Yay winkle, think you deserve a little hangover after a well deserved celebration Grin

Heartburn is FINALLY starting to ease up and from my google snooping it does seem like a lot of ladies get really bad heartburn just before they get their smily face on opk. I can't use opks cos of pcos so i'm seeing the heartburn and ewcm as being good indicators!! Now just have to make sure DH stays in the zone lol

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 17/10/2012 10:38

Ooh forgot to say congrats on the job winkle

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 17/10/2012 10:37

Hi resipsa sorry everything is rubbish right now, especially with the due date coming round. Hope you are telling better today.

Kittenkatzen · 17/10/2012 09:47

Congrats on the new job winkle!

winkle2 · 17/10/2012 09:33

Congrats on the new job winkle Grin

LittleMissSnowShine · 17/10/2012 07:26

Bit wrecked last night so dtd at 6 this morning, will repeat again tonight. I think ewcm usually seems to appear a day or two before actual ov, for me at least anyway.. But i did dtd on cd13 and i'm actually on cd15 today! So maybe I'll ov around cd 16/17 rather than 18/19 like i was before. Interesting... (to me lol)

winkle2 · 16/10/2012 22:49

Get dtd!!!

OP posts:
LittleMissSnowShine · 16/10/2012 22:44

LittleMissSnowShine · 16/10/2012 18:48

Yay winkle, congrats on new job!! Fab news Grin and yes you are right of course, no point in testing early, we'll all wait patiently for you to poas Wink

weechops - ooh that is v good news & v good timing!! Heartburn is bad and it has been going on for 48 hours - cm doesnt exactly resemble ewcm but i suppose u never know! Will be dtd tonight, tomorrow, night after that etc etc so hopefully will catch it when ov does happen!

Toilet training and starting naughty step / time out with ds at the min,so between that, workload and still money stress, i can really not be bothered to dtd this week but im littlemissCAN_DO!!!

Lolcbcblemonlime · 16/10/2012 18:31

Oh congrats winkle!
You are like me on the bfn fear so I won't egg you on maybe a little bit

We will wait patiently till Friday ...

winkle2 · 16/10/2012 18:28

Not poas tomorrow! Can't bear seeing bfn. Plus my cycles have previously gone up to 35 days - I even had a random 43 day cycle recently! So will hold off until Friday. Got plenty to keep me busy - I got a new job today :)

weechops · 16/10/2012 18:06

resipsa hope you're ok today. Thinking of you (un-mn hug ((())) )

littlemiss I never knew heartburn was ov related. I've had it over the past 2 days and I'm still waiting on my smiley on opk. This is cd 15.

Oh and the best news of all - dh is coming home tomorrow night woo! So hopefully if I get a smiley tomorrow we'll actually be in the same place at ov time for this month :)

LittleMissSnowShine · 16/10/2012 15:58

Also i have had KILLER heartburn.y'day & today again. V unusual for me & i havent been eating anything particularly unusual and I've just seen.a thread on babycentre suggesting it might be related to ov. Well err maybe. But hopefully they are right!!

LittleMissSnowShine · 16/10/2012 15:51

Poor u respisa im really not looking forward to my 'would have been due' date in feb :( totally ok to just feel a bit down today, tomorrow is a new day.

winkle - are u really holding out on poas til tomorrow?? impressed

Cd13 for me or day 2 of shagathon. Might try conceive plus tonight, never used it before. Also off booze and caffeine since y'day, dosed up on.prenatal vits/agnus castus. Fx bloody crossed!!!

resipsa · 16/10/2012 13:47

Good luck tomorrow, winkle.
when they give progesterone supplements more routinely in the US where care in pregnancy is managed by an obstetrician from the outset. It seems to gave a good success rate without significant side effects. The others are right, you need to be sure but it's probably worth a shot.
Bad day today (setting aside a DH on crutches for next month, more broke nights courtesy of DD and yesterday's root canal) as it's my "but for m/c" due date and no one save you lot knows.
A friend announced she's 14 weeks with no.3. First time lucky in terms of TTC. Trying to feel happy for her but struggling. Am at risk of serious self-pity attack!
How's everyone else?

Lolcbcblemonlime · 16/10/2012 13:19

Ooh exciting! Anyone poas with winkle tomorrow?
Give us a live feed so as we can send u good vibes Grin

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 16/10/2012 10:18

winkle I just checked the thread cause I thought today was your testing date. Fx

winkle2 · 16/10/2012 08:25

Little miss - my cycles were long and irregular too but they seem to have settled down to a more normal 29 days. Which means I'm due tomorrow eeeeek

OP posts:
WhenSheWasBadSheWasHopeful · 16/10/2012 07:43

winkle littlemiss & kitten thanks for the responses. I can withdraw consent from the trial whenever I want so I still haven't really made my mind up. I do need to do more research as the doctor didn't really know any details of the trial.

I need to "pass" my tests first. For possible chromosomal abnormalities and phospholipid and thrombophilia screening. Dh was a bit concerned about the chromosomal thing, I was trying to explain it to him but I think I might have made it worse.

Kittenkatzen · 16/10/2012 07:20

I second winkle's advice not to do anything you're unsure about - have you got time to think about it and maybe do a little more research of your own at least?

littlemiss good luck with the epic shagathon - I'm knackered on your behalf! Grin

red nope 24 days is not strictly normal for me, although in the 6 months since stopping the pill my cycles have been 27, 30, 29, 28, 25 and 24 days so I guess they do seem to be on a downward trend Confused Glad to hear you're not stressing too much about TTC this month, hope the work and family stuff is all ok.

LittleMissSnowShine · 16/10/2012 07:00

Whenshewasbad - sorry ot didnt go as well ad you might have hoped :( seeing consultants, whether its for pcos or ds's glue ear can be pretty disappointing in my experience. I guess we just want them to have all the answers and ideally a magic solution but you're more likely to get home feeling a.bit.confused and probably more than.a little short changed to boot. I always end up getting.'proper' advice off mumsnet...about everything lol

winkle -yes, exhausting to contemplate too! Stupid irregular cycles! But dtd cds 6, 7 and 12 so far. I can make it through til the end!!

winkle2 · 15/10/2012 23:48

What does the trial involve? Dont do anything you're unsure about x
