Hi everyone - I've started the new thread as our original one is nearly full.

I really hope that this is the one where we all get our BFPs and don't have to experience any more heartache.

Bonnie baby-maker Belissima!

BelissimaLol · 21/11/2012 18:46

Superstitious? Me???
Hello ladies its me Grin

Thundercatsarego · 21/11/2012 18:44

Ahh useful info kitty, thank you. thats why you are going to test after 10 days. So I'm at 8 now- fx for bfn at the weekend.

Ok I have looked at a list of words beginning with B (I'm not well? This is why I have this kind of time on my hands...) and here are some of my favourites:

Baboonish
Balloonfish
Ballyhoo
Bamboozle
Bandy
Bap

(Oo bandybaps?!)

Baroness

KittyBump · 21/11/2012 18:31

Well lol what does your current name mean? Once we know that we can think of ones starting with B :) I may become BumpKitty (sounds like I'm going to kill a cat in a mafia way - I quite like it!)
Congrats bear so pleased for you - I can see me spending loads on CB tests in the future :)
thundercats I read somewhere to test 10 days after ERPC then if it was still positive contact the EPAU as it might mean they left a bit behind. Though I know it took messtins 3 weeks to get BFN so it's another grey area
Big wave to everyone else x

Lolcbcblemonlime · 21/11/2012 18:05

Might change my name into something with B before af is due. Any suggestions?

andadietcoke · 21/11/2012 17:00

Oh oh oh bravelilbear (teeny tiny whispered) congratulations! Loving this little streak - long may it continue!

BrieMonster · 21/11/2012 16:39

Woohooooo bear, great news!! Congrats.

Thundercatsarego · 21/11/2012 15:33

Hey pink, want a bit of this dolcelatte? You missed this one...

Good sign james - keep at it despite opk I reckon.

Does anyone know when to expect bfn after ERPC? I want one now too!

BraveLilBear · 21/11/2012 15:26

Great news on the BFN pink Grin tis a strange world we find ourselves in isn't it?! Thanks for the whispered congrats, it's much appreciated. All is definitely not lost, and fx your next test is a BFP Smile

Thanks James - the way I see it, you can't get pg from a smiley face alone, so keep on dtd and the timing will coincide at some point! ALso - am sure someone else on another thread was saying they found that only certain wees of the day generated a positive on opks...

IBelieveInPink · 21/11/2012 15:13

Congrats (whispered of course) to Brie and bear! Yay.

I am just waiting for my first af to come along. Poas yesterday to check all is back to normal and Finally got a bfn. Will be the last one I am happy to see!
But this is why I love this Fred, am so happy for those with bfps and reminds me that all is not lost!

poaches some of the cheese stash thunder has been collecting

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 21/11/2012 14:39

Hooray for brie and bear, best of luck x

I have ewcm today, it's 2 weeks since mc bleeding stopped, opk says no though been dtd like mad things though, so I guess we'll see soon enough!

BraveLilBear · 21/11/2012 14:01

Oh, and lol, last night I dreamed I had a BFP. Maybe dreams can come true?!

BraveLilBear · 21/11/2012 14:00

Thank you messtins Grin am trying! I'm toying with the idea of getting some CBDCI to reassure me of increasing levels - much like BrieMonster I refused to waste a pricey test on what I thought would be a BFN. But then last time, that's what sent me into a spiral of panic.

(Had 1-2 when first got BFP, then week after, the day I knew somehting was up, got another 1-2. And freaked. Next day, mc started. Think now that HCG had been going up as had been getting more and more symptoms, but they started dropping the day before)

Thoughts?

messtins · 21/11/2012 13:40

Hurrah - lots of lovely BFPs. Congratulations lilbear and hope you can soon feel more excited than scared.

Thundercatsarego · 21/11/2012 11:55

Eeeeeep bear!!!!!! Grin Grin Grin

I'm really thrilled for you

bagsy your cheese stash

BraveLilBear · 21/11/2012 11:52

Sorry for your ov pains GaryB - I have always seen myself as fairly lucky - I always get a kind of ping sensation which hurts like a very pointy pokey punch, then fades with a minute. I have heard some people have a much worse deal though Sad

So excited for you brie even though means waving goodbye to the cheese stash! Are you testing soon Lol - and did you see the lights better in the end.

Oh, and turns out AF hasn't been stalking me at all I got a BFP this morning Shock

Feel scared and excited then scared then happy then excited then scared... Eek!

BrieMonster · 21/11/2012 06:46

I know lol I am not sure what came over me.. Definitely expected a negative so early but bought the twin pack for in a few days. (really didn't know where I was at cycle wise.) Will use it in a couple of weeks to check progress like a true medical professional! Hoping you can feel the same worry soon... In a good way, you know. All we want is a BFP the rest will take care of itself, right?

Thanks munchin, messtins and gary. I hereby gift my Brie stash to you until such Christmas or whenever you do test. You can also have my pâté and thanksgiving booze... Supposed to be drinking up a storm on Thursday night with work. Last pg would have had a glass and a nibble but can see me being paranoid this time, despite the mc not being the work of a soft boiled egg. Gratefully paranoid. Anyway, enjoy.

Lolcbcblemonlime · 20/11/2012 23:18

Oh Brie you didn't wait for me!
Congrats though. I can imagine the fear, I know I will be the same when I finally fall pg again.

MunchinMango · 20/11/2012 21:46

Hi ladies, wow so many newbies. Sorry yous find yourselves here but on the upside lots of new pals to chat to :)

Also a bfp!!! Congrats Brie, always delighted o hear of bfp's.

Laughing at all stories of medics fainting and vocab problems.

Afm on cd15, had some +opk's and some dtd and just waiting for temps to confirm Ov. So hopefully moving on to 2ww. So who knows....

GaryBuseysTeeth · 20/11/2012 21:33

Everything crossed for you Brie, brilliant news.
Although you'll have to forgo being the brie monster for 9 months, which means more brie for everyone else, everyone wins! Grin

messtins, thanks for that link. Was it the current Red issue? Sounds really interesting, I may go to one next year (can't make the one at St Pauls).

Bear, I guess you're too far along this cycle, but I had bloody awful ovulation pains this month, felt like I'd been punched in the stomach...how are you feeling now?

Wine for Sally and others awaiting AF, I will be drinking this weekend as I expect AF around then.

YorkshirePeanut · 20/11/2012 20:57

Bear seriously, my poker-faced delivery is brilliant.

KittyBump · 20/11/2012 20:23

Ooh that's excellent news Brie I will cross everything for you :)
Ha at all the fainting and running away medics! I like the bit about the dentist muttering under his breath - I bet that dental nurse didn't last long!
Good Luck to everyone else testing x

messtins · 20/11/2012 19:10

Congratulations Brie. Hope you have a very uneventfull ride to full term. Also hope it's the first of a little flurry of BFPs...

BrieMonster · 20/11/2012 18:47

Thanks everyone, funny how excited I get for others here and in RL but for myself I just feel like holding my breath for the next 5 months or so! Was my second I guess dietcoke, mc on 24th sept and was told to wait for next bleed which was a calendar month later. We didn't actively follow this advice, but neither of us really felt up to much straight after the mc. And yet I somehow expected to get pregnant last month anyway after being told how super fertile I would be!

andadietcoke · 20/11/2012 17:39

Brie congratulations!! Lots of love and luck for the next few weeks. What cycle was this post-mc?

YorkshirePeanut I'm sure it happens in every hospital every day - I can't even talk - I knew I was pg when I lost my lunch watching an anatomy demonstration I think I've seen countless times before! It just made me laugh because my friend felt so guilty that she was responsible for it!
