Here we go ladies...this really IS it for us all!

Apparently, lets, you're actually more likely to get upduffed if you have sex in the 48 hours before OV, so you have swimmers sitting waiting for the egg to pop out :-) Don't worry too much.

Are you still POAS, Dulcet, to see if you get a second smiley?

I do think OV is brewing...should I be worried that I normally feel it on the left? Isn't it meant to alternate?

Will be shagging again tonight. Already done 8 days out of 13! Couldn't do this every month!!

DulcetMoans · 29/09/2012 10:19

Aw lets, how annoying! But if you did ov on the Monday you should have had plenty of the fellas waiting around in there from all the DTD beforehand.

My app says its ov day, smiley disagreed!

letskiwithisthing · 29/09/2012 10:05

'would' be a nightmare*

letskiwithisthing · 29/09/2012 09:57

Yeah that was be a nightmare nic!

So, thought I would share this with you all! As some of you know, I chart with FF and this month for the first time I decided to use the CB OPKs

FF had detected my ov based on temps as Friday 21st but then I had a smiley on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd, which at the time I was confused by as I thought I had already ov'd! Well fast forward to today and based on the temps I have been entering since last weekend, FF has recalculated ov to be on Monday 24th Sept! This makes me 5DPO today!

As for DTD, we did it every day from Weds 18th - Sunday 23rd, but then DH went away so didn't actually DTD on day of ov or the day after :( much less hopeful now, and worried my LP isn't going to be very long!!

Basically saying that FF and clearblue now both agree that I ov'd on the same day!! Sorry for the waffle! :)

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 29/09/2012 08:53

Morning all...still no surge here. Feel a bit ovaryish today though, so fx it is on the way.

I'd be pissed off with no surge with all my shagging!

OP posts:
kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 28/09/2012 18:49

Ha ha...Conceive Plus is my friend! Can't see me doing this every month. Worth a go at least once though :-)

Hmmm, 7 days is a bit soon for POAS action! I'm in my fertile period, apparently. Hence the constant shagging!

OP posts:
DulcetMoans · 28/09/2012 18:16

consults app 7 days. Might get another one this weekend, who knows! haha. It's not as much I want to test as I want to know! Just noticed app says I am on a regular day now though. That's depressing!

nic, I am concerned about your poor bits with all this action you are getting!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 28/09/2012 17:59

Stay away from the sticks! Or POAS!! Up to you :-) How long since your smiley?

OP posts:
DulcetMoans · 28/09/2012 17:38

What's the deal with the tilting uterus then pear? Does that means its not quite the right position?

I want to test!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 28/09/2012 17:37

I'm not expecting my smiley until Tuesday...maybe I'll get a surprise, but no OV pain yet.

Booked in DTD later on :-) Then again tomorrow night. I much prefer night sex...gives the swimmers more hope of reaching target!

Then we are off to that fancy London on Sunday to watch Muse in Camden. I'll be exhausted on Monday, but it'll be worth it.

Will need to find the energy to DTD on Monday night somehow!

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 28/09/2012 15:53

So relieved!! I knew something was up and it was scaring me! I can handle the pain now I know what it is and it's not hurting baby! I'll have to ask Mclairey about her scenario. Now that they know about my tilting uterus they're a bit more gentle so the scan wasn't painful.

Hope everyone is doing well and we see some smiley faces this weekend!!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 28/09/2012 14:41

Fantastic news. How do you feel?

And that's interesting. I think Maclairey mentioned something similar.

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 28/09/2012 13:29

Hi ladies. I'm not sure if some of you want to hear this but you may find it useful/helpful in the future. I went for another scan this morning. I've been having pains on my right near the pelvic area since the last scan. The good news is baby P is fine and now has a loud beating heart and the other news is they found a tiny bruise full of blood on one of my ovaries which is what is causing the pain. Apparently this is normal, she had to tell me 6x for me to believe it. Oh and for those ever having an internal scan I was told to empty my bladder twice so don't go in with a full bladder! You only need one of those for tummy scans. My 12 week scan is booked now so I just need to sit tight and try and relax fat chance so to speak!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 28/09/2012 12:13

Ha ha, Raspberries :-) I peel the label off my folic acid so no guests know what it is in the kitchen!!

Hope you have a nice day, lets.

I may DTD again tonight...may as well :-) Don't make babies without it!

OP posts:
RaspberrysAndIcecream · 28/09/2012 08:09

Sorry about bfn / AF Hannah.

Day 24 here - I'm not sure what day I'll be testing. Think I'm cycle 4?! I've lost count!! Maybe test in 10days if no AF - or maybe next weekend coz I'm not that good at waiting!!! Lol!!

Mil came round last night, had to quickly hide the cb monitor & sticks that were in the bathroom!! Felt like a naughty child hiding it!!! But really dont need her knowing we're trying!!

letskiwithisthing · 28/09/2012 08:06

Yikes ladies it's me to test on the 4th- unless someone else joins to test before me!

Really hope I have some good news for you all! Would be pleased to get to next Thursday without AF tbh so that I know my LP is ok! Obviously much rather a BFP!!! No symptoms of pg at all- but have symptoms of AF on the way sadly :( not over till she shows though!!

Have a day off with the DH today so going to go out for the day and take my mind off it

Have a good Friday ladies x

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 28/09/2012 07:28

4th is only next Thursday, so not so long to wait!

All we do is wait for things...even the extra shagging isn't distracting me.

OP posts:
DulcetMoans · 28/09/2012 07:11

I just checked the list, nothing til 4th Oct. no second smiley yet. On CD16. Last month was CD7 and CD17 I think. See what happens tomorrow. Dad stayed over tonight so peeing in my pot was tough! Had to hide it and dip the stick in the bedroom.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 28/09/2012 07:02

I'm still POAS waiting for a smiley...expecting it early next week if last month is anything to go by.

Have you had a second smiley like last month, Dulcet?

OP posts:
DulcetMoans · 28/09/2012 06:39

Did you say yes then block? Sounds like a nice thing.

Any testers this weekend? Feel like it's been ages!!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 28/09/2012 06:32

Ha ha, Block! Peardrop's right...no murderous thoughts please! :-)

And my body is especially evil, so I am trying to ignore it all the time!

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 28/09/2012 06:14

Nicola I think you're right to ignore CM post ovulation. The body does seem to do what it wants, when it wants!

peardrop2 · 28/09/2012 06:12

Block step away from the child Grin I'm a godmother, 1 of 3 so I would be the last person to adopt. I'm not even sure why I was chosen to be honest!

BlocketteBananaSmoothie · 28/09/2012 00:33

Right so! Anyone know how to kill off 2 people and make it look like an accident?

Dh and I have just been asked to be God parents to my friends beautiful 1.5 year old! She was joking about how it meant we'd have to have him if something ever happens to them so would have to hire body guards for them. Little does she know while I'd miss her, I'd quite happily steal her son! Grin

Joke

HannahJayne · 27/09/2012 22:34

S'okay. Knew first cycle was a bit too much to ask. We'll see if I'm so chipper in 6 months or so!
