Here we go ladies...this really IS it for us all!

I know what u mean nic. I didn't get married in church but I didn't fancy a bump either!
Try to enjoy the moment and don't let ttc spill it though. You've for plenty of time to get pg after the wedding if it doesn't happen this month. And it means you can enjoy champagne on the day!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 27/09/2012 07:07

I'm quite glad I don't have a bump in a weird way...I'd feel a bit uncomfortable getting married in church already pregnant. Strict upbringing which I can't quite escape!!

But I don't have anything near a bump, just a flat stomach ready for a bump! :-/

Fx for this cycle...Mrs and bump creation in one month :-)

I watched that one Dulcet ...didn't she look beautiful! I didn't know they could adjust any dress like that! I loved the dress she chose first, Infact I think my dress shop had that dress. Think it was my british designer! Even I wished I had been a bride with a bump...how ridicoulous I can never just be happy and content that I've done it :-)

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 26/09/2012 20:40

Ooh...missed you there, Lol!

I know, it's so very close now :-)

I'm getting married where I'm from, and that's 170 miles from where Bri is from, so we're trekking down south for it.

My non-hen hen do (I can't stand the L plate / veil thing) is a week on Friday. 14 of us going out for a meal and drinks. Should be fun.

OP posts:
kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 26/09/2012 20:35

Ah...we missed DTTB as we were shagging! I'll have to watch the repeat :-)

I love Haribo too. Loads!

OP posts:
DulcetMoans · 26/09/2012 20:33

For wedding date lol, having a break so not ready to pop on wedding day. Will start again in January and maybe be a pregnant bride! Don't tell the bride was a pregnant one this week, it made me much happier with the prospect!

Nothing beats haribo nic, NOTHING! Love it so much more than chocolate. Actually, jelly sweets are actually one of my fave things in the world!

Lolcbcblemonlime · 26/09/2012 20:29

Dulcet why last try this year?

Lolcbcblemonlime · 26/09/2012 20:28

I'm coming to the conclusion that SS is a cruel joke our bodies play on us. I had all sorts this time and my boobs felt exactly the same as they did when I was pg. I was peeing in the middle of the night ffs! Then af shows up as if nothing happened.
Oh nic u sooooo close now! Where are u getting married and why so far from home? Have u had hen do yet?

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 26/09/2012 20:28

We have Haribo hearts, fried eggs and cola bottles :-) Can't beat a bit of Haribo!

I'd forgotten it's your last attempt this year, Dulcet. FX you catch this month. Will you hang about, either way?

I hate symptom spotting. Our bodies love to play games when we're TTC :-(

OP posts:
letskiwithisthing · 26/09/2012 20:25

Yeah I have no symptoms either dulcet, when do you plan to start TTC again? If no BFP that is!

DulcetMoans · 26/09/2012 20:23

I love those nic, i'd love to get one those as a favour! What sweets you doing??

Not sure about the symptoms but I feel a bit weird. Full maybe? Weeing a lot but that does happen to me. I'm just thinking about it too much really! Last month of trying of 2012 so I guess I am just hopeful but we all know thats dangerous!!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 26/09/2012 20:15

Hi Woody :-)

No, not much to sort really...just got to pay for / collect the suits, collect the dress, have my hair and nails done and that's about it.

Oh, and fill the favours with their sweets - see links for favour boxes:

dino

piggy

I know they're for kids really, but we love them anyway :-)

Then we have to lug it all 170 miles down the road the day before the wedding. Sooooo close now. 9 working days left!

And yeah, Dulcet, any symptoms?

I'm on a promise for tomorrow night, so maintaining the EOD approach. Quite surprised I haven't had a smiley yet, as I feel most odd in the ovary region, though not as painful as OV has been for the last couple of months. Maybe I'm just brewing an egg!

I utterly despise natural hormones. I feel so rough / odd for a good half of the month :-(

RaspberrysAndIcecream · 26/09/2012 20:08

I don't mind the pregnancy announcement & the "our new addition" photo - it's just the constant updates that do my head in!!! I don't need to know you've sick 3 tines already this morning!! But then I don't really like those status' anyway!!

Definately agree with pear - send text & emails!!

Dh & i just keep DtD and hope it works - think I may have missed ovulation on cb monitor as I was check cm as well. Fx!!
I'm guessing I'm on the 2 ww now - I hate the 2ww!!! Really hoping I don't get thrush again as has happened the last 3 cycles just before my period.

letskiwithisthing · 26/09/2012 19:44

Evening ladies, hi to pear and thunder - nice to have you on board!

Dulcet - have you had any symptoms then, do share Grin

Woody - the tempings a bit weird at first but second nature now! Only thing is my thermometer beeps to turn on and then beeps 3 times when a temp is recorded! Drives DH insane when he's in bed in the morning after a late shift haha! He keeps jokingly threatening to bin it -as I'd he would dare Wink

Raspberry - at least you are getting lots of DTD in ready for when you get your smiley! Fx it comes soon and then you can join us on the 2ww!

As for the fb thing, I haven't got many pg friends on there - maybe 3 in total and one is close so don't mind about her too much! Agree that I won't be posting pics though, wouldn't want my baby to be judged (maybe I'm being daft) by everyone if you know what I mean! Agree with pear that we would send a text or email to close friends and family :-) can't wait for that day!!!

woody17 · 26/09/2012 19:28

Hi all

Tracking temperatures sounds quite complicated but I might give it a go if nothing happens in the next few months.

Raspberrysandcream I know what you mean about FB. I really don't like the things that come up on my news feed telling me how many weeks so and so is at and what's happening with the baby.

nicola have you got much left to sort out for the wedding?

DulcetMoans · 26/09/2012 19:18

I don't think its unusual raspberry, I haven't mentioned my engagement either. Just feel a bit personal about it and FB isn't even that personal!

Right, can I symptom spot yet?

Oh, Dad coming to stay tomorrow, must hide all CB things!!!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 26/09/2012 17:50

Good on you, Peardrop :-)

I hope I can be as restrained!

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 26/09/2012 15:33

Waving to ladies on new thread ! Raspberries I feel the same about Facebook and pregnancy or baby pics. Someone posted a wonderful link the other day which can be used to block baby photos!! My friend just posted a photo of her child saying Happy 9months today! :-) not sure why 9 months is such a biggie but perhaps it's a milestone known to all mothers?! Anyway DH and I have decided that at no point we will mention pregnancy or post baby photos. The only time we might post a baby photo is at the hospital as I'm sure one wants to shout to the world (I might send an email instead)...however that will be the one and only time! It is not even safe to put children photos online with all the weirdos online!! You have to be so careful nowadays, I think FB and Twitter makes people forget this!

RaspberrysAndIcecream · 26/09/2012 14:38

Posted to soon!!

Thundercats - pop in & see us!! :-) and I like ur name - it makes me smile & want to sing the thundercats theme tune - thundercats are on the loose, thundercats are loose!! Love it!! Lol!!

Not long now Nic - I loved my time off after the wedding - it was fab!!! :-) I think I put on about half a stone on honeymoon!! Food was amazing!! :-)

RaspberrysAndIcecream · 26/09/2012 14:33

Hi guys!! Day 22 in raspberrys house & still no peak!! DtD anyway tho!! Lol!!

Woody the thing that really bugs me at the moment (iabu) is the countdown things on Facebook - it's like so and so is 16 weeks pregnant and this is what the baby is doing now & ALL status updates are about being pregnant, nothing else, just pregnancy - I know that they are excited but life doesn't stop just because they're pregnant. I am hereby promising that I will not stop posting random stuff just because I'm pregnant (infact is it a bit odd that I don't want to put it on there at all??!!) I hope that you're doing ok, rant away if u want to - I just have!! Sorry!!

Thundercats

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 26/09/2012 12:49

No problem, Thunder :-) Good to keep familiar faces around!

OP posts:
Thundercatsarego · 26/09/2012 08:20

Hello all. I wonder if it's ok for me to keep following this thread? As a fellow #1-er it really is one after my own heart and I'd love to see how you all get on.

kNic am also jealous of your time off!

Lolcbcblemonlime · 26/09/2012 08:12

I can't get my head around temps either. Opk complicated enough for me!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 26/09/2012 07:36

It all sounds far too complicated for me! Fx though :-)

I initially had 3 weeks, but had to chip away at it for one reason or another :-(

Two weeks will still be awesome though!

OP posts:
letskiwithisthing · 26/09/2012 07:29

Haha I had 3 weeks off for mine and it was fab!

It's supposed to be higher during the luteal phase:

  • if you are pg, it will stay high
  • if you are not pg, it will drop back down by CD1 and you may also get a few other temps below the cover line during the 2ww!

Some ppl also have an implantation dip between 5-10DPO(ish) I'm no expert but have picked up things on FF :)
