Hi everyone - I've started the new thread as our original one is nearly full.

I really hope that this is the one where we all get our BFPs and don't have to experience any more heartache.

Welcome Thunder!

Lol, you know that means you'll need a massive poo on the plane tomorrow? Sexy.
Hope the staff are all ok long term. :(

Kitty, enjoy tonight with your DD & DP, sorry you've got to go back tomorrow.

just starting to think about Christmas here, it's not bloody fair, and I don't really want to celebrate. Going to PIL on the day so MIL can cook whilst I mope & get fat on crap chocolate.

Lolcbcblemonlime · 15/11/2012 18:24

Hi thunder

I'm glad you are here with us (not glad on the reason why obviously but u get my point)!
I was about to send you a message asking how everything went. How are you feeling?
Well I'm off to Iceland tomorrow and back on Tuesday.
Bowels worked a bit but not enough so I'm full of shit Grin
Had a most bizarre day. One of the branches I used to manage got raided Sad. Staff in shock etc. I'm really worried about all of them. Nobody hurt but all distressed. Bastards.

Thundercatsarego · 15/11/2012 16:59

Hi kitty and bear, thanks for the welcomes.

Yes kitty, I had to be in at 8am and I left hospital by half one, and I was the last of the four they did that day. Everyone was lovely, it wasn't scary at all really. The worst bit of it for me was catching too many glimpses of the scan photo that they'd stuck in the file. I didn't need that.

Yes waiting for this bleed to stop and then af.

What stage are you at, bear? Sorry if that's slow on the uptake but all the recent posts of yours I've seen you are just being caring about other people!

BraveLilBear · 15/11/2012 16:27

Hi thundercats sorry you had to join us here but you're very welcome. Not just because you have awesome taste in cartoons, either!

I hope you are feeling better soon. Take the time you need to get back on your feet - physically and mentally - and we'll be here throughout.

Kitty great news they're letting you home! Will be thinking of you and your early start tomorrow.

KittyBump · 15/11/2012 15:57

Thanks thundercats sorry for your loss, are you waiting foe AF now? I am allowed to go hone :) just waiting to be picked up now, then back tomorrow for 7am! Were you able to go home the same day?

Thundercatsarego · 15/11/2012 15:20

Hello everyone,

I wanted to say hi as I don't want to lurk without posting. Had first ever bfp in Sept, but found out we had a mmc at the dating scan. Baby stopped developing at 10 weeks. Had ERPC on Tues. so all pretty new and I am mostly feeling very drained, exhausted actually and rather flat full of self pity but I feel that in time we'll bounce back and are keen to start TTC again soon

I'm sorry to see a few familiar faces in here having had such sad experiences too, but as was pointed out to me by lovely lol, this is a good place to be, with great support and friendly faces.

Anyway I won't witter any more, just wanted to say hi, and send support to all- whatever stage you are at. kitty hope it all goes smoothly tomorrow and they do let you home tonight. Mine was very quick and smooth even though I was dreading it.

KittyBump · 15/11/2012 14:31

Right, now had a scan - still shows remaining tissue so ERPC tomorrow, I think they will let me go home then come back. Waiting to speak with doctor again. Can't wait to go home.
Good luck to all ttc and those poas be it an opk or hpt

AWomanCalledHorse · 15/11/2012 13:07

((kitty)), I'm sorry it's such a crappy drawn-out situation you're in right now. Hope the doctor has let you have a scan, and you're not in for another night.
Fingers crossed you get home to your girl soon. xx

posy, af arrived the first day of our honeymoon, and every holiday we've had since then, so I'm assuming she knows when I'm relaxed. Going to try & forget that I have DS free time coming up to trick af into staying away. Ha!

Sympathies to all with shit jobs/bosses. I had to leave my dream job because of my wanker manager. As I think back over it, I wish I whistle blew over what a knob he was but at the time I just didn't have the fight to complain.
Here's to getting a decent job you love soon Almond & posy Wine

lol, how's your bowel today? Grin

Positive OPK's for the last two days here, so we're having a shagtastic time.

BraveLilBear · 15/11/2012 12:10

Kitty sounds utterly rubbish. Sending hugs and hope for something to happen in the right direction soon.

I agree, seems a bit extreme to be put under without a scan first? Have you been able to explain that to them? Everything crossed for you that you get some answers soon - and get home to see your DD soon.

KittyBump · 15/11/2012 11:48

Hi everyone, thanks for all the messages. Well, still in limbo... Had to go in to hospital on Tuesday night to be assured of having a bed for Wesnesday (!) had first lot of tablets at 9.30am then had all 4 other doses at 3 hour intervals and absolutely nothing no bleeding whatsoever. And because the last dose was at 10pm they kept me in again so I am still in hospital :( I'm so fed up, I didn't get to see my little girl at all yesterday and it's the first time I've been away from her. I'm currently waiting to see the doctor to see what she wants to do next. I assumed there would be a scan to check if everything had just cleared up on its own but the junior doctor has told me that the consultant says there is no need for a scan and I will probably go straight to theatre. I'm really not happy about that as I now haven't had any bleeding since Saturday and I think they should check out what is going on before giving me a general anaesthetic! Really do not want to spend another night here. If this ever happens again I will be going straight for ERPC

posyplum · 14/11/2012 20:28

ps horse we had a DD-free weekend last weekend, and unfortunately ours did coincide with AF! Still managed to get in a cheeky dtd though Smile Nice to have some quality time with your DH to look forward to!

posyplum · 14/11/2012 20:24

Thanks brave, yes guilt-free Wine and coffee is definitely an upside!

Almond I hate my job too! Been job hunting months, and each month that goes by that I am not going on maternity leave any time soon doesn't help. That's probably the most depressing part about the no success - I am willing (I suppose) to wait til my body's ready, but I need some way to make my job more bearable! apart constantly being on mumsnet

Lolcbcblemonlime · 14/11/2012 16:19

Thanks horse

Have you been dutifully shaggjng almond?

AlmondFrangipani · 14/11/2012 16:12

Hi Lol!!! Been thinking of you! Well I should OV next couple if days so we can suffer a bit of the 2ww together! Hate constipation, maybe try some green tea? Sometimes helps...

AWomen thanks. Not really TBH but fingers crossed I get a BFP soon and escape on a very long mat leave!

AWomanCalledHorse · 14/11/2012 13:30

Echo, I'm really sorry to hear you've had to make that decision, fingers tightly crossed for the next two months & I hope that after things end up alright.

Almond, hope work is bearable!

Good luck today Kitty!

Good luck for shagweek posy, we've got a DS free weekend coming up in December so hoping it doesn't coincide with a af!

Good luck testing tomorrow Sally

hope you manage to go soon!

Lolcbcblemonlime · 14/11/2012 12:11

Hi almond welcome back!
I'm on 3dpo and seem to be very constipated Blush. Very annoying!

AlmondFrangipani · 14/11/2012 11:19

Hi Girls!

Sorry I've been MIA lately. Hello lots of newbies!

Been having a v tough time at work (evil boss) which has been consuming me. Anyhow DH and I decided to get back TTC as my job hunting is going v slowly and we don't want to delay it anymore. We're taking the 'what will be will be approach'. So CD16 today and having watery CM. No Grin today and usually OV late so fx were in for this month.

andadietcoke · 14/11/2012 10:34

Good luck kitty

Oh, and name changed from HannahJayne -bit more mumsnetty and less spottable IRL since my SIL knows about the mc and is on mn

SallysTrying · 14/11/2012 09:19

Good luck today Kitty, hope it goes ok.

Still no sign of AF. Still gassy. Still tired. Boobs now sore. Bit more crazed. Testing tomorrow.

BraveLilBear · 13/11/2012 15:25

Sorry to hear of your troubles Echo - like Sally says, hope things end up the best, whatever happens in the next few months.

You sound very upbeat Kitty, all things considered! Hope it all goes ok and self-application is permitted.

TTC sucks, doesn't it Posyplum. It's just endless waiting, endless thinking about what might have been and what might be. Here's hoping that shagweek is the light at the end of this tunnel for you. Plus, you're allowed guilt-free Wine and coffee. Scant consolation, but if it helps take the edge off...

posyplum · 13/11/2012 14:34

Such lovely news Jessie! Am so pleased for you Smile After everything you've been through this year that 12 week scan must have been the best feeling. xxx

Sorry I haven't been on much ladies. I have felt a bit down about ttc recently. Onto cycle 5 post-mc now... [sigh]. Shagweek next week though, so I'll be back in the game then! Hope everyone's well. xxx

KittyBump · 13/11/2012 13:49

Congratulations mrsJls85 so pleased for you :) and hope everything turns out the best for you echo
I'm off to hospital for blood tests at 4pm then back in tomorrow for 'tablets' which I hope I'll be allowed to insert myself! I've had no bleeding for 3 days now so completely confused! Asked for another scan but that would then delay things so guess I'll just go with the plan. Fingers crossed it works

SallysTrying · 13/11/2012 10:57

Congrats MrsJ!

Echo sorry to hear that, I hope whatever you end up doing turns out for the best for you.

Still no AF here, or any signs of it showing up. No symptoms to speak of either other than being quite gassy (sorry...) - I'm quite tired but that's just a symptom of sleeping badly in a crappy hotel bed.

Testing again on Thursday morning if still no AF. ARGH I hate this bit.

EchoAlone · 13/11/2012 09:51

Congrats, MrsJ!

I know how you feel, AWoman, about nerves/fear. I did POAS (too early) and the test was so cheap it took ages for even the control line to appear, so I thought the more important line might also develop, and my hand was shaking so much with hope (for bfp) and fear (that it would be another mc).

Today I feel definite PM cramps, so expect to be back to day one soon. Since the MC my cycle is shorter. It used to be around 42 days! Now its 24. Maybe it's because I am 42.

DH does not want to TTc as he is having health problems, and our DS would be at least 11 by the time a baby comes. So I have sadly decided just to TTC for 2 more months. I am upset as I really love babies, and the DS would be so happy, but part of the DP's problem is caused by stress, so another baby, however much I long for one, would make the situation worse.

messtins · 13/11/2012 08:56

Congratulations Mrs J - thanks for coming back to let us know, we like to hear success stories! All the best for a very uneventful 6 months.
