotional (which is not really like me)
trace do you think that the clomid causing you to ov could make you cycle slightly longer too?
fingers crossed for you and piffle too, roubles stay in there with the wait.
I actually mentioned to DH this morning that I was late. He was very tired, he did ask how late? and I explained about the 18 day thing and testing at the weekend, but it was probably too early for him to take in.
I 'm aiming to test on sat, but it is hard especialy this morning as I had a really big wee and thought OOH this would have been a great testing wee!! Grin
