Back from the scan, have been redated as 9+2, heartbeat and very wriggily baby. So, so relieved.

My local GP scans every Tuesday, so I will be back in next week for another scan and have been signed off work until 12 weeks.

Feeling slightly embarrassed at making a massive fuss, but DH has pointed out I would have felt worse if I did nothing and it turned out I had missed something. I was really wibbily about taking the time off work too because the office need me, and he had a stern chat about what's important! I knew I loved and married him for a reason.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Wine Brew Biscuit Thanks

fanjodisfunction · 08/01/2013 14:23

Let's hope so rainbox, I had a bleed with Fi at 6 weeks and at 14 weeks, with pains both times and she was fine. (Had nothing to do with her not being here.) I posted a little something for you in the FB group, sorry I can't do more.

RainboxFX · 08/01/2013 14:15

You are all so caring and wonderful, I can't tell you how much it means and how much it is helping.

Really hoping that I am just making a massive fuss over nothing. Just under two hours to go.

fanjodisfunction · 08/01/2013 12:53

rainbox I'm here too, for all the hand holding you need. Really hoping that this is just normal bleeding.

Whatevertheweather · 08/01/2013 12:29

Oh Rainbox also here for virtual hand holding. How bloody scary but as you say not uncommon and not always sinister. Praying for good news at 4pm. Will be checking in on you xxx

Babyh200 · 08/01/2013 11:53

Rainbox: praying everything is ok. Did you have any bleeding prior to today. Eg Bleeding early on in this pregnancy? Some people bleed all the way through that's all. Your in my heart chick. Get your feet up on the sofa straight away its an order!

Massive virtual hugs are coming your way.

Please please be ok xxxxxx

KleinePoppet · 08/01/2013 11:38

Really glad your DH is there. I've always thought he sounded lovely - now I know for sure...
And yes, stay away from Google. It doesn't have the answer to this.
I'll be back in a bit so do keep posting if it helps xxx

RainboxFX · 08/01/2013 11:35

Thank you. Really swinging between feeling everything will be fine, it's not uncommon, and utterly certain it's going wrong.

DH is being amazing. He was on a half day to go for the scan anyway so has taken the morning off to stay home with me.

Trying to stay away from google.

Oh rain box, my hand us here for you. I have everything crossed that all is well with you and the bean. Xxx

KleinePoppet · 08/01/2013 11:14

Oh rainbox... I was just popping on to write a message - I am HERE and will keep checking, if you want to write anything else. I'm so sorry you're having such a frightening morning. I'm glad, though, that you already had a scan booked and don't have to fight anyone to get seen today... I am hoping so very, very much that everything is ok. Do you have anything you can do in the meantime? I know nothing can actually help - but do you have the concentration to watch a movie, play a card game - something, anything, to get you through to 4pm? Is DH with you or has he had to go to work? Loads and LOADS of love and a big hug xxx

babyh huge hugs to you as well. There's nothing I can say to make it any better, I know, but - well - I know how you feel. It's awful. And six months is such a tough one. I wish your gorgeous little man was with you xxx

Love to everyone else too xx

RainboxFX · 08/01/2013 10:51

Hey all,

sorry not to name check, I know there are a lot of bad times going on at the moment but I could really use some hand holding and good thoughts.

Woke up this morning (9+5) with pain and bleeding. Really frightened. Called the EPU but luckily I had a scan booked for this afternoon anyway so I am just waiting and watching. 4PM feels like a hundred years away.

fanjodisfunction · 07/01/2013 20:19

Didn't get my tat in the end, I have decided to wait till I have at least a week off work so that it can heal nicely.
Also we are taking a break from ttc this month, I want to get a bit fitter and have already lost 3 pounds. Starting slimming world tomorrow, so fx all this work gets me pg this year!

How is everyone?

poppet how are you doing today?

spilttheteaagain · 06/01/2013 15:40

kleine so sorry you're having a really rough time. It's so hard seeing DHs hurting isn't it, makes you feel so helpless and all you want to do is be able to make it better for them.

fan ahh cats and Christmas trees! A couple of years ago our rather thick cat set fire to himself by leaning into a Christmas candle. Was a bit Shock! Bet yours enjoyed trashing it though Grin Tattoo sounds beautiful, a really lovely idea.

notso I'm glad you've got a plan for tomorrow. Thinking of you xx

I am feeling lousy - all nauseous and revolting today. I seem to be weirdly sensitive to hormones. I couldn't take the combined pill as it gave me constant nausea and lots of vomiting (tried 3 types). When I came off the minipill in 2010 I had 3 weeks of solid nausea as my cycle got underway again. 2 pregnancies with v nauseous first trimesters and here we go again - my periods have just returned 2 weeks ago, CD11 today and sick as a proverbial what not again - presumably just everything regulating itself. Bastard hormones eh! Hoping it's not a several week thing like my post pill comedown. It's not a bug though, it's the exact same thing as all the other times, the slight disorientation and sense of travel sickness, wibbly feeling insides and only feel ok when actually eating, and it better be stodgy carbs! Feel a little glum and sorry for self. Sorry for the whinge.

blizy · 05/01/2013 21:43

Kleine, hope you and dh are ok this evening. I agree with fa about having something to look forward to, even if its just a day out with dh.

Hope all you lovely ladies are ok.
X

KleinePoppet · 05/01/2013 15:30

Thanks for fan too! xxxxxx
